• First 10 Transitions elements does not

  I have added dissolve cross transitions to first items 10 and I tried growing term, but doesn't seem to work (just vague wave).  I have recorded on a DVD to see if transitions visible, but to no avail.

  I was first Pro 4 and Serif X 5 successfully, but want to use elements of Prime Minister as easier to split the timeline and make (tedious 4 PremierPro) cuts.  Can't afford the first 5 teacher!

  Downloaded Canon HV 30 HDV camcorder.  More than 20 hours of videos to edit!

  Any suggestions?

  Welcome to the forum.

  There may be several reasons that a crossfade (or some other Transitions) may not work.

  One of the most common is that the user has just made a cut, but does not alter the images, and when they place the fade on this cut, there is no change, as executives have not changed.

  The next is when you add a crossfade between the Clips, who don't have adequate not manages, additional images, which are necessary for the Transition work properly. This ARTICLE goes into detail on the handles.

  Do any of these situations have something to do with what you are experiencing?

  If not, can you post a screen-cap, showing Clips, to which you are having problems with crossfade Transitions, and tell us exactly what you did, before the addition of the Transition?

  Hi again,

  I'm having hard time putting the transition of 'doors' between my clips - have zoomed in and there is no small clips between the two. If I don't have the right to additional frameworks (or handles) after trimming clips, is it possible to fix?

  P.S. I can actually put the transition, but other frames, I will not arise even if I trimmed and removed and bridged the gap between clips!

  Not to put words mouth anyones, but I think I saw what is described here, and that I could never understand, or fix it.

  You will place a Transition between the 2 two clips and all purpose and intent, the Transition works as it should.

  But for some reason when the Transition plays, you will see in the Transition frames that were trimmed in the Clip (or should not be there).

  You can continue to cut both sides of the Clips, but garbage executives continue.

  I think that's what means the original post... correct me if I'm wrong...

• ADJUSTMENT EFFECTS AND TRANSITIONS

  I want to adjust the settings for a transition - as do a "wipe" have a soft edge, instead of a hard.

  Everything is normal and you have no border width and color, et al.

  The recovery of the Transition, you are not scroll down far enough... look to the right and the scroll at the top of the vertical bar. Drag the bar down, I am sure 99,9999999%, you will see these options.

• Title fades not linear in MPE

  The problem:

  Anytime by EMT as the renderer, my title and graphic fades are a very steep attack. When you go into software mode, fades behave correctly. I can make up for the sudden MPE fades when using an exponentially growing alpha fade, but it's a very heavy approach have a lot of title/graphic fades, and I would ask that if other users have the same questions: maybe it's a bug MPE with some video cards? I really don't want to switch slow mode software just to have these bland perfect ;-) The problem is the same with a GTX 470 and a GTS 250 (the first officially supported - the last not supported, but it works perfectly with the hack). I have the latest Nvidia drivers installed and CS 5.52

  Moreover, you could save retouching effects of opacity as effect presets, if you wish. In this way, if you get a ramp of opacity that is trying to sort of recreate the logarithmic curve linear color space, you can quickly apply it to a clip. Keyframe just opacity on a clip, right-click on the title effect "Opacity" and select "save preset". You can set them as well incoming transitions ('anchor point') and outgoing transitions ("the anchor point of exit"). I have a few set towards the top of different lengths, for example 15 images 30 images, 60 images.

  I add an exception to an automatic activity. The process is so thin. If the time is right now, a method in the automatic activity will put something to the instance variable.

  I create a process with orsplit. The process has interacitive activities 4. In the first activity, the user can enter data.
  
  If the condition is met, the process will forward to the orsplit (activity 2 and 3 are cut). 4th activity is when the join icon.
  If the condition is not met, the process will go to the 2nd activity, the 3rd and 4th activity.
  
  However, the system shows that: 4 rd activity belongs to the main stream and has an incoming transition to another type of flow (orsplit) which comes from the activity 3.
  
  I do not add a transition from inside the activity because the transition is conditional.

  Hello

  You would use a Split or if you want to have multiple conditional transitions that come out of the activity or split. Each of the conditional transitions that come out of the split or fires (which means a copy of the original instance variable flows through them) if the conditional transition is evaluated as true. Behaves exactly like a Split, except that the separation may have several unconditional transitions that come out of the separation (which still has the fire) and the split or cannot have an unconditional conversion. This an unconditional transtiion is triggered only if all conditional transitions that come out of the split or evaluate as fake and do not run.

  I'm not sure that I completely understand you scenario, but here are a few rules you need to know when you are modeling activities or Split. These same rules apply when you use Split and multiple activities:

  1. in your scenario, I think you have two activities between the Split or and join activity corresponding (I think activities 2 and 3 in your example). You can't come in these activities directly outside of the split or transitions / Join model (activities 1 and 4 in your example). Activities within a Split or and his join cannot have that transitions from them is the activity or split or other activities inside the slot or / Join model.

  2. on the other hand, you can't have transitions between activities within a Split or / Join (again - activities 2 and 3 in your example) directly to activities outside the split or / Join activity template. Activities within a Split or and his join cannot have that transitions to the join or other activities inside the slot or / Join model.

  If any of these rules are violated or Split, Split or multiple activities, you get a moment of conception (not a runtime) error that will be displayed in the tab.

  Add a connector allows to bypass one of these rules. A connector is simply a placeholder for an activity in a process to avoid crossing the lines of transition or have extremely long lines of transition. If you add a connector to two activities 2 or 3 and then you add a transition on the connector, it is exactly the same as if you added a transition directly to the activity. You will have the same design time error if one of the rules set out here are violated when a transition is added to a connector.

  Hello, I'm currently adding a transition that I established in sequelae. The transition was recorded with an alpha channel, but has a certain element that is in color that I would leave it isolated. I tried different keys and mattes, but I have finally hit the wall and can't find other ideas.

  OK, it's easier in After Effects, but if you want to do first, here's a way to do it (Note: there are many ways to skin a cat and there may be a better way than that, but that's how I'd do).

  First of all, you must jump in After Effects and make two new versions of your "Swirl".

  Be the whirlpool as you have it now but the black area must also be transparent - you need the black box so that Matt will transport transparency it but also outside the blue and green zones:

  And you need to make a version where just the area that is black is became white and the rest of the image is black:

  I have a bunch of movies that will need the same transitions intro and outro, is there a way to save the transitions as an element so I can just copy and past them in quickly?

  You can save short assemblies and projects with transitions between dummy clips.  You could then copy and paste into a new project and replace the dummy clips without affecting transitions.  Drag the new video on the model so the green '+' sign shows and then select "replace".

  Hello ATR.  On my Mac first elements 11 mode Expert, Transitions gives me a menu drop-down with these twelve categories, each with a choice that it contains: 3D Motion, dissolve, Iris, NewBlue 3D Explosions elements, NewBlue Transformations items, items of mixtures of NewBlue, NewBlue Motion blends elements, Page Peel, photo wipes, Slide, wipe and Audio Transitions.

  The menu header instructs users to drag & drop one of these transitions between clips.  When you drag one of these managed transitions, a small dialog box will appear asking you if the transition must be applied at the end of the previous element between the clips, or at the beginning of the item from.  Also, I tried by dragging one of the transitions directly on a clip and it appears a small arrow in the header of the item in the timeline showing the existence of a transition.  One can also drag its own BMP file from a Finder window directly in the Timeline itself and the file is immediately formed.

  But I'm still learning how to integrate my own mask.

• Dragging to the timeline transitions work in first 11 elements?

  If you drag a transition in the timeline panel, between two clips, until you release the mouse button, you can place it on the left, centered or right of clips (the cursor looks like a kind of flag and changes according to the position between the clips).

  Theoretically, this should be the same to change the alignment in the Transitions settings dialog box but it does not work for me, whenever I release the mouse button, selects between Clips alignment.

  I read Adobe Premiere elements 11 classrooms in a book and Chapter 7 creating Transitions, it is said "in software testing used when writing this lesson, which you removed the transition did not affect the alignment shown in the Transition settings... dialog box.»

  It seems that this feature has not been improved since first elements 11 has been tested.

  I should be ready soon to publish my links to very detailed information on the transitions video and audio of Premiere Elements.

  But the immediate report...

  If I have two video clips cut on the timeline of 11 items first and I drag the video transition left curtain Clip, between the Clips, or right Clip, Transition adjustments pop-up will be displayed. I find no cases yet where I can stop to appear with the placement of the transition. And, in the circumstances described (2 cup clips), auto "align on" will be between the clips, and that alignment will not change when I click on adjustments of Transition Pop - Up.

  This is in accordance with the instructions from Adobe who published what to expect for the alignment of the transition for the clips trimmed and uneducated.

  If I wanted video Clip alignment Clip left or right, I would have to have chosen this option until I clicked over to the pop-up.

  Do you see something very different than when you do the same thing with trimmed video clips and video transitions in items 11 first?

• Photoshop elements 14 transition LR6

  I've been a professional photographer for the past 30 years, using PE since version 2.  Now retired, I can't get into photography in a much larger way.  a few questions: is LR the right next step?  I understand that most common adjustments can be made in LR, but PE editor can handle more sophisticated editsI currently use ss14 and have tags keyword extended, as well as people tags, tags of event and location.  will be all that data imported into LR?  If I start with LR is the ss14 Organizer is no longer used, but the same functionality is available in LR?  Once I have started using LR will be the organizer of the EP is more synchronized when new images are imported into LR? Facial recognition of ss14 features is available in LR to assist with marking?  Thank you

  I have noticed that there is a situation where Adobe has an absolutely terrible choice of words. If you read the title of the instructions on the link given "Automatically import photos from Photoshop Elements to Lightroom", you will feel that you import pictures PES in Lightroom. Be aware that there is no involved imports! None! Zero! If you read further, you will see that you use the command to file menu-> upgrade Photoshop elements catalog with Lightroom. Ago as nothing "automatic" on this issue, you must issue an order to get there, it does not happen by itself. So, please don't try to import your PSE photos in Lightroom, it's the wrong thing to do.

• \b in the transition from text to text elements. How to get just the plain text?

  I use C++ FDK and get TextItems with FTI_String from the active document. But the text in the text elements contains characters that do not appear in the text. For example, \b. What is this character and how can I get only the plain text without any character of metadata of FrameMaker.

  I think you could see tabs. Presented as an escape sequence, \b translates the BACKSPACE (0x08) ASCII character. For some reason, that's how the tabs are represented when you get the text of a document with the API. You expect to show that \t or ASCII 0 x 09, but they did not.

  There is no way to avoid retrieving a character entered by the user when you F_ApiGetText(). You must simply do a search and replace once you have the string in your code.
