incompatibility 364XL cartridge.

Is it true that the 364XL cartridge does not enter a printer B110? Key pod at the rear plastic does not match setting up one, or one provided in a combo pack.

Can I get around this by cutting the leg?

Thanks for the reply. I also found another forum, where it was confirmed that two of the cartridge versions here. Amazon has been quick to replenish the correct.

  • C6380 all-in - one Printer & 364XL cartridges

I have a C6380 all-in-one printer and have purchased historically 364 cartridges standard for the colors Cyan, Magenta, yellow and black Photo, with a 364XL for black color in standard.

I want to buy the XL cartridges for all colors because they are more economical.  However, looking at the housing of the cartridge in the printer, it doesn't look like there is room for all of the other color cartridges is greater.  Before that I buy them, so I want to check if the printer is capable of using all the XL cartridges at the same time.

Does anyone know if we can?

    Hello

The C6380 should accept 364XL color cartridges too. You will find that even if there is a lot more ink in it the cartridge is physically the same size and will adapt to the printer

  • 364XL cartridges do not match my Photosmart printer 7520

I recently bought replacement ink cartridges for my printer Phtotsmart 7520 (all 364 XL).  I used the HP tool to make sure that I found the correct cartridges, and according to what I read (also on the cartridge packaging) they should adapt my printer.  However when I try to install them they do not match.  They seem to be too fat for the holder.  I see that the cartridges have been designed in 2010, but the impression outside the box has a brand of author date date 2013 - so be greater to 2010 - kind must adapt.  What Miss me?

    Thank you

OK - I've solved the problem - user stupidity! I tried to put the black cartridge in the slot of the picture. It does not work!

  • The size of cartridges 364XL changed?

I always use 364XL cartridge in my Photosmart C6380.

So I have 1 or 2 spare part.

Last week, I bought a new 364XL and apparently it's much closer, then he used to be.

Before it took almost all the space and now I think it is the same size as a normal 364 cartridge.

The size has been changed and if so is it contain the same amount of ink?

  • Cartridges for Photosmart C309g.

The printer is Photosmart C309g.  The documentation does not make clear if the printer takes 364XL cartridges.

The box of the printer is delivered suggests the two.

The quick start guide has a sticker with 364 only on that.

The HP Web site gives two answers according to the route: 364 both 364XL will work, 364 or, except for black when it may be a 364XL

Help on the software information doesn't say anything about that...

The User Guide is not that...

    Hi @Hootsmon,

Welcome to the Forums of HP Support!

I see that you are curious about a replacement for printer HP Photosmart 6520. I'd be happy to help you and don't forget to come back to this thread and check "Accept as Solution", if I have successfully helped solve you the problem. If you want to say 'Thank you' to my effort to help, click on the "thumbs up" to give me a Kudos.

In general, I think after five years HP may terminate some older products to make room for new products. This does not mean that these older products are considered as obsolete. When a product reaches the mark of ten years from the date of introduction, that would be what they consider obsolete. This would mean that HP is unable to develop new drivers for the new technological advances.

That being said, your printer is not obsolete and I see drivers available for your printer on Windows 10. Click here for Photosmart HP 6520 e-all-in-one printer full feature software and drivers.

If you wish to discuss new products, please contact sales of HP.

  • HP 364XL ink cartridge performance

    Hello

I find it really frustrating when you buy replacement cartridges for the performance is never made clear on your changing? I guess the SM596EE from HP's higher performance, but your store site Suresupply fails to tell you that my hypothesis is based on the price.  Why not give clear markings of performance on your pacakging I see the frustration of consumers on different websites to complain that they buy what they think is a reasonable priced at replacement of your choice but then find the performance is so small that it push and then to not compatible brand cheaper!

My questions are what is the official return of each batch? and what are the correct references you place your order?

Regular size black has a yield of 250 and the colors are each 300.

If you can open the links I've included, you can find the answers to these questions, get the product numbers and prices. Welcome to the HP store< simply="" search="" the="" 364="" cartridges.="">

  • Black cartridge HP 364XL for Photosmart C309g

I have a Photosmart premium C309g all-in and ordered a new black cartridge numbered HP364XL (code CN684EE). It is the code given by consumables HP but differs from the black cartridge, I already have and gives you a message when printing it is incompatible? There is a clear difference in size?

How can ensure me that I will order the right cartridge?

I had spare ink put in the printer & even if full, now it prints nothing.

I want to order HP ink cartridges but want to make sure that my printer is not blocked for the HP ink cartridges work.

Anyway to clean the old ink? Or I'll be fine with the new HP ink without worrying?

I released the heads & wiped them down, but still no black ink of the replacement cartridge.

Hoping that the machine is not broke so I don't waste money on the HP cartridge.

The quality of spare parts supplies varies greatly.  According to the ink that you had the printhead can be permanantely blocked.  You could try to soak the printhead, as described in this post.

  • Photosmart HP 5510 fails to print with the nine 364XL black ink cartridge

The black cartridge HP 364 "SETUP" origin has worked well and I bought a black cartridge HP364XL via the HP Web site.

I installed the HP364XL this morning, but he is unable to leave the necessary ink on the pages.

The cartridge seems to be OK and there is no error message.  The paper passes through the usual way, but fate with no print on it.  The date on the box is September 2014, this is not out of date.

I tried to find what the problem is.  I checked the cartridge is correctly installed and it seems to have ink inside.   I tried to print using the black cartridge again and again with different parameters, such as 'Fast draft' and 'Normal', but every time the paper emerges with no impression.  The 'supply levels' shows the black cartridge about 90% full.

This is normally caused by the vent on the top of the cartridge being blocked, or a dirty print head. The document below will help you work out the problem. Let me know what happens.

  • C310A: is the slimline 564 black cartridge? You need to replace the 364-setup. 364XL is too fat.

My C310A has worked perfectly as a network printer and photocopier
13 months with a heavy workload on the side of the copy.  I had bought a
number of packs of cartridges HP original and replaced a couple.  The
Install black cartridge is still there but with very little ink in there then
When photocopying started to fade today I went to install a new 364
cartridge.  Blacks only I have are all XL which does not fit
in the installation location.  Were included in the packs I bought three CYM
Slimline cartridges and a black XL.  I replaced the cartridge XL and
then put the black original installation in the K Groove to get things
work.  Were reported as 'missing or damaged '.  Color copy
has worked as before with virtually no black which implies that XL Black
was ignored.  So I tried to copy 'black', but which is released
empty.  Can I threw a black XL perfect condition.

I have two questions, at least.  The XL slot is black only
impression or can it provide ink for the printing of color as well?  Secondly,.
where the United Kingdom can you get 364 slimline black cartridges?  All the
online stores seem to stock XL only Variant.

In response to myself.  Had a closer look at available online thecartridges and find a supplier for the black photo.  There the black symbol of the can on it.  Meanwhile, I reinstalled the new black print cartridge (the wideer one) and was able to print a complete report.  Tried a color photocopy and black came fine, which seems to show that the black cartridge IS used in photo printing.

Again, I am impressed.  This is a fantastic printer.  I've always liked HP (16 years and a half dozen printers) and particularly for their copy Linux supports.  They keep HPLIP right up-to-date.

  • Incompatibility of HP ink cartridges

I have a HP Deskjet 9800 printer, purchased in the USA about 5 years ago.    It uses HP 96 (black) and HP (HABs) 97 ink cartridges.   I am now located in Spain and various Web sites HP tell me that these cartridges are not available, but it's HP 343 / 344 HP cartridges are compatible.   I bought a HP 344 cartridge and tried to replace my HP 97 cartridge expired with it, however my Deskjet 9800 do not recognize.   Please help me.

You will need to Contact HP to ask a "regionalization Reset." Do not charge for this, it is covered under the warranty of the cartridge. You will need to have access to your computer and printer then on line with HP. You will also need to have a set of cartridges for the new region, once completed reset cartridges of region of origin no longer works.  Webpage of HP on the subject is here.

  • E-all-in-one printer, HP Deskjet 3520: HP Deskjet 3520 printer with black cartridge 364

I tried to insert a 364 black cartridge in the printer. The 364XL black fits perfectly, but the 364 ordinary cartridge seems to be too narrow to fit.

Am I stupid? Is there a technique for the Assembly of the 364 cartridge?

    Help please.

The regular black cartridge must be installed in the center of the space, with an equal distance on each side.

Additionally, make sure that you use the black cartridge 364 (with the symbol of the Pentagon) rather than the Photo-364 (with the butterfly or butterfly knot symbol).  The photos below show the 564 cartridge, but is the same for the 364.

364 black cartridge has a Pentagon on the cartridge but a circle on the box...  The Photo cartridge has a butterfly on the cartridge and a camera on the box node.

  • 5520 photosmart all-in-in-one: Photosmart 5520 inkjet cartridges

I tried to order a cartridge 364xl, but preserved site showing 301 I bought.  I don't think it's the right cartridge - can someone tell me if I can use it?

    Hello

Depending on where you bought your printer, the number could be 364 or 564 (city XL). 364 is for 5520 printers purchased in Western Europe, not 301.

364 cartridges are very popular, you should be able to find them in your country.

    Kind regards.
