Incorrect tracking object 3D camera track

Track of the camera works!

However, I have a problem that I hope you can help with.  I try a video to a null of parents object but it does not instead the video tracks a person moving in the shot for some weird reason, even when the parent is set to 'none '.   It works quite well when I create a solid or a text.  I feel like there must be something very simple that I'm missing.

Thank you!

This does not sound like a glitch, it sounds like user error caused by small misunderstanding of the works of the tracking camera. The only thing the camera tracker adds to keyframes are the camera. It calculates the angle of view, the camera position and camera movements. When you take markers they need to be in the same plane as the object in the scene. For example, if you had a few markers followed on an object that was 4 feet in front of the camera and a few other markers on an object that was 20 feet from the camera and allowing you this markers to add a solid and a solid camera wouldn't fit to objects in the scene, it would float between them and probably look a little weird. Also be careful of lens distortion because the AE camera is ideal. Camera, followed by a GoPro without removed fisheye can give you a good track in the center of the image, but that objects move to the edge track fail because the lens distortion. For shots with a lot of lens distortion, you must remove it first, before dialing or to make a DI (digital intermediate) and then a camera follow still images.

There is no difference between adding a null value or adding a text layer or a solid. If you have chosen and positioned your target a 3D layer will be added to the stage and he will stick to the surface you have chosen. Parenting something to a value of null or anything else added to the scene with the Tracker of the camera do not put that object in the right place in the scene. Only use real parents when you set up your scene would be to add a new 3D layer and then hold down the SHIFT key while you the parent to the layer (your null) so that it fits the right position in 3D space. If you want to move in the scene, you need to move in the space X Y or Z in the new position, keeping in mind the positioning of the layer, as if she was in front of the camera.

I hope this helps.

    Hi all, thanks for helping me with this.

    After you run the 3D Tracker and the creation of any object and camera.  The angle of the camera moves as the original video moves as well.  I want the camera to stay still instead of tilt angle of the video.

    Your screenshot is Aussie bad quality that I can't really tell exactly what you're doing, but looks like you're not understanding what the tracker of the camera is, or how it works. First of all, the video layer must be 2D. You have changed the video layer 3D and it would never work. Tracker camera recreates a camera inside the AE that corresponds to circulation, the focal length and the position of the camera to film the scene. Camera Tracker provides a way for you to create a ground plan and original that align to a starting point in 3D space of AE so the global center of the model is aligned with a geometry in the plan. Camera Tracker of the AE does not match lens distortion, so if you keep track of the shooting was shot with a lens wide angle and there is a lot of distortion so you must remove this distortion before follow-up or the edges of your 3D objects will drift as the camera moves unless they are located in the center of the photo that is free from distortion.

    I don't know what you're trying to accomplish with your shot. Looks like you followed the middle section of the video and the fact that the 3D layer. It would never work. The normal procedure would be to add a camera and a null value or a solid or a text composition. Then the 3D layers will be stick to shooting perfectly if there is no significant lens distortion.

    Please explain in detail exactly what you're trying to do and if you don't ccreencaptures put it on YouTube using full HD will give us something we can see better. It would have helped if there was audio on your video explaining what you were trying to do.

    Please enter Tracker camera find help in the upper right of the AE and study up on the functioning of the tool.

  • Object removal/hiding in AE

    Based on a proposal, I am come this post of Premiere Pro.

    The condensed version of my problem:

    I asked for the best method to remove the droppings of birds with a Pavilion roof in a unmanned aerial vehicle video I shot. I was directed to this excellent tutorial 'chinfat': After Effects CC 2014 Tutorial - 3D camera Tracking and removal of the object - YouTube

    Here is my result:

    Thanks j. Simon... He did and it didn't.

    The tutorial is very well done and seems pretty easy to follow. I sent the clip to AE, complete step "track camera" as was done in the tutorial, created the solid and the camera, exported a frame to ch, corrections to the upper canopy of the gazebo, sent the image to the AE and it merged with the solid. Unfortunately, unlike his video where the window rest frame simply in place, my awning would not. As and the clip, the 'new' canopy high with the camera. I watched this video, a dozen times or more, and could never understand what I did wrong.

    Frustrated, I started above square, but ran into a wall after the stage of the "trail camera. Once the scan is complete, an error appeared: 3D Camera Tracker: size of layer must match composition and use default values for transformation.  Therefore, any point of the track have been created. I ran into the same wall several times, and then he threw in the towel.

    For later use, that I would like to know what I was doing wrong (IE, why don't the solid does not stay in place) and what is happening with this weird error message?

    Thank you.

    If you have a perspective of change in the object you want to replace that changes significantly the view of this object then you must replicate this change of perspective in your replacement image. You said:

    As and the clip, the 'new' canopy high with the camera.

    Makes me think that your aerial shooting starts low so the canopy is seen from the front so the shot moves upwards, you can see the sides and the top of the canopy. If this is the case, you will need to create a 3D model more complex of the canopy, then you can follow the camera.

    You could also mean that the canopy does not stick to the gazebo. This means that your path was good or that you have chosen the bad points on the surface.

    This is where the screenshots would help. I think that the replacement roof does not stick to the gazebo.

    A step which was left aside in the tutorial of good but not perfect was the first step in creating a plan for mass and origin. The second part of the tutorial that may give a false impression, it's that he didn't select enough points on the plan to get exactly the target. If you followed his technique to get a target who has been close to looking like it has been aligned with the plan or the surface you were trying to replace then turned solid so she looked like she was the plan that you were probably out of alignment. To align a solid with a plane you should only rotate about the Z axis. If you need to adjust the X, Y and Z then the follow-up of target are not aligned with the plane. You can get a better alignment of selection of the points until you get the plane to match the drop target. Then after you create the plan, you must check the track to ensure that it holds for it together. If it doesn't hold or stick to the surface and then you have not selected the right drawpoints or you do not have a good track.

    You also said that it was of arial images. If it was a quad copter with a GoPro or another camera action then the film is probably warped. This will result to problems when you perform the Camera Tracking in AE AE cameras have perfect lenses. The lens distortion will shake track and cause extreme problems like the object is close to the border of the frame. The solution to this problem is to remove the lens distortion. GoPro Studio has the ability to remove a fisheye and it does a pretty good job. My solution to this kind of problem is to export images from the GoPro uncorrected as a sequence of images can use Lightroom to eliminate lens distortion using their lenses profiles or profiles that I created using a graph of the lens distortion.

    Here are the steps to replace the subject perfect using AE camera tracker.

    1. Plan your photos with limits of perspective and examined the Parallax
    2. Carefully the film suddenly
    3. Necessary to make plates own so you can remove objects from the scene
    4. Choose the photo you want to use and define your best estimate in points, then add a few images to each so that you can cut out the changes
    5. Export images, so you can request the correction of the objective
    6. Camera follow your film corrected
    7. Define an original plan and the ground and make sure that it is good in all of the shooting by adding a new layer of 3D solid from the scene, turning 90 degrees in X and seeing if she keeps track with the scene (by adding a grid to that solid will help)
    8. Choose track points on the surface you want to replace and add a solid with camera Tracker
    9. Check to make sure that this solid tracks perfectly
    10. Turn the replacement solid so that the horizontal or vertical edges line up with the surface you want to replace.
    11. Find the frame where the surface you want to replace is also great that it'll be in the loop and export that frame to Photoshop for editing
    12. Make your editing, cut or crop the PSD so that only the visible surface or give yourself some room so that you can roto edges
    13. Replace solid with the replacement surface in the model
    14. Correction of distortion to the replacement surface that are necessary because of the perspective Exchange or parallax with corners tools

    That's basically it if you use a fixed image. If you do the replacement of surface using another section of the video that moves so you would use a projection map, but that's another topic.

    I hope this helps. Looks like when you resorted the track camera that something had changed. If you have a track with success once, then you should be able to do it again if you start from scratch with a model that has been created by selecting the clip in your project Panel new comp from selection. As I said earlier, if there is no distortion of the important goal, it is better to delete this before, then cut the shooting, what can be done in the film window, before you start.

    If you want more help then post the shot or give us more details about what you want to do.

  • Rigging diff. cam movements as presets for use in FCPX?

    Say, I would like to create a simple generator, for example a Cube.

    And I would like to allow the user to select from a menu drop-dwn a few 'options of movement', of the camera (!)

    for example "scanning l/r", "Overview", "hero Shot"...

    So, I do all keyframes, but different movements are available via a platform...

    How to accomplish this?

    Hi Karsten!

    I've tried a few things. Here's an easy way:

    Create a new pop up rig.

    Add the camera Position and Rotation to the test.

    The value of Snapshot 1

    Move the playhead to the beginning of the project (or the starting position)

    Activate the button Save in the playback controls.

    Select the object, the camera will focus on in the layers list.

    REPEAT: Move the playback cursor and use the controls of the camera on the screen to adjust the display.

    Disable the button Save.

    Set the next snapshot...

    You can clean the movement in the keyframe Editor. Select the snapshot. Right click on the parameter names in the bench and show in key Editor.

    If you must start over on a snapshot, click the parameter names in the bench and select Reset settings.

    so, there is a signal of cameraResourceReleased which you can listen to that will tell you that the camera has been arrested.

    After that, you can restart the viewfinder after your application is in the foreground.

    We have a corner case that we are still working on what centers around the case when the screen starts to close (causing the camera to stop), but the user he wakes up before the browser tells your application in the background.  In this case, you may not receive a leading event.  You can probably work around this case by launching a timer and check, after a second or two, if the application has been deleted original or not... If it is still in the foreground, then you could try restart the viewfinder

    See you soon,.

  • Mocha AE - wrong to paste the data of 3-d rotation

    Hello

    I use Mocha AE (v4.0.2) to follow a few logos for the replacement in AE (v13.6.1.6).

    I did a logo in Mocha, but when I try to paste the data to a 3D null object, I get only a few keyframes rotation nervous Z - without keyframes of rotation X or Y.

    The keys to position and scale images stick across fine.

    Is this a known bug or anything like that? Any help would be great.

    Thank you

    Mocha AE has no tracking 3D features. Mocha's planar tracker. She ensures the follow-up of surfaces and the evolution of their point of view in 2D space. Your workflow is incorrect. If you want to follow the evolution of the perspective and to replace something like a logo in a coup you should export data from code confidential corner. There is no data to paste 3D. If you get an unstable rotation, then your track in Mocha is not accurate. There is no need to paste mocha, data tracking to a 3D layer, because there is no 3D data.

    After effects has a tracker of the camera which will extract the 3D scene data and add a camera that closely corresponds to the position of the camera and the lens that was used to create the shot. If the original camera has many typical distortion of consumer cameras with wide angle lenses, you must correct this distortion before you use the camera Tracker or track will be incorrect because the AE camera has no lens distortion.

  • Photo and video capture in a single application QML

    Hello everyone

    Currently, I am learning to use the camera QML, and I already get to open the camera back, put a few cameraSettings and take a picture.

    Now, I would like to add functions of video to this same application. I mean, I want to add a photo/video toggle button and switch between photo and video modes. The thing is that I do not know how. I guess I need a second part of the camera, but the truth I have no idea how can I achieve this goal.

    I really appreciate your help and I hope you to let me know which is the approach you have taken to do what I want to do. All link tutorial or documentation is also wellcome

    Thanks in advance guys!

    BestCamera is to show you how to use the C cascading camera API, since it allows you to do some things (such as face detection and burst capture) which are not available in API waterfalls photo.

    You need not two objects from camera to switch between the modes of capture, just change the mode of the camera.

    One thing that fires people upwards sometimes is the fact you need approval from microphone to record video, that you need not simple images.

  • problem using color checker passport

    Hi all

    This is probably a question of XRite, but I don't get a good response from them.

    I just bought a Canon 70 d and bought the Color Checker Passport to go with it.  I am following the video instructions on the internet who tell me:

    1. take a picture with the color of the passport card

    2. take a picture with the white balance card

    3 take a picture just of the subject.

    All images in RAW mode.

    4. open the first image in Camera Raw and save it as a .dng

    5. drag the .dng in the Color Checker application window

    6 align the small green boxes on the color card model

    7. create profile and save it in the default folder of camera profiles

    I did this correctly (I think).  Next:

    8. open all the images of the object in Camera Raw

    9. click on the camera Calibration tab

    10 pull down the menu camera profile on the camera Calibration tab

    11. Select the profile I just created with Color Checker

    This is where it goes wrong.  The profile that I created is not listed in the menu of the camera profile and I see no way to get him.  I restarted Photoshop and Bridge and tried this process several times, but no profile.

    I use Adobe CS6 and a Mac Mini with OSX 10.8.4.

    Can anyone offer any advice or tips?

    Thank you

    Kevin H.

    AHA!  I thought about it.  I just had to update Camera Raw at 8.4 and now my profiles appear in the drop-down camera profiles.

    I also tried "select * from Abc.dbo.Test@POC_HS' but oracle throws this exception" ORA-00933: not correctly completed SQL command "."

    The dblink and system DSN user account has access to database 'Abc '.

    Thoughts?

    No, this is not possible.

  • Creation of resource JDBC with WLST

    Hello
    I'm new to WSLT (and Python too, actually). I used model EPCO for a WLST to create a JDBC data source in my managed server. It is is the script:

    If __name__ == "__main__":
    from wlstModule import *.

    print ' from the script... »
    username = 'Abdel Davis.
    password = "welcome1"
    URL = "t3: / / localhost:8001'"
    Connect (username, Password, URL)

    Edit()
    startEdit()

    dsname = "TesDataSource."
    Server = "osb_server1".
    CD("Servers/"+Server)
    target = cmo
    CD("..) /..")

    Print "creating JDBCSystemResource with the name ' + dsname"
    jdbcSR = create (dsname, "TestJDBCResource")
    theJDBCResource = jdbcSR.getJDBCResource)
    theJDBCResource.setName ("TestJDBCDataSource")

    connectionPoolParams = theJDBCResource.getJDBCConnectionPoolParams)
    connectionPoolParams.setConnectionReserveTimeoutSeconds (25)
    connectionPoolParams.setMaxCapacity (100)
    connectionPoolParams.setTestTableName ("SELECT * FROM DUAL")

    dsParams = theJDBCResource.getJDBCDataSourceParams)
    dsParams.addJNDIName ("ds.test")

    driverParams = theJDBCResource.getJDBCDriverParams)
    driverParams.setUrl ("jdbc:oracle:thin:@localhost:1521:XE")
    driverParams.setDriverName ("oracle.jdbc.xa.client.OracleXADataSource")

    driverParams.setPassword ("debu")

    driverProperties = driverParams.getProperties)

    user name = driverProperties.createProperty ("user")

    userName.setValue ("debu")

    dbName = driverProperties.createProperty ("DatabaseName")

    dbName.setValue ("XE")

    jdbcSR.addTarget (target)

    Save()
    Activate (Block = "true")

    Print "made the configuration of the data source.

    Running the script generated this error:

    To view the types of children that you can create, use listChildTypes().

    Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?

    Hi Abdel Davis,

    Try to do the following

    server='osb_server1'
    cd("Servers/"+server)
    target=cmo
    cd("../..")

    Remove the block above your WLST Script, it looks like the problem the current INCORRECT management object as the error operating system indicates also the same.
    «WLSTException: error occurred when executing create: failed to create type MBean TestJDBCResource.» You can only create children of the current CMO MBeans. "

    Please see the script which is very similar to your script below:

    Subject: Creation of DataSource WLST with encrypted password
    http://middlewaremagic.com/WebLogic/?p=1400

    * #Additionally *.

    I also suggest you have a look at the scripts below that would make you employment, check them out.

    Subject: Creation of WebLogic DataSource using WLST and the properties file
    http://middlewaremagic.com/WebLogic/?p=4751

    Subject: Creation of multiple DataSource with WLST properties file
    http://middlewaremagic.com/WebLogic/?p=6248

    These WLST scripts require no modification/alteration in real WLST scripts these scripts use properties files, changes made in the properties file so without touching the real scripts due to which it becomes really easy to manage/modify WLST scripts.

    Kind regards

  • from MPG (Windows) in the format MOV (Mac) - get a reading of nervousness

    Short version: I have videos of nervousness after moving them to a Mac and the creation of a DVD.

    Long version:

    I have a large number of videos in MPEG format, rendered family in Sony Vegas on a Windows machine. They are 720 x 480, 29.97 FPS, 48000KHz.

    I'm trying to move things a Mac and find that Mac don't like mpgs. So, I used Adobe Media Encoder (CS4, in Windows) to convert several for QuickTime (mov) files, using the default settings for QuickTime - DV NTSC:

    Video: 720 x 480. 29.97 FPS, low

    Audio: 48000 kHz, stereo, 16-bit.

    Everything seems fine (although I am amazed how much more the mov files after conversion). They play fine on my screen, under Windows or Mac.

    The problem is when I finally do them in a DVD of still (still CS4) on my Mac. The videos play very unstable on television. It is not too visible when there is no action, but in a scene that moves a lot, it starts to hurt the eyes and head to watch. To make sure it wasn't a problem with the original files, I made the same DVD again using the original files on my Windows machine and it plays nice and smooth.

    I use the default conversion settings in Encore. I wonder if something is creating the jitter.

    Should I convert to a different file in the first place type? Are there any other settings I need to check? Any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

    What CODEC MOV did you use?

    I'm also surprised that Mac still cannot use 100% compatible MPEG-2 DVD, because they are the "bricks" of DVD-video, regardless of the platform. That's what the Mac has to write. Conversion from MPEG-2 to any other format and then transcoding MPEG-2 will show the questions, in particular with the movement, object or camera. It's like a FAX, a fax - never going to be as good as the original, printed DOC on the Laserjet Printer.

    It could be a better flow of export production of PrPro (PC) as a MOV [Animation] CODEC and then let another Mac Transcode the MPEG-2. I'm just not in place on that like the Mac better still, so may be all wet here.

    Yet as more Mac can make 100% compatible MPEG-2 DVD, I can't imagine that they would be problematic for the program.

    Good luck

  • latency of the live broadcast

    How to reduce latency of live streaming.

    What bandwidth, memory is needed to reduce the live broadcast

    I will be 6-7 seconds of difference in direct straeming.

    Until I tell you how to set the flow to end Publisher let me make one thing clear, the settings that I said in my previous post are subscribed end and not at the end of the editor.

    Now go back to your question editor for flow control:

    To do at the entry-level camera: use Camera.setQuality ().

    Let's say now that you want to set 20 Kbps - you must use cam.setQuality (20480,0)

    Play also around other properties of object to camera to get a better quality of food.

    Having said that if you use Web cam, it is not that you can do, I mean that you will not be able to very high speed of the pump.

    Hope this helps
