Incredible trouble with two A10 S203 network!
I had two Satellite A10-S203. This mobile are configured to operate on Microsoft network (wired network) with the working group. Have a different IP, name, MAC addresses, and same workgroup. To the network to work about 15 computers. When I connect to the network from one of them his works very well with the network. If I replace the previous book to second it's job well too. But when I connect both at the same time to the network I got hurt. One work, second cannot send pockets but can receive them. When this two laptops are connected to some other network computers sometimes hangs up.
This portable work very well no but together do not work in the same network.
I checked the configuration of these hundreds of times and it's ok they can see and browse the net when are linked separately. Thought is it net card MAC addresses conflict but it isn t.
Can someone help me with this?

You are quite right TomaszE, very cryptic your problem!
But what is the subnet mask of the network? Also identical on all machines?
Have you tried to change the IPS of the two laptop, just intended to test?
All are machine have static ip addresses, or runs a dhcp server in the system?
What about firewalls installed? Some programs have a blacklist of ip addresses that are blocked permanently to do anything on the network.
Please give me more information

Hello
I had this problem as well before. After Windows starts the video reset Resets the video output to LCD screen instead of external monitor. Once this is the case try to use the Fn + F5. If this does not work, you might be able to start and press F8, once it gives you the windows selection menu go to safe mode. Once there go to video properties and change the default settings for the external monitor and try to restart normally. Should do wonders. Hope this helps, if not let me know.

Replace a XP computer with another XP computer in a peer-to-peer network with two other computers. became terribly frustrating. I spent a day and a half by train to get there. I know MS wants everyone to buy their new OS, but I can't afford it right now. In the meantime, I'm trying to add a computer to my existing peer-to-peer network. I have never had so much trouble. I can not get computers to eachother Duke on the network.
Over the past 3 years I have implemented each of the existing computers. I'm familiar with the silly quirks of this operating system (i.e. a few hours waiting see if eventually the computers will warm up to each other and decide to play nice together). All computers are able to connect to the internet through the same router connection, and I was able to get each of the computers to see one another, but not all, but none of the computers is to see the new computer. (The new computer is connected to ONE of the other computers, but stopped doing and do again it). Is there a simple step by step to do this? I don't care even if I can't not all computers on the network as a whole, I would like to just the computer I replace to see the computer I replace by in order to obtain the transferred files and get back to work.
I appreciate sincerely ANY help ANYONE can offer.

I my house wired with ethernet and have logged as many devices via cat5e as possible. My problem is when I try to connect together the two apple airport extreme base stations and use the second to extend my network I lose the internet connection. I am able to extend without problems via radio, but since I plugged in the House tried to take advantage of the fastest method by cable.
Here's my network setup in a nut shell.
In the basement, I have my router from Verizon Fios (gateway 80211n) currently configured to provide all the space an Ip address via dhcp (disabled wireless)
Gigabit ethernet port 8 wired via gigabit switch through the cable between the bridge Fios and port 1 of the switch.
two iMacs wired directly the fios gateway ports 2 and 3
Base station extreme elementary apple (call it down at the moment) connected to the Fios bridge
Extreme basestation secondary apple related to extreme primary apple base station
Cable to switch TV
Nintendo Wii connected to the switch U
Apple TV connected to the switch
Drive Blu - ray connected to the switch
My mainly the Airport extreme is configured as follows
connect via DHCP
Address of the router is set to the Fios router
FOR DNS, I used back free servers like Google, and level 3
Wireless is set to create a wireless network
Security is set to WPA2 Personal
Turned on 5 GHz and 2.4 and 5 ghz are set to automatic
Router mode is set to bridge mode off
Second or first floor Airport extreme config
Connect using dhcp
Address of the router is also the Fios router
Servers DNS is empty
Wireless settings
Network is set to extend a wireless network
the wireless network name reflects my network
wpa2 personal wireless security game
Network
Router mode is grayed out and pondered or bridge mode
Second or first floor Airport extreme config...
.. . Network is set to extend a wireless network
Given that all routers are interconnected by Ethernet, you don't want to configure AirPort Extreme to "Extend a wireless network." This option should be used only if the connection between the wireless base stations. Instead, the two base stations must be configured to "create a wireless network. This is because that, with them all connected by Ethernet, you have the basis for a network of mobile type.
With this type of network, each router will broadcast their own Wi - Fi network, but because they will all use the same network name (SSID) and use the same type of wireless security and the password, all the wireless clients will see them as network «one»

Configure two Ports on an ASA5510 with 2 different inside networks
How can I configure two ports on an ASA5510 (version 8.4 (5)) or with 2 different inside networks out interface or two inside and two on the inside outside routing to an outside and inside another for the rest outdoors?
Specifically, I had all three interfaces with dhcp and basic configuration of all, I got one (10.1.0.0) inside out successfully from the internet (208.83.73.193 for example), but I'm not sure of the second internal interface (192.168.1.0) out to the internet.
I need VPN or any connection between the two internal networks.
This is the basic configuration of may:

I tried to configure nat for the guest network the same way that I have it set to the 10.1.0.0 network and also nat static and that it did not work (maybe I did wrong).
If get this accomplished is possible I would very much apreciate a configuration example of what do I do
Help, please
I also found this two articles from Cisco that applies to the ASA Version 8.3 and I guess she could apply to Version 8.4 (5), please let me know if yes:

Thank you
two inside networks to one outside is no different to a demilitarized zone and inside outwards. Both come from a security level higher and go to a lower level of security. In your case, there is the second inside network for guest users, I would use a lower level of security as the guest network is probably not as trustworthy as the internal network.
The second requirement (two inside and two outside) would need a form of routing that the ASA does not support the way in which you want to use based on policy (there are some hacks with NAT, but it's really horrible). That you could use for this are security contexts. A context with inside1/outside1, the other context with inside2/outside2. Here, you can easily route traffic inside2 to outside2 and inside1 to outside1.

VMware device with 2 network cards claiming the same IP address with two MAC addresses
Hello.
I see messages intermittent my gateway network two MAC addresses associated with a virtual machine running on a 5.5 ESXi host for the same IP address.
The virtual machine is a MiTel 3300 controller for a VOIP system. the system is configured with two IP addresses, one on the local network and another with a public IP address in the DMZ. In the network configuration of the 3300, I assigned the address LAN IP at 00: 0C: 29:30:B2:B2 and the DMZ IP at 00: 0C: 29:30:B2:BC (Mac for network devices presented by the ESXi host virtual machine).
On the host, I configured a vSwitch with exclusive access to two physical network adapters on the host machine. The vSwitch is configured with two machine virtual port groups, LAN and DMZ, with access to the physical network interface cards. Tab grouping of groups vSwitch port NIC, I replaced the order of failover of the switch to activate an active NETWORK card only for the Group of LAN ports and the other card NETWORK only for the DMZ port group. (I don't know how the content of the column of networks is determined. Neither is correct for the traffic on the physical switch. If these are configurable, please advise and I'll change the settings). The relevant parameters of vSwitch, groups of ports and VM are distinguished below.
On the virtual machine itself, through the VMWare host, I assigned 00: 0C: 29:30:B2:B2 for the Group of LAN ports and 00: 0C: 29:30:B2:BC to the DMZ group port (best I can tell, anyway, since the MAC address field annoyingly obscures the last two digits of the MAC address - break if I invert the mapping) (, but all seems OK).
The goal here is to make sure that MACs of ports vSwitch the 3300 is listening and sending always correspond to the physical ports that are VLAN Tag by the physical switch to ensure the routing. Generally speaking, it seems that what is happening but, intermittently, we cross one-way calls that suggests a problem of routing between us and our SIP trunk provider; coinciding with these incidents, I get an email along the lines of "the security in the network device has detected a conflict of IP address with two or more devices. The period of INVESTIGATION "DMZ. DMZ. DMZ. DMZ' is claimed by the following clients with MAC addresses: ' 00: 0C: 29:30:B2:B2' ' 00: 0C: 29:30:B2:BC'. »
I did something in the configuration that would lead to this kind of collision intermittent? Have a hacked together a way to do something that could be accomplished in a way that is simpler and more reliable?
Thanks for any idea that you can offer.
Kind regards
J.
I probably don't fully understand your configuration, but it seems that you are not interested in using the collection of NETWORK adapters in the virtual switch of the VM MiTel 3300.
If it is correct, why not create two virtual switches, each with a group of port (LAN and DMZ) unique and with a separate connection of (vmnic2 and vmnic1)?
In general, collection of NETWORK adapters may be used to share traffic between uplinks and ensure that if one of the uplinks connect fails, a virtual machine still has access to the network.

This is my urgent problem:
I have a physical machine with two physical network interfaces. I have a VMWARE player and a virtual machine that must use cards on two different subnets, a public directly to the router and an intranet within the company.
How can I just say a net card to go on this submarine and the other on the public void? Go crazy. Help, please.
Thank you
P.
Use the virtual network editor VMware Player, create an additional bridged VMnet and bind each bridged to a different physical network... card VMnet on a virtual machine, create a virtual network adapter on each subnet and bind each virtual network adapter to an another VMnet jumpered.

Best practices for network configuration of vSphere with two subnets?
Well, then I'll set up 3 ESXi hosts connected to storage shared with two different subnets. I configured the iSCSI initiator and the iSCSI with his own default gateway - 192.168.1.1 - targets through a Cisco router and did the same with the hosts configured with its own default gateway - 192.168.2.2. I don't know if I should have a router in the middle to route traffic between two subnets since I use iSCSI ports linking and grouping of NETWORK cards. If I shouldn't use a physical router, how do I route the traffic between different subnets and use iSCSI ports binding at the same time. What are the best practices for the implementation of a network with two subnets vSphere (ESX host network: iSCSI network)? Thank you in advance.
Install the most common iSCSI would be traffic between hosts and
the storage is not being routed, because a router it could reduce performance.
If you have VLAN 10(192.168.1.0/24) iSCSI, VLAN 20 (192.168.2.0/24) ESX
MGMT and VLAN 30 (192.168.3.0/24) comments VMs and VLAN 40 (192.168.4.0/24)
vMotion a deployment scenario might be something like:
NIC1 - vSwitch 0 - active VMK (192.168.1.10) MGMT, vMotion VMK (192.168.4.10)
standby
NIC2 - vSwitch 1 - current (VLAN30) guest virtual machine port group
NIC3 - vSwitch 2 - active VMK1 (192.168.1.10) iSCSI
NIC4 - vSwitch 2 - active VMK2 (192.168.1.11) iSCSI
NIC5 - vSwitch 1 - current (VLAN30) guest virtual machine port group
NIC6 - vSwitch 0 - MGMT VMK (192.168.2.10) standby, vMotion
VMK (192.168.4.10) active
You would place you on VLAN 10 storage with an IP address of something like target
192.168.1.8 and iSCSI traffic would remain on this VLAN. The default value
gateway configured in ESXi would be the router the VLAN 20 with an ip address of
something like 192.168.2.1. I hope that scenario help set some options.

5.1 ESXi management no connectivity network with two network adapters connected
IBM H chassis equipped with blades HS22
Blades use Broadcom 5709 s dual gigabit NIC
ESXi 5.0, system worked very well with both NICs connected (static IP) in network management parameters (able to ping in and out). Completed the upgrade to ESXi 5.1 preserving VMFS datastore. After the reboot, management network shows two NICs connected to static IP always assigned but I have not any (impossible in our out ping) network connectivity. If I disable one of the network cards and restart the management network, I can immediately ping inside and out.
I took a spare blade and tested by passage of 5.0 to 5.1 and 5.1 installation clean, the two producers same results. A host with two active network cards 5.0 (if static IP or DHCP) can ping inside and out. A host with two active network cards 5.1 (if static IP or DHCP) can not ping in our out. 5.1 host cannot obtain DHCP address, but fails to APIPA.
I found the problem. For some reason, both switches must be actively connected on the same network for observed networks provide correct information for the collection.

Help please with two extremes and DNS
Hello
I hope someone can help.
My setup
Modem-router ADSL with WiFi turned off >
Airport extreme connected by ethernet to the Modem/Router - create a wireless network, a static IP - Bridge Mode - >
Airport extreme connected by ethernet to the Airport extreme - create a wireless - Mode Bridge >-static IP address
Both now have the status message - "no DNS - this Airport base station does´t server have a DNS server address and could have problems connecting to the Internet." If the airport is in Bridge Mode is necessary enter the DNS server (no shows at what time the DHCP value)? I should give him the address of the modem/router or real DNS I see in my modem/router settings?
Also the WiFi mode extend a wireless network is only fair for multiple extremes that extend wireless (No ethernet cable)?
Thank you
Turning off the modem/router
Power off each AirPort Extreme
Wait a minute
Turn on the modem/router and let it run for a minute
Put on single AirPort Extreme and check its status
If the first AirPort Extreme looks good, the second turns on and check its status
Report on the results
If you're still having problems...
The two extremes of the airport are working properly in the past... and this problem appeared just... or... is that what you are having trouble with a new configuration?
When you say that every AirPort Extreme has a static IP address, this means that each AirPort Extreme has been configured to request a specific IP address... or... does that mean that you have configured your modem/router to provide a specific IP address for each AirPort Extreme?
If you check the settings for each AirPort Extreme... each of them receives the static IP address that the router/modem is the assignment?

problems with Windows 7 mapping network drive
I bought a new computer to work today. It's a HP Pavilion Slimline s5220f. Works on Windows 7. All our other computers working under Windows XP. We have an external hard drive that acts as a file shared for the organization. (We are a small non-profit and rather rudimentary.)
I have problems to connect to our "shared drive" - the reader 's' - where all our shared work files are kept. I have connected a hundred times on other computers, but can't seem to get it right with Windows 7... What I do usually it is right click on the 'my computer' icon and click «map drive network...» "Then I put in '\\filecabinet\shared' and he asks a log on and password... I checked the log on and password - everything is correct. When I enter the log and password, I get a message saying that "the specified network password is not correct".
I spoke with two different people at HP. Nothing has worked. I really need access to these shared files in order to work. Help me!!
After authentication on your Windows 7 computer, is there an indication of a field in the dialog box? (If not in a domain, your computer name is represented by a colon after it.) Well, if so, your computer tries to authenticate with domainname\username instead of only User_Name. It gave me trouble when authenticating to a SAMBA file server. Try plugging a "\User_Name". Your computer name should disappear when you type the backslash.
Warning: this was tested on a Windows 7 machine company. This trick should also apply to Win 7 pro. I don't know about other editions if. -
