• Password-Limitation in InDesign Folio Builder

  I created a user DPS that has a password to 13 (a is allowed to create when you set up the account).   You are absolutely sure that change the password of the account means that your application does not see folios? I've never seen this and if this is the case, it's a bug.

  As I said before... the password is not contained within the app. change the password for the account should have no impact on whether the application can display the content. Please contact technical support and they should be able to help with this problem.

• Endless Log-In Error: Panel InDesign Folio Builder

  I've updated my folio tools/panels 1.1.9.0 and then accidentally entered the wrong username and password in the Panel of InDesign Folio Builder when I went to log back in. (the username and password have been an account of DPS Professional Edition that we suspended with Adobe in order to avoid billing during the test.)

  The inDesign Panel cycles comes constantly now. Don't give me the opportunity to re-enter the correct information. I closed/re-opened the Panel, removed / reinstalled the Panel & tools and I have deleted my inDesign preferences, but each time from the launch of the application of the Panel builder folio cycles just as seen below.   OK so your folio is downloaded and you must be logged in the Panel using a different account than the one with that you logged in to the portal.

  Wir haben auf Systemen in Windows 7 (64 bit) die neue CC2014-Suite von Adobe installed. IM Installationspaket included sind auch die DPS-Tools, welche den Desktop Content Viewer should be included.

  Wenn nun im Folio Builder von InDesign 2014 die Vorschau eines local Folios angeklickt wird kurz green message, dass der Artikel Länder wird die. Danach passiert nichts mehr.   According to Uwe, native animations are not supported in DPS.

  That's where save us our files while you build your folio. We store the files somewhere when we buliding the folio, and that's where they go. There is no way to stop it.

• Make a picture frame as a button link/navigate to InDesign Article

  I have InDesign Folio, with most of the articles created in InDesign.

  An Article's HTML slideshow created in Muse Gallery, I also want to create a picture as a button frame in this gallery (with Muse) to navigate/point to a section of InDesign. Essentially when the HTML gallery becomes an integral part of the InDesign folio. the user must be able to navigate to the home page of the folio.  It's a slide show full page created in Muse, so in InDesign user should be able to see a button to navigate to the home page.

  So if I get this correct, you want to appear a button that is linked to Indesign article in slideshow page Muse? If only to redirect users to InDesign article then you can use the composition and insert links or buttons inside the container and slide show too you can add captions and link them to documents by using the hyperlink.

  We do not support unique Edition on iPhone applications. The only type of application we support for iPhone is several question, which requires a professional account or business.

• Folio Bulder updated, but says that it is not.

  I use indesign cs6 with license creative cloud on a windows machine 7.  I don't have administrator privileges on the machine.  When I connect to windows and open Indesign it says I need update the folio Builder.  Our technician COMPUTER with administrator privileges connected to windows and upadted all cs6 programs.  When our COMPUTER technician with privileges is connected to windows and Indesign, we open the folio Builder allows me to connect and everything works fine.  It connects through the window and I connect to windows and Indesign still tells me once I need update the folio generator, even if it has been updated.  In all the examples above, the license is managed by my adobe through creative cloud id.

  As a side note, I tried Indesign CS6 as a trial version.  Before that I have a software license it would allow me to run the generator of folio while I was connected to the computer.  Folio Builder did not ask me the update until after I registered the product with a license.

  You know any solutions to my problem?

  I found a solution to my problem, I hope this can help others who wondered the folio update generator, even if its been updated.

  I've found Indesign CS6 + Folio Builder has some type of problem on my Windows 7 computer.  If the folio generator window is open when I open Indesign, close from the start of Indesign.  When I open the Panel Folio Builder, he will always ask me to update the folio generator, even if it is fully updated.

  The solution for me is to make sure that the Panel builder folio is always closed when I close Indesign.  In this way is opening Indesign, folio builder Panel does not open automatically.  I then wait a few seconds after the full opening of Indesign.  Once it is completely open and ready to go, I open the Panel builder folio and folio builder Panel alto opens correctly and I am connected.

  I hope this will help others who have this problem and maybe Adobe can understand the problem.

  Almost finished our first kiosk application (we have a Pro account), but have encountered a problem. We created all our different folios in InDesign with an Adobe admin e-mail account, in order to test them locally on devices using content displays. We then have them finalized within the DPS Folio producer and published. During this time we created the Viewer application and downloaded successfully for testing.

  But... by creating the Viewer, we had to create a new account (ID, title), he would not accept e-mail from the Admin as the title ID problem, that is, we have a working application that does not recognize the folios, as they were created with a different ID... So, how can we transfer these slips to a new ID that matched those in the Viewer? If not, is there an easy way to give the ID of administrator the rights necessary to act as a title ID in the Viewer?

  In the contrary case, we will have to rebuild all of the folios in InDesign with the new title ID... and add metadata that is associated with truck loads!

  Currently, there is no quick way to transfer between accounts folios. The engineering team working on a solution to be able to transfer between accounts folios in the near future.

  But wait, there is a quick solution to this

  1. Login to your Admin account and share folios you want to transfer the ID of "title" you created above
  2. Connect on InDesign Folio builder as title ID and create a new folio with no article in (remember the name of sheet)
  3. Now connect on your dashboard and 'open' that folio that was shared from Admin ID to your title ID
  4. Now under each article, you see a drop-down list and an option ' copy to '.
  5. Use the "copy" to copy each item one by one in this new empty folio created in step 2
