Insensitive cursor

As soon as I connect as long as my user, my cursor becomes unresponsive. It still works until I click on my name for the connection, and the keyboard works fine. I am now in "safe mode with network" and the slider works. She becomes unresponsive when I connect. It happened all of a sudden while I was using my computer and, to the best of my knowledge, did not change any settings.

I use a Toshiba laptop with Windows seven. I had to use a radio app free to listen to music for a work project. Since my cursor has become nervous or inadmissible several times a day. I can stop for temp fix but it returns. I ran several AV, spyware, malicious programs, but they are. Ideas?

    Hello

Welcome to Microsoft Community and we are happy to help you.

From your description, I understand your cursor jump Dungeon after installing a radio application.

It could have happened due to problem in the touchpad drivers.

I suggest you follow these methods and check.

    Method 1:

I suggest you to check the sensitivity of the touchpad. Reduce the sensitivity and check if that helps.

    Method 2:

I suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the touchpad.

If you use an external mouse and that you are not using the touchpad on the laptop, you can disable the touchpad in order to not accidentally tab that moves the cursor. If you use the touchpad, you can always disable tapping when typing, that solved the problem for many people.

  • Running for some time, firefox 'hangs' every 7 seconds 3 seconds, typing, scrolling, navigate... all functions to follow the cycle of 7 seconds break. Why?

This problem does not appear to exist until "free" download of Windows 10 installed. I've waited too long to return to 8.1, now stuck with the $ @# @ 10 software. Using a FF browser "synchronized" to work (win 7) I have no problems with the cyclical lag during typing, scrolling, etc. Be totally irritated with win 10, I tried once again to try Linux (Mint) and noticed that the SHIFT does not seem to be there when you use FF in Linux, which has installed from their 'package '. This shift occurs every 7 seconds to 3 seconds of insensitive cursor, typing keystrokes, scrolling action... whatever. Suspecting some 'supplement' to go funky, I have removed ALL addons... no improvement. This forum works on 64-bit, 2 gig memory, relatively new machine that had no question to win 10.

    Hello

Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. As this feature has been added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there are still some problems.

You will need to restart Firefox before this takes effect so save any work first (e.g. you compose mail, documents online that you are editing, etc.).

    Then perform the following steps:

    1. Click the menu button

then select the Options under Windows or Preferences on Mac or Linux.

    2. Select the Advanced Panel, then on the general tab.
    3. Uncheck the use hardware acceleration when available.
    4. Restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.

  • OSX become insensitive and then back to reagent after a few minutes

I know that there are other discussions about this, but I still write most of the son seems to point to Safari as the culprit, even though I think it's more like a problem with the drivers.

I have 21.5 "iMac OSX El Capitan 10.11.5 running end of 2012.

I noticed randomly becomes unresponsive by slowing down quickly until all blocked programs, but the mouse cursor moves again, and the screen saver strikes after some time and I can get by moving the mouse or pressing a key on the keyboard.

If I wait minutes (10-15 minutes usually) it becomes sensitive.

I tried to watch the console log, but it seems that everything hangs and then everything comes back to life and nothing is written to the log in the meantime.

My suspect is that it is either a graphic card or bluetooth issue, but certainly something wrong with some drivers because the same version of Mac OS x on a different material does not suffer from this problem.

It becomes more obvious when you have Chrome with many tabs open and parallel with a virtual machine running at the same time.

I tried to nail him with different tools, but because everything becomes insensitive, even diagnostic tools running on that same box are of no use because they just stop and recover as all other processes without even noticing the time gap between the two.

Is there anyone who has an idea how to debug this problem, either with the external hardware or any other means?

    See you soon!

Since you're talking about Chrome and parallel: the amount of RAM that iMac has? And how much space to spare?

Maybe one, two times a day.

Before Sierra, I have not noticed any issues with the trackpad when his flat on a desk. In the past maybe noticed a little problem here and there if on my lap or on an angle, but this small current problem seems to have started with Sierra.

  • Problem of cursor or mouse

Since the upgrade to Sierra, the cursor or the mouse does not work properly with Lightroom CC 2015.7, version "safe Sierra. It could be a problem for Adobe but Lightroom and Photoshop have been updated for Sierra and only Lightroom has the problem. Oddly enough, Photoshop works OK. In addition, the Sierra of Lightroom, 2015.7 security update, worked perfectly with El Capitan, without any problem of cursor or mouse. So I guess it might be problem Sierra or Lightroom allowing customers to loss. The Magic Mouse and the Mighty Mouse mice are problematic.

The main problem for me is that the cursor has become limited in controlling sliders and tone curve points.

    Someone else?

Yes, the same problems here. With the help of Macbook Pro 13 '' end 2014 on macOS Sierra & Lightroom 2015.7. Strange behavior when using the sliders and the points of the curve.

Do not forget that what was already a problem once after a LR update - so I guess it's at the end of the Adobes.

  • Touchpad cursor gets hard to control "woozy"

Recently, I went back to using my Mac Pro 2009 after using a Macbook to the past two years for most. I upgraded to El Capitan first, and I decided to start a new account because I've been migrating the same account for 20 years. So all is cool enough for most.

I had used a magic with the MacBook Pro touchpad because I hated the portable computers clean touchpad. Having become accustomed to the use of the touch pad, that I decided to use it with the Mac Pro. I use the touchpad, even for the last two years.

Here's the problem: I have not yet identified which triggers it but what is happening is that the slider will frequently and suddenly become what I can only describe as 'under the weather', and I hope it makes sense. It becomes slow and its response and tends to overcompensate sometimes I have to be very careful and precise and slow in my movements when it's like that because if I use my hands the way I would normally be the cursor will overshoot.

It does not have it for long periods of time, but he does not often. And it makes me a little nuts. Any ideas?

Really?  No one has an answer here?  I'm going crazy... and now my stylus is dead, so I am forced to use the touchpad! (I can't use a mouse because of repetitive stress injury)

If anyone has any ideas, please share!

    I have an iMac (27 "3.5 ghz i7 QuadCore - 3 TB FD - 4 GB NVidia GTX - Yosemite 10.10.5).

This is the mouse cursor has recently started to jump and clicking randomly. I searched the internet and this Council extensively, and then I find a lot of those who suffer from this problem, I can't find a coherent solution.

      • Think this is heat, I installed TGPro to monitor the temperature; nothing seems to be very hot.
    • I have reset NVRAM and SMC.

Are there other causes/solutions possible for this behavior? It makes the computer completely unusable, of course.

  • MacBook pro 2 logon screen starts with no arrow cursor and must be restarted

2014 Macbook Pro screen Retina 2 13 "opening session starts with no arrow cursor and must be restarted once every five tests.  When the computer reboots, message appears asking you if it must open programs that had started to load or cancel.  It is a recent problem that does not occur two months ago.  Once restarted, everything seems to be OK.  That is what it is?

Try the start mode by holding down the SHIFT key at startup. Secure boot is quite slow because the operating system performs some cleanup and verification tasks, so give it time. Once you're completely connected, restart normally.
