INSPIRON 6000 - display faded considerably (very low light)

I have Inspiron 6000 and suddenly my LCD is very low brightnss in the display. When I turn on the laptop (on battery or AC) I see the "XP" logo for 5 seconds and it goes well in the colors red and black and it goes very low (very low) and it becomes difficult to see the (nearly empty we can tell when you have any white background you can tell that something is the display). I used FN and ARROW to ensure that the brightness is high, and when I join this laptop for external monitor works fine on external monitor so hardware or operating system is ok but I couldnot find what could be the problem. If it's the LCD is if I can replace the LCD and how much it costs and where I can buy?

Thank you

Mukesh

  • Very low speaking volume - Dell Inspiron

Hello, I bought 2 notebooks of Dell Inspiron 3542 in January

The internal speaker on each volume is very low as a whisper, even at 100%.

The drivers are up to date.

Looking for ideas on how to increase the volume.

    Thank you very much.

    Dear Sujatha, k.

Thank you very much for your suggestions continue, but I spent hours to set up two laptops in the way that I need them and hours more, to try to resolve the issue of the speaker, namely extremely low volume even in the setting of 100 percent.  I don't want to just go back to factory default, or risk losing data or settings to devote more time to it.  Unfortunately, I'll live with the present situation.  I really appreciate any suggestions.  I conclude that it is a design problem.  Larry

  • I need the video/display drivers for my Dell Inspiron 6000 with Windows 8.

I need the video/display drivers for my Dell Inspiron 6000 with Windows 8.  Laptop is the Intel Pentium M processor 2.00 GHz RAM, operating system, 32-bit on x 86.  My resolution is not at the right level and videos have hard play.

I went to the ATI site and when I try to download their drivers, they will not be installed because they do not recognize the Windows 8 operating system.  The site of Dell's Windows XP operating system.
    Thanks for any help.

Reconstructions of Dell should be loaded in a particular order until the drivers are installed, that is to say the controllers then the drivers for the chipset and resolution etc. They are specific to this.
    then;
2 CharlesGrimes comment '... ". searching on my computer for the Dell under the old windows files and the old drivers were loaded. "I had tried this but not good. So went into a ghost of Dell image when the resolution was good on Win7, recovered files in windows/System32, which has old drivers. Does the update in graphic cards [Device Manager] driver and manually looked through above the files recovered from previous instal win7 and YES they charge this time.
Oh what a relief to have a higher resolution. Experience had taught me how snappy Win8 is, I picked up a shortened bunch of ways to circumvent the operating system, and it is growing on me. WIN8 Pro works best on this old machine than its original Home XP and Win7.
Thank you Carlos and others for your info that led to my positive resolution.
  • Inspiron 6000 - no LCD display

I tried to set my daughter-in-laws Inspiron 6000 for these past few weeks.
Problem: No LCD screen after the blue bar of Windows.
    Actions:
Last RELOADED, video driver (ATI MobilityRadeon X 300), Bios (A09), adjustment and Support of Dell diagnostics.  .
    An external monitor works fine.
A ran the last video diagnostics (from CD) and passes LCD display all tests.
When you display the view tab in the properties of the video, it shows the connected monitor (if you use the external monitor) and shows the LCD screen as 'Not connected', even if the lid is open.
The system is not in standby mode when the lid is closed, even if the option is enabled.
Conclusion: The lid switch must be faulty.

Has anyone replaced the cover switch in the Inspiron 6000?   If so, what is the part number and where can buy the switch?
PS. This forum has been a great help to me this good.

  • Inspiron 6000 connect only in safe mode

Hi I have a very complicated problem with this dell inspiron 6000 would initially connect to the internet fine and now connect only in safe mode with networking support.

Windows XP pro, all updates and the drivers installed and the latest drivers for the hardware as well.

I am connected ATM threw a wired router with the onboard broadcom 440 when in normal mode, I get a DNS error and I am in safe mode without error LOL. I ran ipconfig with each listed switch.

It is setup exactly the same thing in normal mode as in trunk then yes time for a punt and hope for a field goal.  nothing has been changed any software added recent updates installed were the 8th of this month. It comes from spending a couple of days.

I used the winsockfix corrupt but also removed all the network hardware in normal conditions and then restarted in safe and removed there as well. Following is the display of the ipconfig command.

  • Inspiron 6000 video loss

As a favor to an old friend, I offered to find what might be wrong with his Inspiron 6000. I have experience w / Mac and unix for > 20 years, IBM ThinkPads and others for perhaps a dozen years, but nothing specific to Dell.

My observations are that while the disk activity and the LED indicator models seem to indicate the successfully started Windows XP (Home) in normal or safe mode LCD display has a resolutely red/violet tint which, in no time, returns to the normal color rendering and appearance, but then disappears completely. No distortion, lines, something like that, the video just give up entirely.

This was easily observed when I used F8 to select Safe Mode boot. The second time I tried it, the screen of choice for startup type appeared only briefly and then disappeared before I had a chance to choose anything. Clearly, the display should stay until a choice is selected or a much longer period. It looked like both a total loss of the video decreases every time I tried something, this is the first time with a system of 'cold' is longer than subsequent attempts.

So I think it's the backlight which is a failure, but I'm not totally convinced in this analysis.

Estimates on the cost of replacing new lighting in an Inspiron 6000? The owner of this machine use exclusively for IM, web surfing, etc. and has no data in the form of documents, music, email, or anything else that should be saved or preserved. My first reaction was that she should simply get something new.

Your comments appreciated with an open mind.

  • Page Firefox blocks, led busy, very low cpu on some sites. I have an example.

    Firefox 41.0, win 10 Pro x 64.
Recently (possibly before v.41) pages Firefox hang with very low cpu on some sites.
Firefox itself is not hung, but for this tab, the indicator of the clock continues ticking.
I open the problem while another tab has the problem.
Some data on the website are generally displayed (context?).
There may be a redirect/refresh any (full proposal).
Note: in this case, the web site is grayed out.
    Example: https://www.code42.com/store/
Problem is when I navigated to the URL above. Also occurred when I pasted the URL.
Works in Version Chrome 45.0.2454.101 m.
    Working on board 20.10240.16384.0

Note: right now, I'm trying to upload an image, the download is not finished. Ticks of the clock.

I will try to present this anyway.

I was about to follow the instructions in the above message, but tried the web site to verify that the problem continues. There can be no. I don't know what I've done (maybe I cleared the cache I've been poking).
    Anyway. Please close this incident.
    And thanks for your help.

  • After upgrading to iOS 9.3.2,and volume is very low when the reception or appeal of the mine

After the upgrade to iOS 9.3.2,and I hear very low volume everything without or receive calls. Either side can hear properly

Try resetting your device. This will not erase your data stored on that device.

    • Press and hold the sleep/wake button
    • Press and hold the Home button
    • Press and hold both buttons until the display turns off and on again with the Apple logo on the subject.

Alternatively, you can go to settings - general - reset - Reset all settings

If that doesn't work, restore your device to factory settings. Please note that this will delete the data on your device.

Take a look this Apple Support article: use iTunes to restore the iPhone, iPad or iPod to factory settings - Apple Support.

  • Very low volume on Portege R500

The volume on my R500 (R500 - 11 c to be exact) is ridiculously low. Only with the volume at maximum (100) and using headphones I hear nothing, and even in this case, it is far too low to be useful. I can just do the test sounds to the left and then good listener when using his test detected in Control Panel-> Sound-> speakers (there no helmet to choose)-> Properties-> Advanced-> test. Unplug the headphones I hear nothing in the speakers, because of the (very low) sounds made by the fan and HARD drive. Play music (with headphones) I can just do the sounds are produced, but I can't even on what is happening.

I tried the things mentioned in the "Satellite 5105-S901 sound is very low (even at max volume) to aid driver Toshiba ' thread without success (including the Loudness equalization).

I am running Vista Business 32 bit and have tried the driver_audio_realtek26117B.exe, driver_audio_realtek_TC00157600B.exe and Vista_Win7_R243_x86.exe the driver files and also used the util_mute_off_25847B.exe utility.

Enabling silent makes the already weak sounds go completely silent, so I don't think it's a matter of mute.

Jack detection works, I can see that in the Realtek HD Audio Manager program. Using sound test of this program (Configuration of the speakers) I have to go to a completely silent, and even in this case I can't hear something on the right headphone. (I think, it's darn so low, that I could imagine I hear.)

Decreasing the volume slider sound 100 harder almost inaudible noise similarly points out, and around 45 it is more audible even in a quiet room with headphones.

So it seems that I somehow need to reset the audio chip in a 'normal' level Or it is broken and does not display anything more audible.

Does anyone have ideas, what I can try next? I can boot XP or Linux, if anyone has any ideas on how to get her here, just to start. (They are silent as well, I did not like extensive tests under those as Vista).

    Hello

According to your message, you have tried to increase the volume by using all possible options
Have you tried to increase the volume in Control Panel-> Realtek HD audio manager?
    Check this box

You also tried to update the Realtek audio driver.
Did you use the Realtek page directly?
    Check it!

If this will not help, you might try the laptop with the new system recovered

But if this does not improve the volume, then this could be a hardware problem

  • Very low emission Qosmio F50

    Hello world

Recently my Qosmio F50 - 10z began to suffer a very weird problem. Often, the screen becomes absolutely dim. If I concentrate very hard, I see a picture very very low. Some external monitors when connected are well-lit and bright. The weirdest bit is that when this happens, I literally slam the lid shut and open the lid immediately to remake the screen light up.

I know that it is either the inverter or the cable screen. My question is how can I know if it's the cable VGA or the inverter and where do I buy the part of!

    Help, please!

    Thank you!

    > The screen will often absolutely dim. If I concentrate very hard, I see a picture very very low. Some external monitors when connected are well-lit and bright.
    > My question is how can I know if it's the cable VGA or the inverter and where do I buy the part of!

In my opinion it s inverter question a FL since the image on the external monitor is ok.
The FL inverter controls the backlight of the screen and the sounds in question as FL inverter malfunction.
You can buy and order all the compatible parts of a local ASP.
The authorized service partner would be useful and could also replace the part.
I would recommend this because the disassembly of the laptop is very delicate.

    Welcome them

  • Portege R700 webcam goes dark in low light conditions

    Hello

Since I bought my Toshiba Portege R700 about a year ago I had problems with my webcam. I looked in several forums but couldn't find an answer. My build in webcam has problems of adaptation in the light of the room.

When the room is dimly lit camera turns almost black after a few seconds. It is interesting enough before the camera darkens, he manages to produce a picture is ok for a few seconds, which means that the camera is capable of producing an image ok in low light conditions.

She has just problems adjusting the brightness in the room when it is poorly lit. I propose to toshiba update the software of the camera, since it is clearly a matter of software. And yes I've tried every single possible configuration for the camera! And Yes, I also reinstalled (several times) the camera driver.

I know that the camera performs well in places that have good lighting and so I'm only interested in improving my performance of cameras when not much light is available.

    Thank you very much
    Clem

    Hi dude

I understand that you would expect webcam great performance in poor light environment but I put t do you think it would be possible to get the good quality photo using the laptop is dark rooms.

The material of these small internal cams is limited and you see the same issues with other devices like smartphones cameras that resemble the internal cams s notebook.

In addition, the webcam software that is preinstalled on my laptop Toshiba supports the night mode option that allows you to improve the quality of the obscure image in the Middle but of course you will not get the same image quality if you want to use the cam in the luminous environment

    Hello
Welcome to the Forums of Discussion of the user.

First of all. the white dots that you see in the picture are the reflections of dust of your flash.
Second, if you take pictures of distant in a very dark frame objects, auto and flash are not recommended as you try to keep light natural lots you can.

Here are two basic settings help you to: ISO and EV (opening)

The ISO is a speed rating for recording media that incorporates an image sensor that receives light. Even when the exposure is the same images differ according to the ISO.
    ISO

    EV

If manual is a bit too advanced, try to use the parameter of 'Twilight' or 'twilight pocket. "
These scene selections will allow you to shoot scenes of night to a far distance (your pier is a good example of it) without losing the dark atmosphere of the surrounding area.

several are on the settings here:

  • 5 d Mark 3 low light Images = really slow!

    Hello

I have a rather strange problem. When shooting in low light (shots thinking completely black, lightning etc.) 5 d mark iii takes forever to display the image on the preview screen. It takes up to a minute or more, and I can see the flicker of red light (indicating the camera is busy writing?) all the time. Thinking it was a problem of memory card, I have switched on the SD card slot (I was shooting before CF) and encountered the same problem. I use San Disk Extreme (30MBPS) CF card and card SD Extreme (45MBPS).

Are these cards not fast enough for what I do? I am shooting in RAW + JPEG, writes that one card.

I thought it was a fault of the camera, but I talked to a friend who had just bought his Mark iii, and he had the same complaint.

Anyone else encounter this problem or are we just a bad batch?

Any light you can throw on this issue would be greatly appreciated.

I think it is more likely to be long-exposure noise reduction. What is the shutter exposure value? Since you said that it is almost black, the exhibition could be long. Therefore, give us some information.

For example, if your shuter speed is 1/10 and it took 5 seconds to appear then it is something wrong. But if it's a 5s exhibition and it took 5 seconds, then it is normal.

On the use of SD card with 5DMIII, the speed limit is 20Mbps which remains fast enough to always capture. And there's also, stamp camera too. This is why you will not see the slow worms down in normal shooting situation (not in burst). In short, I think that it is due to the reduction of the long exposure noise which is turned towards the AUTO default.
