Inspiron 7347 active stylus

I got a dell inspiron 7347 which is advertised on the dell site it can be improved to "stylus assets dell."

As the laptop is currently unusable for taking with the current passive stylus (ball too thick, no rejection of palm) of notes in hand, I would like to know what, exactly, is part of the active stylus announced how many and where it can be found, as even a dell representative. I contacted earlier this week don't seem to know...

... Which makes me wonder if this pen really exists! (false advertisement?)

The only thing I can find is an active stylus of dell for the pros of the place. What is meant for work with the inspiron as well?

If so, would this work out of the box or I need to install special software?

Finally, by lucky chance, has anyone given it a try on the inspiron?

Thank you

Dimitrios

Hello, I asked the same question a few days ago. Now I have the answer: the Active stylus works on Dell Inspiron 7347. I bought one and it works fine (I'm happy with it). I use it since yesterday. Dell told me that they don't update the description of the active stylus Dell. I bought this one: click here. I got it out of the box, and it worked, no installation required.

I noticed one thing, it's that the rejection of palm does not work all the time... I'd say the rejection of palm works 100% on Photoshop (very good), 90% on OneNote, 70% on Microsoft Office (not perfect)... If anyone knows a very good software to take notes PDF with a very good release palm, I would like to know because I'm taking notes in school with this computer. I tried Drawboard PDF, but it always has my notes in bulk or stop so I deleted the application (people say that Drawboard PDF is the best PDF application to take notes, but I am very disappointed!)
Good day

I just replaced my Dell laptop, Inspiron, very tired with a HP Pavilion x 360 13 - s161nr running Windows 10 (64-bit). I noticed that for an active pen drivers are preloaded. Can I use an active stylus with this model? If so, what are the best currently. I would especially take notes, writing and drawing/scribbling. If a stylus screen only is not supported, what are the best pens for accuracy? Thanks for any help.

  • Network of abandonment (intermittent and consistent) - Dell Inspiron 7347, Win 8.1, Linksys BEFW11S4, adapter Intel dual band wireless AC 7265

History: I just bought a laptop / Tablet Dell Inspiron 7347 (exchanged for another unit, see below).   Problems to maintain a strong connection and when connected, it is very slow.   When it is connected to the wireless router, it maintains a (slow) connection for 3-5 minutes and then craps out (restrict the connection with the yellow "!" on the WiFi in the taskbar).  He then returned to the top of 1 3 minutes later.  It's a coherent continuous cycle.  I tried to reset the default router with no luck.

All the other devices on this router (office, phone, IPad) all hold the connection without problem at the same time, this device is not.

Notable: Before I bought this tablet/laptop I bought an Acer Aspire tablet / laptop which had exactly the same problem on my network.  I returned the unit for other reasons (quality of construction etc.), but he had the same OS (Win 8.1).  I don't know if she had the same network adapter.

What I tried: cycling the router - cycling the modem - router the default factory reset of small animals - U-APSD deactivation on the network card - slapping me hard - offering to the gods...

What I tried to try: tried to update the drivers for the Intel card using the Intel drivers update (adapter drivers for Win 8.1 and Intel PROset wireless), but he kept time during download because... THE NETWORK IS NOT STABLE! (ugh!)

    I'm puzzled.   Makes me CRAZY!

FIXED!   Check it out guys.   I'm bothering with deactivation of all the resources of the card network, add-ins etc in the hope of this narrowing... including Bluetooth.   I have a Microsoft Bluetooth mouse for the comfort sculpt ([View:www.microsoft.com/.../sculpt-comfort-mouse:550:0])

I turned off and BOOM... everything was fine.   Also, I noticed when it was powered up, the speedtest would plunge drastically when I actually moved the mouse during the test.   See below for the result of the test with the mouse.   I can't post a with the mouse on because the test wouldn't even with it on.

Hmmmm... so it turns out that it could be a problem with a product from Ms... go figure.

  • Inspiron 7347 touchpad problems

I got my Inspiron 7347 for a few days.  When using the battery, the touchpad exposes some quirks that make this extremely difficult to use as a laptop P:C.

The mouse on the touchpad hangs intermittently, sometimes for several seconds.  This erratic behavior makes the mouse terribly difficult.

When scrolling with the mouse on a vertical scroll bar, right-click for the Office menu keeps popping up.  I have to move the mouse out of the scroll bar, left click to get rid of the right click menu and reposition the mouse on the scroll bar.  Sometimes this behavior is constant when you scroll a page long, it is impossible to use the mouse to scroll.

I searched this forum to find answers, but what I find is other users complain the same problems going back months.  This is one of the sons, started 09/11/2014, nearly two months ago:

    en.Community.Dell.com/.../19606250

I struggle to understand how Dell can sell and PC are provided with a well-known set of very serious problems of touchpad.  My guess is that a new driver is needed - NOW!

    All the answers?  Thank you.

The touchpad on my Inspiron 7347 was replaced under warranty.  A technician came to my house and swapped for a new touchpad.  Most of the problems that I had is now resolved.  He was not a software/driver issue in my case, but rather a faulty touchpad. The hesitation frequent moving of the mouse and gel disappeared.  The mouse is now pretty much behaving as expected.

A 'trick' I discovered - as the mouse moves when you click, I keep my finger of the right hand on the mouse pad and click on with my left hand.  Using two fingers tends to keep the stable mouse while clicking.  I think that the basic design of the mechanism of rattling is simply bad.  One of the technicians agree chat with me.  The trick of two fingers, it is achievable.

  • Active stylus problems

I guess most of the people are not with the active stylus or there are more messages on its irregular operation. For me this is not worth keeping without functioning active stylus. Sometimes it seems to work fine, but to, it often acts as if the pen is in contact with the screen, even when it's not. This seems to happen with all its functions, inking in OneNote, on the keyboard screen handwriting recognition, select icons... I have the latest firmware and drivers, I hope they are working on a fix, the latter has not solved the problem.

For many, the A01 and A02 of the stylus versions work fine (I use both without problem on a daily basis).   For some, they are not quite right.

If you are having problems with a black pen, please contact support to get a replacement of the newest A00 (silver/black) stylus.

While most customers have good results with version A02 of the pen, there have been some exceptions.   You should not reset the pen like that.   I recommend contacting our assistance and asking new version A00 of the stylus.   The revision has changed back to A00 following a new part number.   The new stylus can be identified easily because it is silver and black instead of black.

I looked around everywhere in the Panel, but I can't seem to find a way to change the buttons on the active stylus of mouse clicks.

As far as I know, that you can not - Dell has not helped pen user configuration. :(

  • Reference Dell Touch P2314T - working with active stylus?

I bought this touchscreen monitor, because I wanted a bigger workspace for the drawing. I used 3 Surface with Pen of Surface until now, but I wanted a bigger screen. So, I bought a monitor Dell Touch P2314T. I was wondering, is it possible to use this monitor with the active stylus Dell here?

I want to know if the monitor works with the stylus, and if the pressure and palm rejection sensitivity will be sustained. Thank you in advance.

I do not know. You'll need to read through the Manual for touch screen monitors find these data.

  • Venus 11 + active stylus = NOTHING

Battery IS a right - it came in the box.

It IS inserted the right way - I can read + on the stylus and the battery and can match them!

Point IS pushed all the way in the case of the "pen".

I see a circle when the tip is a button on the user interface - on this site and others.

Click on any button of the pen is applied, or a tap - on screen, produced nothing.

The stylus has been ordered along with the Tablet, under Add-ons, specific to this tablet.

Why it will not work on the device for which it was designed/calibrated/granted?

NO other positions helped with diagnoses.

    Are there drivers?  What else?

Drawing freehand in OneNote s/b a pretty simple thing to do, but no dice!  Nothing.  Is the FAULTY pen?

The screen of the Tablet is defective?

    ???????

After working through all that the Tablet configuration-wise and he worked with Support from Dell on the phone, the conclusion was 'replace', which they did, and the next day had a fully functioning pen in my hand.  Nice a Dell, excellent service.

  • Version active Stylus A02 and horrible battery life.

Is this pen never auto-off or does just go in mode 'sleep'? I bought the version A02 June 7. The last time I used it was June 11. On 19 June, I discovered that the battery is completely dead. I only used it for just five days. Even if the battery is dead today, we're always talking less than two weeks most of the time sitting in my drawer.

I wonder if it's because I put the pen right next to my tablet in my drawer. But then my tablet is completely turned off. With my V8P completely off, store the stylus just beside the Tablet shouldn't matter, right? I don't know what is happening.

was here. The original has the expiry date of 2018, but I don't think that Dell or the manufacture of pen buy them in huge bulk, and as it is called this way buying much are not the height.  :-)
The A02 works now about 7 to 8 weeks with spare battery.
A01 for about 2 more weeks.
We do not use the constantly but quite a long time to see a huge difference compared to the original batteries.
I also bought the batteries from Amazon and not in the stores (because of price). 14 for $10. They also came with expiry date 2018. :-) I would day if you replace the battery and it is drained a few days again once you have a faulty pen.

Not knowing where you bought your but I always recommend buying the stylus directly from Dell. I saw that people who were selling on eBay as 01 or 02, but they were actually 00. 00 had the problem of drainage. It's users to get replacements 01 or 02 returns. People to not keep the 00 packaging and put their 00 01 or 02 and returned the area. On eBay we could get you a 00 in a box 01 or 02. Looking at the pen you don't see any difference.

  • Replacement battery for Dell active stylus (750 - LT.) does not

Hey guys, so I have a problem on my stylus I want to help with. So, after you barely use my stylus for more than a year, I started finally reuse to take notes in class. However, there were a few times I thought that the battery was beginning to die, so I ordered replacements from Amazon. Unfortunately, when I tried to use them, the pen didn't quite work. I thought that it was a problem with the first battery, I tried, but after going through a 12-pack, I realized No one would work. I tried to order another series just in case I got a bad batch, but the replacement for the replacements came and those who don't work no more.

I am absolutely convinced that my pen is not a malfunction, because it works when I use the supplied battery delivered with it. So I took another look at the batteries I ordered and the default battery that accompanies it and noticed something strange:

The battery on the left (the one shipped with the stylus) has one end longer than the battery replacement on the right. It is quite possible that these replacements are not good "contact" with the pen, where he can not power? Is there a 'special' type batteries AAAA I need, or I just have a terrible luck with batteries? I don't have a way to test the amount of energy in these things, but I guess that at least one in about 20 would be kindome s power in them.

I hope I'm not crazy about the survey when I say that I need help replacing a freaking battery, so if someone could help me out here I would really appreciate it.

Good hook, and detective work.  I read this question with respect to certain AAAA rechargeable batteries available through eBay.

And so, a question: is the total length of the battery with the shorter upper stem less than original battery?  The photo, it looks like it may be the same.

One thing I read in the forum on the stylus, it's that some people have put a piece of crumpled-up aluminum foil under the flat part of the battery, to fill a missing space.  I wonder if that might work for you.
