I use DELL inspiron laptop N4110.

    My Bios Version is A12

    Now
Can I use the Core i5 processor to above for my inspiron N4110 replace the Core i3 processor?
And what do I do after replacing processor?

    Hi Nexus Habib,

    Welcome to the community.

Please share the exact number of processor that you tried to upgraded to. Dell has tested more processors on this system:

    • Intel Core i3 - 2310M (3 m Cache, 2.10 GHz) processor
    • Intel Core processor i5 - 2410M (3 m Cache, up to 2.90 GHz)
    • Intel Core processor i5 - 2520M (3 m Cache, up to 3.20 GHz)
    • Intel Core processor i5 - 2540M (3 m Cache, up to 3.30 GHz)
    • Processor Intel Core i7 - 2620M (4 M Cache, up to 3.40 GHz)

Note: Dell does not recommend nor upgraded the processor, but it's your discretion if you really want to go ahead with it. Warranty by saying that the issues raised as a result of the upgrade is not covered by the warranty, but we will continue to support for other issues and parts.

Also, please update the BIOS with the latest version of the A12, before the upgrade of the processor. Here are the steps:

    • Please click the link http://dell.to/1nNZjsp
    • Download and save the BIOS on the desktop.
    • Right-click on it and select "Run as Administrator".
    • Follow the instructions to update the BIOS screen.

Note: Make sure the power adapter is connected and the battery is charged at 10% or more to update the BIOS. Furthermore, disconnect any external devices before the BIOS update. All programs should be closed and saved documents.

I hope this helps. Answer please if you have any questions.

  • Problems of speaker vs helmet on repaired Inspiron N4110

I recently had to send in my new laptop Inspiron after mysteriously losing Windows 7. Reference Dell reinstalled Windows but all wiped on the computer (Fortunately, I was able to back up my hard drive beforehand) - including all the drivers. I was able to reinstall the drivers from the driver disk. However, my laptop is now of things he had not before, especially with the audio. The volume control is no longer appears when I adjust the volume, which is only a minor annoyance. The main problem is that I tend to keep the headphones plugged in a lot, so that I can listen to the music and the school of materials while working. However, in the past few weeks since getting my computer back, I had trouble with it recognizing the helmet. Sometimes when I first plug them or turn on the computer it refuses to recognize. More often, however, when I'm already doing something and to pause for a few minutes, he abruptly replaces speakers when I type the game again. Sometimes it twenty seconds to reroute the back sound to the headset again. It is quickly becoming a minor annoyance and I have not been able to find anything online about this. Does anyone know something that I could do about it? Thank you.

What I need to replace the Audio Jack Circuit Board (and ports usb & player card) or is there another problem since it is not the input jack audio but speaker disconnected or broken.

Do not replace the audio jack. You should check the speaker connections and if it's tight, you could try replacing the speakers. You can get the instructions for disassembly of the laptop documents N4110 page. Download the "service manual" in the language of your choice.

  • Frequent sounds of 'buzz'

My wife has a laptop Dell Inspiron N4110 with SRS Premium SOund technology.   Recently, he began to make frequent short 'buzz' sounds (one every 2 minutes) because she is listening to SAIAB. AC. I uninstalled the 2 sound devices and reinstalled them at the next reboot.  Always the same.  The sounds of buzz arrive when it uses its built-in speakers and when using headphones.

  • Download drivers on the desktop instead of good record

Published since the Support Forum for laptop, because I'm not sure which forum it should be placed in. I will delete in case of wrong place.

So whenever I try to update my drivers and download, it always affects the office location. I think it's affecting the laptop cause every time I check the new driver I installed the Device Manager does not appear. I have Inspiron N4110, and I was wondering if there was a way I could reset it so whenever I have to download/install it will be attributed to the appropriate folder. I don't know how he navigate manually, thanks!

Also, on a note a little unrelated, I'm updating because I have high latency problems, so if that affects it somehow?

Sorry, I'm really slow with this stuff.

Download the drivers is not the same as installing the drivers.

Once the drivers are downloaded, you must run the and they must extract to C:\Dell\Drivers, then install.

So I thought I had a virus, I didn't, and I ended up remove ALL. EVERYTHING. (I didn't have to re - install windows btw) So I accidentally installed windows vista on my laptop windows 7. If your Dell printer was supplied with preinstalled win7 use your Dell recovery disks to restore to factory State.

If you do not or did not have the recovery disks when you got the PC, contact Dell support to pray, for which there is a fee

When you finally get reinstalled win7, run windows update > settings then uncheck updated recommended, leaving ONLY the important updates for automatic installation

  • Win 7 cannot find the driver on the laptop to HP Deskjet 5600 connected to the office via WLAN

I have HP Deskjet 5650 color printer connected to desktop Dell Dimension 2400 under Windows XP Home Edition Ver 2002 SP3. I just bought a laptop Dell Inspiron N4110 running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 bit.

I am trying to connect to the printer via my home WIFI network running through a Netgear Wireless-N 150 WNR1000 router.

When I add a printer on the laptop, it shows on the list of printers available on the select a printer screen, but when he tries to connect, it returns with a message, "cannot find a driver for HP Deskjet 5600 series on the network.

I tried to locate the driver manually, but without success. I have an older HP laptop that is running Windows XP, which has always connected to the printer via the WIFI network very well.

Can I connect the printer directly to the new laptop via a USB port and it recognizes, installs and runs very well.

But I need accessible and connected permanently to the desktop from the laptop when it is connected to the WLAN.

Can someone tell me how I can get my new laptop to locate driver files on when connecting via the WIFI network, please?

    Thanks for your help!

    Very well!!  He finally got!

had to go to the properties of the computor, advanced system properties, system, device installation settings and game to install drivers from windows update if it is not found on my computer.

Then, it would finally be search on windows update for drivers, but would not yet find a driver even from windows update to the printer when installing it as a network printer.

I had to add a printer as a local printer, and then select Create a new port, local port, and the port name, I had to enter the path through the network computer to the printer (as "\\desktopname\printername").

Then and only then, did that pick me from a list of printers, and we found a driver on windows update.

Yet once again, I appreciate your help! Looks like we may have learned something from this experience.

  • Windows 7 crashes - blue screen is displayed when the mouse is flown over IE icon in the toolbar

    Hello

I was struck with a weird problem.  I have a laptop Dell Inspiron N4110 with Windows 7 64-bit Home Basic.

The laptop was working fine until last year.   The problem arises as below

    1. Open the IE or Google Chrome browser.  After that I open this browser I am able to browse Web sites, etc., using Wi - Fi and Datacard connection without any problems.
    2. I reduce the window IE or Chrome
    3. I move the mouse over the icon in the toolbar to maximize still IE.  Windows crashes and I get a blue screen.
    4. This behavior is replicable n number of times.
    5. Also, I believe that the accident occurred when I try to use the button left of the mouse and not the right button

I raised an issue with Dell technical support that the laptop is still under warranty and that they were not able to help and asked me to contact MS to solve this problem.  I did the following, but of no use.

    1. Installed Avast Antivirus to scan the entire file system.  Previously, I had Kaspersky, but the license has expired.  There is no infection reported in any of the two.
    2. I used Malwarebytes to find malware.  Once again clean.
    3. I uninstalled the recent windows and Office updates, once again no help.
    4. As recommended by Dell support, I have updated Bios video driver drivers USB etc, but no help again.
    5. I removed the RAM cleaned and replaced but that was of no help again.  I replaced my defective existing of 4 GB of RAM with a 2 GB of RAM, thinking it could be a RAM.  It also did not help.
    6. I ran Chkdsk f and carefully checked for repair bad sectors, etc.,.

Need help Urgent technicians of M/S on it.  It's really frustrating, and I don't know if this frequent crashes corrupt my hard drive.

    Concerning
    Ravi

    M.

I think that just installing the new driver should solve the problem.  Let us know.

  • Impossible to get Fallout 3 to run Windows 7. Tried everything, please help!

So I literally disappeared EVERYWHERE and tried EVERYTHING and still not get my FO3 work :/

I did the d3d9, tried every compatibility, fixed parts of the .ini I was supposed to and even tried the affinity. NOTHING WORKS. It still crashes very quickly once I have created a new game.

If you have any other suggestions please let me know. I'd really like to play my FO3 :/

Here is my card if they help:

OS: Win 7 Home Premium 64-bit

I know, that he should not have to do with my graphics card, because I know people who also have the game works very well with an integrated graphics card. Thanks in advance! ^_^

And please no mods who just copy and paste the same answer to every question... I want to help legitimate working :/

"I know that he should not have to do with my graphics card, because I know people who also have the game works very well with an integrated graphics card. Thanks in advance! ^_^"

Just to unravel the terminology. There is no 'card' with integrated graphics. There are
chips on the motherboard for some, but the graphics card Intel are part of the cpu.
As with graphics cards, Intel HD graphics card not all are created equal, so if your machine doesn't have the same processor as the 'other' it doesn't have the same onboard graphics.
You cpu has HD3000 graphics that should be enough run the game, but you have
starting with some settings and resolution and work your way to the top if the game runs OK.
In addition, the different laptop models have a different amount of VRAM dedicated, then
If your model has only 64 MB of VRAM, it is less likely to work the game.
If your machine is not the same brand and model and does not have the same software
configuration settings and system as the 'other' it can not be compared accurately.
Many small things add up to a big difference.

Describe the crash - lock-up, black screen?
Screen black accidents are common with FO3, and anything that can be done is to try and
minimize them. camera comes with the question of four cores, or by using the settings too high.
It can also be your anti-virus. Try disabling that before launching the game.

"And please no mods who just copy and paste the same answer to every question...". I want legitimate help that works :/ »
This is done especially in the absence of details ("my game not start what to do?)
    in the original post.
You have to start somewhere and the cut and paste is generally these steps which must always be taken. There are no shortcuts to troubleshooting, and assuming that "which can not be she" can lead to more frustration, especially after several hours of stuffing about to find that's all (* headbang *).
It said that some of the answers cut and paste are not yet on the subject, but it is a
Forum of the community of civilians, would be nice.

    Ok then.
-You tried the 'quad cord fix? You don't need with a dual core cpu and use
may be counterproductive. Like the game runs better on two hearts he can also help
to disable hyperthreading on the cpu, that two "virtual" cores more equals four.
-That you have installed the game using Vista sp1 compatibility mode. (Note I said installed)-
-You have installed the Windows 7 codec pack to solve the problem of ffdshow, or used another
    method.
-You have installed all Windows updates
-The game has been patched and you have not yet installed mods.
-You do not use Anti-aliasing, Bloom, HDR or V-sysnc (which use too many resources for your HD graphics card).
-Do you have a pagefile (virtual memory) enabled?
-What parts of the .ini correct you?

Clean boot is a viable option for troubleshooting software conflicts are always a potential-
How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7

Review the programs that you can run after you start in Windows as a potential
Thus the conflicts. With minimum specifications, you need minimum stuff running while
play the game. None of the browsers open, etc.
Time to clean boot (or just by running msconfig) and clearing the check box next to
any program in the Startup tab that you don't need to run in the background when loading Windows you can reduce the amount of resources used during the game.
