Install an optical mouse Hama AM-5400 on Windows 7

Hello

Ive recently bought a new mouse for my laptop and I'm unable to install.

In the past on different machines, Ive has had no problem installing mouse plug you just them and it usually automatically installs.

It is said once plugged in which its installed but still does not work. And when I go to Device Manager it says that the driver has not been installed. Ive tried troubleshooting and that doesn't seem to work either. Ive looked on the internet for the driver to manually download and Ive has also not had any luck finding a.

Please help its driving me crazy! It is not that difficult to install!

Also internet connection laptop has stopped working, but only wireless when it's connected via Ethernet it works very well.

Thank you!

Hi Anthony,.

For any hardware works correctly, but a compatible driver. Since the mouse works fine in other PC, it might be possible that we have to fix the USB controllers.

As all associated drivers, USB devices the same facilities also have it. Sometimes proper drivers are not detected after initial installation for the reinstallation of the drivers solves the problems.

You can check after uninstalling and reinstalling USB drivers if you are able to connect. You can disconnect all USB devices and then perform the following steps:

a. click Startand then click Control Panel.

b. click system and Maintenance, click Systemand then click on Device Manager.

c. Note if control panel is in Classic view, double-click Systemand then click on Device Manager.

d. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or clickallow.

e. in the Device Manager, double-click to expand the 'Bus USB controllers', right click on the controller host, click "Uninstall" and click "OK".
Check that if at all, there is an exclamation point on the pilot, it suggests problems with the installed driver.

f. Repeat step 2 to uninstall all items under 'USB Bus controllers'.

g. then, restart your computer and Windows 7 will automatically reinstall all USB controllers.

If the edge of the issue persists, I'll ask allows you to check the chipset driver updates, you can get on the site of the manufacturer. The chipset drivers normally integrate USB controller drivers as well.

Now, since you are able to connect to internet via Ethernet and no Wi - Fi, it's because the Wi - Fi driver is either missing, corrupted, or outdated. Visit the computer manufacturer's support Web site and install the latest Wi - Fi driver available for Windows 7 operating system.

Hope this information is useful. Please feel free to answer in the case where you are facing in the future other problems with Windows.

Wireless Microsoft notebook optical mouse does not work with g42 - 410 us laptop

    Hi Mary,

Did you install all the necessary drivers, firmware and/or software Intellisoft of the mouse and then restart?

You have good batteries in the mouse?

Verify that the mouse is compatible with working computer and your operating system?

Have you checked the mouse icon in the control panel (after all of the above) to a setting to activate?

Contact the vendor of your computer and see if you need to update something else.  When I installed my wireless mouse, it wouldn't work until I updated the touchpad, the firmware drivers and.

    Good luck!

  • My 2000 wireless optical mouse scroll wheel works intermittently-"mouse sigal is low."

Original title: my 2000 optical wireless mouse scroll wheel works intermittently

I recently bought a set of wireless with an optical mouse wireless 2000, office 100 wireless keyboard and a wireless desktop kit 3.1 receiver. After you have installed the drivers and the Intellitype/point than roulette software of the mouse does not work all the time, for example after clicking on my way in a 80 page PDF manual and long Web page that the wheel seems to not work in one direction, then the other way won't work. I tried new batteries, latest driver bouquet of microsoft site (intellipoint 8.01) moving to the receiver or away to "signal low mouse." Today, however, the mouse is 2-3 feet away from the receiver and it keeps popping up saying ' the mouse sigal is low you want to start the troubleshooter? Yes, I tried this and tried to move the USB without success. Can someone HELP please... Tired of drag and drop

Same problem here, but I found a way to make this work (in fact there are two ways LOL)

-Remove one of the batteries.  Believe it or not, the scroll wheel works perfectly when I remove one of the battery (any).  However, I do not know how long it will last since there isn't that one battery in operation.

    OR

-Remove the lid of dough and remove the batteries.  Use a screwdriver to loosen the screw about 2 rounds (for some reason, I think that it is screwed in too tight).  Replace the batteries and you are or that you set.

I can't guarantee that my methods will still work, but the fact is that it works for me since then.

  • Wired Optical mouse keeps freezing & has no lights

My wired microsoft optical mouse keeps freezing & the red light turns off. At present, it will work only after first off the entire computer & its reboot. However it only works for a few minutes.  This may be due to my 3 year old grandson disabled showing a lot of interest with small fingers in the below & red lights this afternoon. Bless!  Suggestions please?

If it flashes on and outside and dies at random... you probably need a new mouse.

Don't know what has been rough on me pointing out what is obvious.  Direct - Yes.  Probably what you end up doing - Yes.  Rude - I can't.

So, if I remember, the most expensive computer mouse was about $ 25,000 - yours is * definitely * an inexpensive mouse.  ;-)

If you want to try something before replace you... Try the mouse on another computer for a few days - it has the same difficulty?  If the answer is Yes - replace it.  If not - you probably been--but try a Different mouse on the computer in question.  Does show the same symptoms?  If so, chances are two things (the latter is more likely): 1) issue software - install the latest motherboard chipset drivers.  (2) USB port bad equipment - try a different USB port and/or get your motherboard extracted for hardware failure.
