  608d35518356ae28ab6cb8e8ck6b11b - this is what's wrong with the name of the Package.

  .bar signed for BB10 comes with Package name normal one specified in the config.xml file in the identification sticker. .bar signed for PlayBook OS comes with the package name that resembles what would like normal more lots of numbers uttachet him he looks a bit like a hash keyword.   The third option would be just to create something like 'Application for PlayBook' in portal provider, but that's all just stupid because it would be the same application but under different names therefore not cross-platform for users of BlackBerry ID.

  This is because that the WebWorks SDK for Tablet added a random GUID to the package ID to make it unique.  The BlackBerry 10 SDK is no longer for it.  Unfortunately, this means that if a developer rebuilt their code even using the SDK for the new platform, then BlackBerry World will not see them as being of the same application (since the internal ID is different).

  There is a solution - what you need to do is change the id property of your element in the config.xml file to match the package-name of the file 'manifest '. MF' Tablet-OS.

  Hi all

  I created a Blackberry WebWorks app, which works well in development mode that uses.  However, when I try to add to our BES 12 server I get the following message;

  An error has occurred. The application is not signed correctly and cannot be added.

  I have followed Server guides, but can't seem to make it work.  When the compiled application I get the following error message;

  C:\Users\myusername\Desktop\Blackberry\CRM\platforms\blackberry10\build\device\bb10app.bar

  So I followed the instructions 2.2 a lot more simple, but nd upward with the same error - access denied.

  There are a few possibilities.  There are 2 places of passwords can be set.  In your BlackBerry ID token (bbidtoken.csk) and your developer certificate (author.p12).  The WebWorks SDK requires two of them are the same (because there's only one entry for a password).  If they are different, recreate one of them, so they are doing and try again.

  It can also indicate an error file system permission to access the files required for code signing.  They are located in one of these directories:

  • Windows 8®, Windows 7®, and Windows Vista®: %HOMEPATH%\AppData\Local\Research in motion
  • Windows® XP: %HOMEPATH%\Local Settings\Application is moving
  • Mac OS: ~/Library/Research in motion
  • UNIX / Linux: ~/.rim

  Check the permissions on these files and folders are correct.

  Since I already had my created as part of the Flex application developer certificate, signature process, I tried to re-use and copied to the folder... \bbwp\bin.  I called this file certificate as 'devcert.p12 '.

  The FlexApp signature process was an input parameter to specify it. However the process of signature Webworks does not have this option and coming this file to be called 'sigtool.p12 '.

  The tool was not able to find my p12 file, as it was called "devcert.p12", once I renamed it to sigtool.p12, I am able to sign

  Recommendation to BB: could you add an extra parameter to "bbwp" to pass in the path to this file as input?

• No icon after installing the application

  I'm back in coding after a VERY long time (over 12 years) and am myself easing with HTML5 for the Playbook development. I managed to put together a very simple little app, especially as a test of the procedure for packaging and submission... and maybe get a free Playbook for my wife who covets my 64 GB baby!

  Anyway, had everthing packaged and signed using ripple (an excellent program once I worked out how to use it) and he expelled.

  Last night I got a reply that it had been rejected because "no icon after installing the application.

  When I sent the thing to Blackberry I included two .png files, which was to be used as an icon, but I think I was also to include in the compressed... am I right in thinking, I should have added a line of code in the XML file to set this?

  I feel like a total * beep *... like the time where I got a test paper in college without putting my name on it!

• BB10: My signed application does not open after Installation of device

  as the title suggests, does not open my signed application.

  A few facts:

  • When I touch my application signed on the device icon, the screen shakes from left to right, as a sign that he can't open.
  • It works fine when I use the debugging token and charge of QNX Momentics IDE.
  • I use a program called DDPB to install my signed. BAR in the device.
  • I signed with the same signature and with the same program (DDPB) other applications and they open.

When installing the application net_rim_bb_trust_application_manager raises an uncaught exception as if had been stalled and its eventqueue was too long. The application itself is installed and works perfectly after a battery pull.

  The problem is that the solution mentioned here does not solve my problem. My request to have multiple entry points and one of them is an autostart entry point but she must leave the application, unless a parameter in the application autostart enabled (which is not the default). I don't see how this should pose problems for the application manager.

  Not sure this is the same problem however, because the user described the problem as being present during the installation, date at which the device is fully functional.

  I agree that it is likely to be a permissions issue.  I saw on some devices that the app will throw a ControlledAcessException on first installation, associated with the PersistentStore.  My suspicion is that there is a kind of race condition between the code that runs the auto-start and the code that is supply completely, for the first time the auto start run on installation, the device is not ready for it.  I thought a few seconds delay automatic start of treatment of coding, but never tested it.

  Is it possible or that it will be possible to install an application signed without App World on a device over the air (OTA).

  Goal is to be able to send a version of the application that can get our servers, as we do now on handheld devices of beta-testers.

  It is impossible for applications to load side right now. I don't think it would be too difficult to get regular users put up with command line instructions, but I know not it is not a flawless process (and may cause headaches) but it's just what works for now.

• Encounted a question trying to install Adobe Application Manager after his purchase monthly void.

  I am running Windows 7 and have signed today for the trial of the creative cloud.  I am trying to download my first application (InDesign).  When you try to install Adobe Application Manager I download a 1866 KB file, then when I try to run it I get this error message (again and again, throughout the day): "the remote server does not properly.  Please try after a few minutes. »

  The only other things I can think of that may be relevant are 1) I have a few other licensed Adobe products installed on my drive (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat). (2) I have a few programs running, such as Spotify background; and (3) I have tried this for a work computer and I wonder if the network firewall or my permissions to download which is streaked with this place.
