install win7 clean E320

Hello

I put the new HARD drive to my new ThinkPad Edge E320 (1298) and I installed 64-bit win7sp1.

I found the driver download page but I don't know what to install and in what order... I just need working card graphics, wifi, ethernet and turn off wifi. I don't need all the 'cool' programs provided by lenovo.

I'm really lost, there are about 4 drivers for wifi... What am I supposed to install? what order?

or help

You can use the update system to automate.

Install the system update, do check it out for drivers and simply uncheck the things you don't want.

    Hello.

I've just formatted my laptop and reinstalled windows 7. I was installing the toshiba drivers required with success.

My fn keys work as they are supposed to but when I press on them no visualization for their function appears on the display.

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction on how to restore the display.

    Kind regards

According to specification s laptop computer, your laptop came with WIN7 64 BITS HOME PREMIUM.
Is there a problem with the operating system preinstalled, or you just want to have the other version of Win7?

Sorry for this question but I don t understand why make things more complicated if not necessary.
I just hope that you created the recovery DVDs until you have installed OS own.

In General, all the drivers, tools and utilities must be installed in the right installation order. Who knows how you installed it.
What you can try is to restart flash cards using option in the start menu > all programs > Toshiba > utilities.

    Test it.

  • Satellite Pro L650 - network driver Pb after re - install Win7

    Good afternoon.

A laptop computer was infected with a virus, so I re - install Win 7.
My problem is that all network devices don't have 'no driver for this device.
I install the drivers I download, but the problem is the same.
When I view the list of devices, the 3 devices 'unmanned' are:

    -Controller PCI (for simplified communications)

When I view hidden devices, I see 8 network cards "Miniport".

    Please, help me...
    Thank you.

Best option for you is to reinstall Windows 7 using original recovery image (operating system) you got with your laptop. This recovery image contains all the necessary drivers for all hardware components.

You have installed the Win7 clean version, right?

  • Need advice for installing Win7 on Satellite A300

    Hello

I intend to buy Satellite A300-1MT (PSAGCE), and before I do I just check if there are still some problems with drivers for W7 for this model?
On other forums, I saw that there are some problems with drivers like music keys, webcam, touchpad and FN keys and so on...

So, can someone confirm me that all drivers are now available and everything works?

And also until I started installing drivers is there anything I need to know (wait used?) Or perhaps better: does anyone have a special notice?

Please, find the will to respond! Thank you very much!

    Hello

I have the Satellite A300 running Win7 32 bit, but my model is PSAG8E.
To be honest I have very good experience with installing Win7 on Satellite A300 and I can recommend you to install on this Satellite.

If you visit the Toshiba support page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com > support & downloads you will see that your laptop model is supported Win7 and it shouldn't be problem to install all the necessary drivers and other stuff of Toshiba.

Here is the list how I did this exactly:
    atellite A300 (PSAG8E) and clean Win7

    -Win7
    -chipset driver
    -Storage Manager
    -display driver
    -driver sound
    -modem driver
    -utility supervisor
    -infrared
    -patches 1.2
    -configfree
    -VAP
    Hardware - toshiba
    Control - HDMI
    -WLAN driver

Everything works well but lacks some drivers

    Added Vista tips:
Toshiba - help - working properly
    -Card reader - installed correctly
-Webcam driver for A500 - tested with Skype - works correctly.
    Driver - Synaptics

Win7 works well and I am very satisfied. No problems with the feature keys FN.

If you are going to buy this laptop start installation Win7 following this order of installations. Please inform us of problems and I hope that we can help you about this.

  • Installing Win7 on Satellite A300-23d

    Hello

I went and got the Win7 in a store.
I realized that it would be preferable to install the Windows 7 with the help of KILLED because of the Toshiba utility... when I started killed HER, he stopped and said that "this model do not support win7 upgrade..."

This pc is 6 months old! How is it possible?
What to do? Can I put with none KILLED if so where can I get all the staff of Toshiba?

If you have original installations of Microsoft DVD for Win7 best solution is to do clean OS install and not upgrade.
Before Win7 installation please visit Toshiba Win7 download page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/windows7_drivers.jsp and check if you can find all the necessary drivers, tools and utilities for your laptop model.
So all the stuff from Toshiba is there then install Win7 and continue with the installation of the drivers.

By the way: before delete you everything in the disk HARD create Toshiba recovery DVD for Vista.
You may need in the future.

  • HP dv7-6b50eb: HP recovery launches the cloned SSD, impossible to install win7 on the SSD.

    Hello

I recently bought an SSD to accelerate my HP DV7. So I tried to clone my previous 1 TB to my 250 GB SSD hdd, but it seems that it's quite simple. :-(.

I have created the exact same partitions (with the same size, orders, except for my main Windows partition type of course being given my SSD is much smaller) on the SSD as on my old Hdd. After that I made an exact copy of each 3 partitions (HP Recovery partition, system and tools Hp) but instead of copying the windows partition, I left a void on the SSD as the size of the Windows on the old hard drive partition is larger (the data) than the available size on the remaining on the SSD partition. I thought that I could boot on the SSD drive and start the restore process to install Win7 on the empty partition. But when I restart the pc, it does not seem to recognize the boot SSD partition, he prefers not to say "No operating system found".

I also tried to activate the 3 partition directly (which is the recovery partition) to directly on boot as the partition, but it did not work either. The partition to activate before it was the 1st partition (which is the SYSTEM partition), but he has not worked either.

Can someone help me do that cloning to work?

FYI, I did the cloning and the creation of the partition using fdisk and dd on ubuntu.

    Thank you.

    Hi Wawood and Mista B,.

Thanks for your comments I have a previous message, but strangely I have not found trace of the previous message, maybe I forgot to press the 'POST' button:-s.

In any case, I was thinking that I understand your remarks Wawood but my goal isn't specifically for the windows on my new SSD partition (not interested in reducing the windows partition, it is just a statement), it was ok for me to any re - install from the recovery partition, a windows 7 from scratch.

And I'd say Mista B by saying that it would have been stupid HP do not allow someone to use the recovery on the same pc partition, just because it has a different hard drive.

Finally, I managed to do what I wanted to for those who are interested (HP is not so stupid after all:-p), here's the method I used to clone my hard drive of 1 TB to my 250 GB SSD and keep all the native HP (recovery, hp_tools, System) partitions with a 1 TB hard drive works correctly.

    So what I have is:

-J' put the SSD as a second drive on my laptop (I guess it should work in the same way if connected by USB)

-J' I started my pc and downloaded the EaseUs partition master

-J' ran the program and began by doing a thorough cleaning of the SSD

-J' made a copy of the system partition of my hard drive of 1 TB to my SSD

-J' made a copy of the partition my hard drive of 1 TB HP_TOOLS to my SSD

-J' made a copy of the recovery of my 1 TB hard drive partition to my SSD

-J' created a new empty NTFS partition in the remaining partition

I'm done with the same exact score as agenda in my 1 TB HDD.

    1. THE SYSTEM

    2 NTFS empty

    3 recovery

    4.HP_TOOLS

After that my SSD was not bootable, because the MBR has not yet been copied.

Then I started a live CD of Ubuntu and I installed boot-repair and he ran.

I chose the advanced options and set set the mbr and boot from the partition 3.

I then put the partition recovery (partition 3) as being ACTIVE.

I removed the hard drive of 1 TB of the laptop (to avoid any error during execution of recovery which ends with the recovered 1To:-p) beeing and replaced it with the SSD.

I then rebooted the laptop and it starts directly on the recovery partition. I finished in the recovery strategy (I could not choose the recovery from an earlier point in time given that the windows partition is empty (no windows backup)).

I chose over the full restore, the slight recovery with only OS and drivers and it does the job of recovery. Now that the of what I write this resolved thread :-).

Hope this helps some people out there with the same questions.

  • Features of HDX18t not recognized after installing Win7

After a clean install of Windows 7 Ultimate, Device Manager reports three devices Base system without driver and two unknown devices (ACPI\ENE0100 * ENE0100) and (USB\VID_138A & PID_0001 & REV_0372 USB\VID_138A & PID_0001).

As far as I know, all the USB ports work correctly, as does everything that I tested (some ports that I don't use).  I assume that ACPI has something to do with power management, but I can't find any other indications of power problems - well that I had to replace the battery not long before installing Win7 because it was not supported.

What are these five devices, and how can I find the drivers - especially for the three who seem not to identify?

I tried to use the tool "automatically find your products and solutions ', but it does not load in the latest version of SeaMonkey, and with IE9, it seems to start but shows no progress after more than an hour.

    Any suggestions?

  • Cannot install Win7

Hey everyone, I'm pretty knowledgeable when it comes to such things, but I'm totally stumped here.

I have an Inspiron 15 3537 which comes preinstalled with Win8. I hate it, so I want to install Win7.
My first question was that the laptop wouldn't start my Win7 DVD, but after doing some reading, I read that I had to turn off activate/UEFI Legacy - that worked. However, now that I formatted the laptop HARD drive, I can't choose the partition on which I would like to install Windows. I get an error message that says something like "Cannot install on this partition as the GPT is" or something like that.

I did some reading up on top of that question and it seems that I have UEFI enabled, but if it is enabled, I can't start the DVD.

    Someone pleeeeaaaase help!

    It's ok, I fixed it.
In the configuration screen, I press SHIFT + F10 and then access diskpart to clean the partition. All sorted now.

  • Installed CC Cleaner. It screwed up my Firefox. I have removed CC Cleaner, but Firefox is still screwed. Cannot make hotmail or gmail in Firefox

I installed CC Cleaner and ran cleaner and registry.

Now I can't use firefox on a variety of sites. They can do, but they do not work properly. I left all the javascripts, but I can still see my destination page (for example can connect to hotmail), but cannot go further (for example, cannot enter the Inbox)

I uninstalled CC Cleaner, but problems remain.

Should what settings change back? System Restore does not apply, and I can read my mail in IE (which I despise do), so how can I reset or correct my Firefox settings? I tried, but failed. Thank you!!

    You are welcome

  • NB550D-111 - can't change the display resolution after installing Win7 Pro

    Hi guys,.

After you install a clean install of Windows 7 Professional I can't get resolution, more than 800 x 600.
I went to the section of the driver and installed the good display driver for my NB550D-111: version 8.812.2.2 of the displaydriver.

After a reboot, still nothing happens and I can't change the resolution.
Trying to open the Catalyst Control Center results in nothing: I can't seem to open it.

I spent hours and hours trying to solve this problem, but need help at the moment.

    See you soon,.

    Tim

NB550D-111 has AMD HD graphics card 6250 and the same Satellite C660D (PSC1YE) or Satellite L775D (PSK5PE) then you can try using the display drivers for these laptops.

I n t have experience with NBs and cannot confirm this will help, but you can try it and send feedback.

  • Impossible to install win7 on a Tecra A8 with ssd

    Hi all

I am trying to install win7 on my Tecra A8 PTA83E and I have the following problem
-If the drive is a normal hard drive, then installation is complete OK
-If I change the disc with an ocz vertex turbo SSD, then the installation will stop, at the time when
Win7 try to unpack the installation files in the disc with an error message "file not found" or similar. "

I've been reading about SSD in the web and the prime suspect is the IDE - SATA in Bios mode, they
all you suggest changing the IDE - SATA mode to AHCI mode. I look in the Bios in Toshiba Utilities
    and not found anything.

Anyone know how to change the mode in the Bios, if course is supported?
Also, someone installed win7 SSD in other models and have any suggestions?

    I'd appreciate any suggestions.

    Hello

As I know the BIOS Tecra does not support this option.
But it s not no need to change something in the BIOS because the Windows 7 contains the necessary SATA drivers.

However, I think you should check the SSD manufacturer support page that maybe a firmware must be updated

I also recommend the formatting of this SSD again maybe it helps
