Install windows for primavera services services
Hello
I installed the 8.3 EPPM Primavera in windows 2008 64 bit.
I can able to start and stop the application via the console, the start_primavera, the command.
Here, I tried to install windows for admin primavera services, p6, p6ws. TeamMember, pr.
So I used the script for creating services windows below and created successfully, but at the start of the
Windows service its shows an error like ""Oracle_primavera_Admin service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other Services or programs"
file createSVC.cmd
echo off
SETLOCAL
Set DomainName = areas
Set USERDOMAIN_HOME = E:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\domains
Define SERVER_NAME = AdminServer
Set PRODUCTION_MODE = false
Set JAVA_VENDOR = Sun
Set JAVA_HOME=C:\Java\jdk1.6.0_35
MEM_ARGS =-Xms256m-Xmx512m set
call "E:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3\server\bin\installSvc.cmd".
ENDLOCAL
File InstallSVC.cmd
I edited the some changes like below
Set WL_HOME=E:\Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3
call "E:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\domains\bin\setDomainEnv.cmd".
If not "JAVA_VM %" == "" goto noResetJavaVM
If '% JAVA_VENDOR' is 'BEA' set JAVA_VM = jrocket
If "% JAVA_VENDOR" == "" set JAVA_VM =-Server HP
If '% JAVA_VENDOR' is 'Sun' set JAVA_VM =-customer
Hello
The problem is solved now.
Solution:
1. Select the Windows 'Start'-> 'Run'-> 'regedit '.
2. in the registry editor, navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Services/beasvc
3. double-click the variable 'CmdLine' and change the 'value data' of "-client" to "-Server". For example change: -client-Xms32m-Xmx200m - XX: MaxPermSize = 128 m etc... TO: -Server-Xms32m-Xmx200m - XX: MaxPermSize = 128 m etc... Its been bugging me. Thank you Kumar

Problems installing updates for xp service pack 2
I am not able to install xp sp2 on my computer. I have xp home edition, version 5.1 and is running xp sp1. After the update download I get an error message saying it could not read the files (or something like that), I tried to run the update from windows update and the site Ms... or install it. I also followed the instructions on the tech support site where he suggested I had a few missing files... did and does still not can not... someone please help me... I really need this patch because I can not download any current software without the sp2 of xp... Thank you!
You need to start from the square.
Personal data backup (which none should be considered 100% reliable at this point) then format the HARD disk and do a clean install of Windows. Please note that a repair installation (upgrade AKA on-site) will NOT fix it!
HOW to do a clean install of Windows XP: see method 1 and http://michaelstevenstech.com/cleanxpinstall.html#steps in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/978307
Once installed the clean, you will have the equivalent of a "new computer" in order to take care of everything on the next page before connecting the machine to the internet or a local network (i.e. other computers) and before using a USB or SD card that is not brand new, or has not been freshly formattedotherwise:

NB: No matter what Norton or McAfee free trial which is preinstalled on the computer when you bought will be reinstalled (but invalid) when Windows is reinstalled. You MUST uninstall the trial for free and download/run the appropriate removal tool before installing updates, Service Packs Windows or IE upgrades and before installing your new anti-virus application (which will require WinXP SP3 must be installed).

NOTE: do NOT connect the computer to the internet until you got installed SP3 and make sure that the Windows Firewall is enabled! Use another computer to download the appropriate removal tool as well as programs for Service Packs of Windows XP installation, you will need.

original title: hyperbowl will not start in XP SP3 / cannot install KB924867
Hello
I just reinstalled windows XP and done all the updates. I then reinstalled hyperbowl 3d and it will not open up. Now it used to be that if you ran the update:
Update for Windows XP (KB924867) http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?DisplayLang=en&id=6446
It would solve this problem (see http://hyperbowl3d.com/oldsupport.html).
I downloaded the update, and it says:
"Setup has detected that the version of Service Pack for this system is newer than the update you are applying"
So I can't install the update. Is it possible to reinstall this hotfix without remove SP3 or is there another work around, I can use?
Thanks in advance!
Welcome & thank you for your comments.

Installation problem
Hello
Not much to go here, but I'll try my best.
First of all, I hope that your PC has a floppy drive. If it isn't, this isn't the end of the world, but it will make things much more complicated.
Second, you must make sure that your motherboard BIOS is set according to your desired disk configuration. AHCI or RAID is the best but RAID is only if you want to set up a RAID. If you select IDE maybe you don't need the Setup F6 disk and the driver installation mentioned below.
You have perhaps been provided with F6 floppy by your motherboard manufacturer but, if not, download the XP driver for your SATA controller from the manufacturer's web site and create your own F6 driver diskette.
You must start your PC from the windows CD. Very shortly after the installation starting to show prompted to press F6 to another pilot. You have to hit F6 when you see this prompt. A few minutes later you will be asked to insert the Setup disk and identify your SATA controller. You should be able to continue with the installation later.
It is a simplified version of what needs to be done and only goes up to get the installation to begin.
If you want more specific help you should repost with exactly what installation problem that you are experiencing.

need an iso file to install windows for windows vista Home premium 32-bit
I have a product key, but need Windows vista Home Premium (32 bit) ISO because I lost the part recovery partition
Hello
There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.
You can contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send you a set of recovery disks.
They should do this for a small fee.
To reinstall Vista using their recovery disk/s, you start from the 1st recovery disk they provide and follow the manufacturer's instructions to reinstall:
You need to change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order:
How to change the Boot order in BIOS:
http://pcsupport.about.com/od/fixtheproblem/SS/bootorderchange.htm
"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.
http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246
Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.
If this happens, you may need to try this instead:
You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.
Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.
And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs
Here's how to do a clean install of Vista using a DVD of Vista from Microsoft:
"How to do a clean install and configure with a full Version of Vista '
http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/117366-clean-install-full-version-Vista.html
And once the operating system is installed, go to your computer manufacturer's website and get the latest drivers for your particular model or laptop computer.
And phone Activation may be necessary when you use the above installation method.
"How to activate Vista normally and by Activation of the phone '

So I bought a laptop computer in a store with windows 7, but I want to recover my last windows 8 that I bought for my laptop earlier which has now been stolen. Is it possible to do also, I would like to disable windows from my other laptop stolen one. How can I be able to do? I have received and all billing.
A healthy suggestion will be appreciated.Kind regards.Hi Daniel,.
Sorry for the delay in response.
When you have only a single license for the copy of Windows 8 and you tried to reinstall the same copy on a new or different computer and activate it on the new computer, you'll start to get the guests of activation on the old computer to activate windows.
You must activate the copy on the old computer with a new license key or install another version of Windows.
Since you have already activated the copy on a new computer, it will automatically get turned off in the computer else or stolen and Windows 8 on the old computer will start to give the activation of Windows invites you to get the active copy.
Hope the helps of information. Let us know if you need help with Windows related issues. We will be happy to help you.

Why should I install windows for VSA?
I bought some VSA licenses for a DMZ environment, where I thought it would be perfect... low performance requirements and some HA at an affordable price. I also intend to buy it for all of our small satellite offices. But then I discovered that I couldn't use the new device of vcenter and instead, I have to install mgmt vcenter & vsa on a windows server... say it isn't so!
Are there plans to allow a vsa, using the device of vcenter linux configuration? We vcenter on windows/sql for our large environments but I was really looking forward to the simplicity and reliability and low cost of linux for kids installs.
The new VSA is written in Java, so nothing prevents VMware more wear to the VCVA. I feel that since the VSA and VCVA 1.0 occurred, once these two have been cooked, you will probably see VSA be taken in charge or running within VCVA. Are a lot of scripts batch that performs the installation, upgrade, restore, etc. then that would need to be re-written in a Linux environment, but there is no technical reason it does not work on VCVA

Windows XP SP3 problem
Recently, I met a problem with my PC and was forced to use the system recovery. Now I'm back to factory settings and try to install Windows XP Service Pack 3 on my computer. Windows Update won't work for me, that whenever I try to update I get [error number: 0x8024400A]. I think it's because I use Service Pack 2, or that's what I concluded after researching the problem, anyway.
This is not my real concern, however. Because I could not get the update automatically, I tried to download and install the "Windows XP Service Pack 3 Network Installation Package for IT professionals and developers" myself. The first time I did it, I restarted the PC after the installation and was met with "We apologize for the inconvenience, but Windows did not start successfully. A recent hardware or software change might have caused this. " I went into safe mode and went to a just system restore point before SP3 was installed, but now I don't know how to install it correctly without encountering this problem after reboot. I'm hardly the easy just stick with SP2 when there are potentially important available updates. How can I get Windows Service Pack 3 is installed on my PC?
It's certainly interesting!
If the cause of your problem is to have a HP PC with an AMD processor and an original image on your hard drive (and of course it sounds like this is the case), the solution should be to rename the file intelppm.sys and launch the sp37394.exe patch. Once done, the SP3 file that you downloaded from here:SHOULD work!I'm puzzled why there is no intelppm.sys file in your directory C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers.Since you recently returned to square one with your PC ("return to factory settings"), then you may as well run the patch from this page:and try the SP3 Setup file again. But, first, let's be absolutely sure that we are both using the same terminology. Please answer the following questions:1. have you safely backed up ALL your data?2. what method did you use to ride "back to factory settings? I think that your choices have been a destructive restore (full) and a (partial) non-destructive recovery. The first erases the disk and leave you with a pristine image and NOTHING ELSE (which means that all of your programs and data get deleted). The other (which does not always correctly) is supposed to leave programs and data intact. -
Original title: problem after installing Windows Service Pack 3 on Windows XP Home Media edition pc
My pc runs Windows XP Home Media edition. I installed Windows Service Pack 3 successfully, or so I thought. Whenever I turn on my pc a box opens indicating "files which are required for Windows to run properly have been replaced by unrecognized versions." To maintain the stability of the system. Windows must restore the original versions of these files. Install your Windows XP Professional CD2. I don't have any Windows XP Professional CD that I use the Home Media Edition. If I press Cancel repeatedly, the window disappears to return with the same information, but ask me to install Windows XP Professional CD3. How can I stop this happening?
Hello
Step 1: I suggest you perform the SFC scan on the computer and check.
SFC tool scans system files and replaces incorrect versions of system files by using the correct versions.
To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
1. Click Start and type cmd in the box start the search.
2. right click on cmd in the list programs and then click Run as administrator.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue
3. at the command prompt, type the following line and press ENTER:sfc/scannow
Step 2: Also, look for error messages in the event viewer. If you find error messages after return the exact error message so that we can help you better.
