Standard theme icon

Is it possible to get standard theme icons?

For example when you try to save a picture after the use of the camera, the Rename dialog box has an icon in the upper left corner. It is standardized and appear more then once.

Nevermind, found. Bitmap.getPredefinedBitmap (int).

    Hello

    try going to your graphic card manufacturers site or computer and are looking for the driver download section

    Search your computer or graphics card model number based on what you have and download and install the latest graphics drivers for vista

    then repeat settings

    If the foregoing does not it, try this;

    Run the sfc/scannow command.

  • Frame around a user icon?

    I created two user accounts.  An administrator and a Standard.  At the logon screen, two photo icons consist of the image framed by what I can best describe as a monitor, so that they each resemble pictures on a TV/monitor screen.  So far nothing unusual.  But one of them, the Standard account icon, has an additional, unique, line the rectangular frame surrounding it.  Can someone tell me what this indicates this icon?  I have created additional accounts to see if they got this extra framing around them.  They do not have.

    I found the answer on another forum.  Thanks for the help.  Here's the answer;

    This framework has nothing to do with the question of whether it is a standard or
    Administrator account. Once you have a second active account
    (it could be a guest account), the second image is to indicate
    the selected account. If you use the slider to select the account,
    It does not matter, but you can use your cursor, then
    Press enter as well.

    I didn't know until I started in Vista and created two standard
    accounts, an alphabetical order before my real account and one after.
    When I rebooted, all three accounts have been displayed on the screen
    (one of the new accounts had a password and the other does not
    in case that makes a difference) the one on the left was more the
    second line of frame around it. Then I could move this line with my
    left/right cursor keys to select the account I want to boot into.

    UPDATES: check my Windows 7 computer (set up a second user)
    This is true as well. In XP, active users are willing
    vertically and selected one is highlighted by a darker blue
    highlight around the id user, fading of the light blue background
    to the right. In both cases, the cursor keys can be used to change
    the selected user. On XP, the password box is presented to the
    the selected user in Windows 7 and Vista, the password box is only
    presented after you hit enter or click on it.

  • After changing themes in Vista, all my windows went dark? __

    Reading that Vista's Aero theme uses a lot of RAM, do not love the blue Vista Basic and two classic Windows & Standard themes are almost identical, though the marine blue headers are a shade different, I went shopping [search] for the theme XP Home, I miss to see if there was a version downloadable from 'measure' and usable in my Vista Home Premium 32 SP2. At the moment where I participated in this [ago about 2 weeks] I know that I was looking for the XP theme is called "Luna". Early in my research on Bing, Google, Yahoo etc, I found myself at Club Vista and then the Windows Club where I came across a theme called Royal XP and I thought that it must be because that the XP theme always had a Royal Blue header, so I downloaded the offering, and it came in the form of .zip file so I extracted to C:\ Windows\Resources\Themes [where the Aero folder is kept] but I forgot to make a 'Royal XP' folder so it spread out under the Aero folder in individual parts so to speak. Well, I thought that badly. It wasn't the version theme I was looking for. Not being a program to uninstall, I started to delete the parts in this big enough components bouquet and I think I accidentally deleted the file "msstyles" which was outside of the Aero folder and out of this place to the desktop, most of my system enabled Windows dark as in the dark with a few icons and windows and black message boxes of gout black and so on. All Windows Explorer windows are black with visible folder icons. There is no readable text. I see some Internet, but the browser is black and start the search by clicking the mouse to find the corner close button. If a message window appears like UAC asking permission and can't seem to find who continue button, the only recourse is to restart and start menu is too dark. I can read the incoming emails, but when I try to reply or forward the window becomes black. Completely at a standstill with the use of a problem of "lights" out, I write from a computer at the public library, and I hope that in the years past answers has corrected me and I realize that I have deleted or moved by accident a very critical file and cannot locate in the Recycle Bin to restore because it is only black in any window of Solution Explorer. I was unable to use the restore of the system for the same reason, and now the problem is two weeks. When I put the Vista disc indeed possible repair, disk window is black. I hope I can get some initial ideas. Thank you.

    Hi jondan7,

    You deleted the file is a system file, you can scan the SFC on the computer to replace corrupted or missing system files.

    Scan SFC enforcement procedure:

    1. click on the Start button
    2. on the Start Menu, click all programs Accessories followed
    3. in the menu Accessories , right-click on command line option
    4. in the menu that appears, click on the option "Run as Administrator"
    5 If you have the enabled User Account Control (UAC) you will be asked to consent to the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.
    6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press enter
    7. a message is displayed to indicate that "the analysis of the system will start.
    8. be patient because the analysis may take some time
    9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue
    10. If all goes although you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection found no violations of integrity."
    11 after the scan finished, close the command prompt window reboot the computer and check.

    The analysis may take some time, so be patient. Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows Vista installation CD.

  • Size of the application icon... Home screen will not use the right one. Help!

    I thought I could include different sizes of icons (ie. 48 x 48, 32 x 32, etc.) and the camera choose the size of the device or the theme-appropriate application icons. Of course, this isn't the case. So, how do you get the device to use the right size for the theme icon?

    For example, I have a Verizon 8330 (curve) and the theme of Verizon uses sizes 48 x 48 icons. If I use a size of 48 x 48 icon to my app, it looks great. However, if I change the theme of one of the standard BB Dimension themes, it will be small scale my icon 48 x 48, 32 x 32, which seems quite bad. Why does not he chooses the icon size 32 x 32 I understand? How can I provide both sizes and have it use the correct size according to the theme? It looks even worse when I use 32 x 32 and he then it extends to 48 x 48. Help!

    You'll have to do it by programming it your application startup.  You can use the following code to get the width and height of the icon:

    int height = net.rim.blackberry.api.homescreen.HomeScreen.getPreferredIconHeight();
    int width = net.rim.blackberry.api.homescreen.HomeScreen.getPreferredIconWidth();

    Then set the using the appropriate icon:

    net.rim.blackberry.api.homescreen.HomeScreen.updateIcon( icon );

  • Smartphones from blackBerry using my own desktop image with different themes... Please help.

    Hello, I hope that this is possible. I have a Verizion Curve 8330. With the standard theme of Verizon, I was able to put my picture on the desktop (for lack of a better word). I like the Zen theme and I was wondering if I could put my image of the desktop in this theme. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Save image on your device. Ensure that its dimesions is 320 x 240 pixels (or proportional size which can be reduced by an image editor). Otherwise the image will be adjusted not a kind of 'look fancy' on your device.

    Place the image file on your report card micro-sd (in pictures).

    Unplug your device from the desktop computer, and open the media icon. Open 'Pictures' icon.

    Search for the image file in the image list.

    Select and open the menu.

    Select in the menu: "set as home screen Image".

    To transfer files to your sd card there are two ways: use of Media Manager and use your Blackberry as a USB device.

  • iPad App Navigation icons

    Hello members,

    I'm developing a guide 'How to use this app' for our iPad magazine and I was wondering if anyone knows where I can download the standard button icons used to navigate around the app (the buttons attached image). I searched on the web and the Apple developers looking for wired images site, etc., but it doesn't seem to be anything available. I need buttons to be vector quality.

    Thanks for your help.

  • Toolbar icons small steps display correctly in FF8

    I've recently updated Firefox 7 to version 8. Since the upgrade, if I use the default theme and the value of the toolbar for use small icons, instead of the usual icons shadow dark I get white without shading.

    The icons are white with black borders single-pixel-width and internal details. They are very bland and, frankly, ugly.

    This only happens with the default theme (strata) and ONLY if the toolbar is using SMALL icons. If I go into the Customize Toolbar dialog box and uncheck the 'use small icons', I get the icons of normal layers again. And if I switch to another topic entirely, I get icons of this theme, of course.

    Are these little 'New' for the default theme icons? If so, I'd rather have the 'old' return.

    EDIT: I just realized, 'white' icons appear only if the "Tabs on top" property of the toolbar is DISABLED. If I re - check to move the toolbar under the tabs, I recover the shaded icons. Uncheck the new box and return the white icons.

    I tried to restart Firefox in Safe Mode, by the way and get this same behavior. I'm starting to think that this is normal...

    There was a change in Firefox 8. See this related semi dicussion of small buttons on the Navigation bar, the OP's problem is different from your, but change is explained here.

    Hi Chaps,

    I put a larger HD in my P100-429 and used the supplied CD and re - install and downloaded the 150 M of updates for XP MCE. Everything seems to go well with a very annoying exception. Theme XP guard reset the XP standard theme when I want to start the classic theme. Go to change the theme again and some places the theme will be reported as XP and others as classic. Anyone have any ideas on how to get Windows "remember" the setting correctly?
