  My question concerns a reinstall of my production premium suite cs6. I have to do a reinstall of my windows 7 which became unstable and am upgrading to a new hard drive to SSD. Therefore, I have to reinstall all my other programs too of course. When it comes to my adobe product I'm unsure of the steps required to get to reinstall it to work. Is it enough to simply reinstall, re - enter my serial number? Or, I have to disable each product first? Or do I need some sort of contraption of adobe license transfer?

  No transfer of license is necessary if you do not change the owner of the software.  Normally, if you have a Creative Suite, disable a program will disable the entire suite.  It would help if you turn it off.

  The serial numbers will be not visible within the program, but you might be able to extract the old installation by using one of the tools below...

  HOWEVER... If CS6 has been installed BY an employee of the University, I THINK that you do not actually have the software, and you will not be able to activate the software because you are not the owner and that you do not have the ID of origin used for initial installation and activation

  I moved from Creative Suite 5 from my old MacBook Pro to my new MacBook Air and followed instructions to turn off activation on the new and the old but only Photoshop and Illustrator work. I also need to get InDesign, Acrobat, Dreamweaver, and Fireworks. Is there a way to fix this? Problem with the MacBook Air is it is not a hard drive so I had to transfer it via external hard drive.

  The problem is that you need to install CS5 from a setup file or the installation disc. You cannot just copy files because there are a lot of additional files that get to the right place.

  You will need to use the Adobe cleaner to remove all the stuff on your new computer:
