Installation of Officejet 5610

I bought a new computer with Windows 7, I downloaded the drivers on the HP site and followed the instructions.

Scanner has not been downloaded, I fax and print only.

How can I solve this problem?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I've reloaded the software from the website and now works ok.

Thanks for your suggestion.

    Hello

First of all, please make sure that you use the following Setup program, with the sam file name and size:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=Al-75052-1&cc=us&DLC=en&LC=en&OS=4063&product=441125&sw_lang=

On the start menu click folder in the search bar and open the temp folder listed.

Select all the files in this folder and delete them, then the trash emprty (these are all temporary files, it is safe to remove).

If some files cannot be deletions ignore these files... as soon as there is any remaining files, but there are several remining files you are fine.

Then try to run the Setup file again and check any change.

If it persists, open the folder %Temp%, and then open the HP installation folder that begins with 7z.

Open the Util folder then the CCC folder.

Run the Uninstall_L4.bat file. If nothing appears only a CMD dialog box after a few sewconds click Enter and follow the uninstall by confirming one of these... more complete uninstallation, restart your PC as required and try to reinstall the software.

  • HOW TO PRINT FROM TABLET RT FOR HP OFFICEJET 5610

Help!  I have a new tablet.  I use old operating systems of Windows on an old Toshiba laptop for years.  Now, I have a tablet of RT and it seems everything has changed!  I downloaded the driver for my HP Officejet 5610 all-in-one and it would not install it.  He recommended that I go to the "store".  What the devil?

Hi MontanaDawn, welcome to the Forums of HP. RT of Windows does not use the driver installs as in ordinary Windows. Printer media shall be natively for it to work in Windows RT. RT of Windows supports several HP printers, I don't know if it's a printer supported however. Plug the USB cable and the RT Windows Installer if he can. If it is not this printer will not work with this operating system.

If this does not work, these documents will show you how to print and scan.

  • Officejet 5610 - constantly updated duty to update

I have an Officejet 5610.  Operating system is Vista SP1.  About 3 - 4 times a week I'm being invited to re - install the drivers when I turn on the printer.  The Officejet is my default printer.   I have reinstalled drivers several times.  Eash time in this case, I am also be prompted to configure the fax and register the product.  I did this several times also.  Y at - it a fix for this problem? Thank you!

the installation starts from 96%? If this is the case, then type "services.msc" in the run window, look for the HP CUE Device Discovery Service. Double-click it, then click the Stop button to stop the service, and then change the startup type to disabled. Click on apply and reboot PC huh and then check if you get the installation once more. Ideally, you should not.

  • OfficeJet 5610 install not on Windows 7

Our new Dell Pro Windows 7 64-bit system will not install the all-in-one OfficeJet 5610 printer software.

First attempt of installation since the downloaded software and driver from the HP website.

Second attempt from the CD that we purchased at HP for Windows 7 specifically.

Attempts to start the installation, it passes by the process of extracting the files... and then the installation screens go away and never come back.  There seems to be no kind of progress bar or error messages or the other.

We went through the suggested topics to disable startup programs, TSR, uninstall previous installations etc. but without any help.

I have not tried to install this on another Windows 7 system yet, but it's my other next step in this weird problem.

    Please help this confused soul.

    Thank you

    Kim

    This problem is now solved...

The process of setting was to unplug the USB cable from the printer.

Remove the printer from the list of printers in the printers on Windows 7 and peripheral area

Run the software provided on the CD from HP (probably could use the downloaded files from HP support)

The installation after you select INSTALL from the pop-up window (it will show also read - me, etc...)

The following screen speaks of warnings and you must check the "agree"box to continue

This next page is where I clicked on each of the four options and modifications

The part that shows each item to be installed is the place where I unchecked all except the first checkbox
Make sure that you open and exit of each 4 selections (they take a different color when you do)

Click on the button continue, and this time, you will come to a point where the software finally will ask you to connect the Flash DRIVE to the printer.

Now, rerun the package a 2nd time and a screen will come asking you to install "additional software".

Select each (OCR proper recognition, shop for ink and paper etc...) and let the software run to the finish.

Now restart your system and "solutions" HP center icon should now be on your desktop.

BTW, I tried to use the 'install your printer on Windows 7 Wizard' and the different 8 times, he tried to download 380Mb file, he finished only once.  Other times, he died on the time and amounts by saying that the 'download has been cancelled' Nice a HP... Attach it to a minimum so that we can continue with a download point of failure vs having to start over from the beginning. 8 x 17 minutes is 136 minutes of time lost.

Please mark this as a correction of a problem.

also please email me at {removed personal information} if anyone has questions about this problem.  I'd love to help you.

  • Officejet 5610: color printing

I can't print in color. I can copy in color and the printer test page showed color bars. I checked the printer preferences and grayscale is not checked.

    Hey there @harw75!

Thanks for posting on the HP Forums!

I should be able to provide some suggestions that can help find a resolution!  It's good to hear that the printer is able to copy or print as self-test in color!  This indicates that the printer hardware is working properly and that you are probably looking to a software problem.

The first thing I recommend is to uninstall the HP software. Once the uninstall is complete, it would be wise to perform a cleanup of the computer disk. A disk cleanup will improve the performance of the computer and remove the temporary files that may cause problems during the installation of the software. Once disk cleanup you must restart the computer and reinstall the HP software.

To uninstall the HP software, click here: uninstall the HP software

To perform a disk cleanup, click here: perform a disk cleanup

To download the HP software, click here: HP Officejet 5610 full feature software and drivers

Please post back and let me know if this worked for you!

  • All-in-one HP Officejet 5610: Scanner not found

    Hello

I have HP Officejet 5610 all-in-one printing and I use OS X 10.6.8.  I tried to launch the CD supplied with the printer, but that he would be stuck after a few percentage of the installation.  I repeated this process of restarting the laptop and unplug the printer to reset.  Nothing worked so I used the download software/driver online and everything was set up beautifully.  Now, when I tried to analyze one of my papers it says "scanner could not be initialized" because the scanner was not found.

Any help is appreciated, I just need this scanner upward and the work.

    Hello

The HP Scan Pro is a very old application for Mac SO X 10.4 or 10.5 and not for your current operating system.

From the Applications folder go to Hewlett-Packard and follow the HP uninstaller program to remove the old software on your Mac.

Once you are done, download and install the latest version of the software for OS X 10.6 from the following link, then you can scan using the HP scanning software:

  • Why windows 7 (64 bit) download does not work for a hp officejet 5610 all-in-one?

I changed operating systems from XP to Windows 7 (64 bit) on a new Toshiba Portege laptop and downloaded the new drivers from the HP site for my all-in-one Officejet 5610.  Nothing went well.  I can print but not scan, and often copy is extremely slow for no apparent reason.

I deleted the driver downloaded several times and re-uploaded to start from scratch, but get the message "Fatal error during installation."  I used HP correction for this, did everything it says and ran the download as an administrator.  When the "USB connection" screen, I connect the USB as requested, and I hear my computer accepts this connection.   But the HP installer does not accept or acknowledge inserting the USB key.  It hangs at that time here, and keeps installation disc FOREVER chasing the USB connect screen.

When I open the HP Solution Center, he informs me that he cannot work because the download of device is not complete.

There is no file 'help' in the menu 'start '.

I'm running out of ideas on how to make my printer work properly with the new Windows 7 system.

    Someone at - it suggestions?

In the case where you hear the ding that the USB cable is connected and that the software does not recognize it, it means that at any given time you connected to the computer via the USB port before running the software. When you do so, Windows takes over and tries to install their own drivers. That causes problems later, when you try to use the software, as it will then not connect when you use the USB cable.

In this case, you must connect via the usb port and go into Device Manager and remove everything related to your printer. After you do this, unplug the USB cable and restart your computer. When starting BACK, run the software FIRST and then when he asks the USB cord this time, it should recognize the connection.

  • 550-130Z Pavilion: Officejet 5610 advance paper, but nothing is displayed

After you set up a new office - the Pavilion 550-130Z running Windows 10 - my trusty printer - Officejet 5610 will not print. It feeds the paper and is as it will be printed, but he gave up and just the paper very quickly and stops.   I downloaded and ran the printer and Scan Dr.  It is said that everything is fine.  When I try to copy a document, it works very well.  I ran a self-test of the control panel of the printer report and print correctly.  But it won't work if I try it queue of my new office!

I'm sure it's a driver issue, but I can't find anything to download to fix this problem.

    Help, please!

    Thank you!

    Hi LKNLady,

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

I understand that you have a printer of HP all-in-one Officejet 5610 you use with your desktop Windows 'new' 10, and even if she copies and prints fine self-tests, sending print jobs through the print queue do not print. I would like to help with that.

Thanks for letting me know about the copy and auto tests. It definitely seems to be a software problem and the pilot.

You mentioned that you downloaded and ran HP print and Scan Doctor to see that everything is OK, but the printer still does not the computer print.

First of all, I would like to start by ensuring that your new computer has completed all available updates.

Then I would uninstall all the installed printer software previously, the I would like to use the HP printer installation wizard to proceed with the installation. This tool will help you find the drivers and printing software more suitable for Windows 10.

Please let me know if that solves the problem, or if you need assistance.
