Installation of WOW

I use windows 7 brand new system. no error message I load the game and mouse icon freezes on the screen, you can move the mouse around and finally he hightlight text on the screen, but the icon remains still in place don't move not. Very frustrating to try to place the game. I put the properties to run until the administrator has closed all programs on the start menu. the mouse works fine on any other program, but WOW, once you click play... the arrow stuck ur. the keyboard responds well to commands located in the game, but it remains difficult to play the game without the cursor of the mouse on the screen. tried the windows 7 compatibility it was running sound but does not seem to solve the problem. Other ideas a greatly welcomed and appreciated.

try to update the chipset drivers you have, and reinstall the game.

I promise you that you should under no circumstances use a clue as to get WoW to play on any version of Windows 7.

You must run the installation of WOW as an administrator, or update downloads, you need to install do not work well. You end up with messages to not be able to create a file. My son had the same problem. He contacted WOW yesterday and said what I said above. After reinstalling the administrator its works very well.

You can check the troubleshooting on the WOW site or after your problem here and someone will help you. WOW isn't exactly what Windows 7 friendly.

  • Reference Dell Open manage for PE2950 for WS2012R2

I tried to access the management system opened on our hyper-v Server today, but my manager told me that there is no such thing as a version of open management, for the PE2950 on Windows Server R2 2012 and it is out there for something fancy like a R6 * / 7 * /-8 *.

I know it's there because I installed it in the last company I did part of the management, but for the life of me, only two years later, I can not understand where we got the original installation to do this.

I downloaded installed three or four to manage open on the page drivers for our service number, but one of them came with "[I'm just a patch]" and the other three have indicated that they were not compatible. Even if we set the operating system to Windows Server 2012 R2, it always gives me "for 32-bit node,' then maybe we're missing something else.

I am hoping to win the lottery here and have a Dell technician take pity on me and direct me to a FTP location I can give to my manager so that we can get this software down to all the systems in our network.

I can't be the only person who has faced this issue, but I may be the only person who was not able to fix it on their own.

    Help, please.

Fake. You will find it at support.Dell.com, select your system, change the selection in the drop-down list of OS, then check out managing systems for OpenManage Server Administrator (Managed Node). The 32-bit version is fine and installation of WoW 64-bit operating systems will be activated (all except the ' core' by default).

  • Problems of wow on installation of updates

I'm having a problem with my generation system restore points and the calendar on my updates of wow. Can someone give a hint on how to stop this re-occuring problem?

    Meghmala,

Thanks for the help. In fact, I went through all the steps listed before you see your son, but the info you gave was on. I'm failing to close a part of my security set-up, and who has been hold up all the time. I guess that's always the last place you look right ;-)? Thanks again for your contribution, he helped burn the process in my memory, so I certainly not minor measures again.

  • Installation of Win 7 without losing the Toshiba Qosmio G50 applications

How to get a new install of Windows 7 x 86 running on a Qosmio G50.

It is assumed that you have a version of Vista x 86 installed.
First I must say, I'm from the Germany. So, I loaded the drivers on the European side of Toshiba.
The problem with a new facility is that you lose some applications preinstalled Toshiba as the DVD or Ulead DVD player.

You can skip these steps if you do not need.

In the recovery partition, you will find all the files needed for the installation of this software program.

    # Install the Setup Kit automated Windows (Windows AIK). This installs a driver you must mount the image files.
    # Create two directories to join and mount the image.
    # The use of the Witch of the imagex tool is a command line tool, located in the directory your recovery partition tools and explained in the WAIK kit and on the Microsoft Support online help. A good idea is the imagex command /?.
    # Use the imagex tool and join the stormwater management files in the directory root of your recovery partition in a file wim in one of your previously created directories. ------Open the command prompt and use the command: ' imagex/export path\first.swm 2 directory\named.wim banker path\ * .swm "-where first.swm is the file management of rainwater without number, in my case, a file named xxxx.swm. The second file is named xxxx2.swm. 2 is the image to be saved, named.wmi is the name of your attached image file and path\ * .swm is the path to all the files in your directory of recovery stormwater management.
    # Now to mount the wim with the imagex tool file in your directory of a second. ------On the command prompt, use this command: directory of imagex/mount path\name.wmi 1. ------Where path\name.wmi is the path and name of the file created in step four. You have saved the image in step 4, is the only image to mount. Directory is the path to the mountain where you will find the directories for the next steps.
    # Now you will find in this directory a folder Toshiba. Expand this folder, and go to Drivers\BTOAPP. The subfolders contain all the installation files for the applications that you can not download from Toshiba. Record everything you need in a safe place for later use.

Reverence English for the imagex tool:
    http//technet.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc749447 (WS.10) .aspx

Now, you download the necessary drivers and software side Toshiba and also to store them in a secure location.
As my G50 comes with two disks, I stocked up on the second disc. You can also use any USB storage device.

Here is a driver and software registration on the side European Toshiba:

If you want to use a Media for the Media Center Extender, installing fingerprint software to get the driver for the sensor and uninstall it. This software prevents the Extender to connect to your media library.

Now, install the applications according to the needs in alphabetical order. You'll miss the DVD player. Do not install from your old sources, it will fail. Download and install it to a Satellite Pro S300. Then, run the update DVD player check tool. This will take you to a download from Toshiba. Download and install this, it's a silent installation. After, you have a HD DVD player using the HD processor and the switch "upconvert".

WOW! Very useful and long display
I think it may be very interesting for others with Qosmio G50 unit.

I had a few problems although the Marvel Yukon Ethernet PCI on my Debian installation. I bought this laptop because it seems feet all my needs, with a good size RAM, processor and HD (the only problem is the computer keyboard, which are starting to make noises of ugly typing after a while).

This post is dedicated to helping other users who want to use almost any flavor of Linux to their specifications U405 series.

In the first place, in order to have a work of U405-S2854 laptop with good resolution of 1280 x 800, I had to abandon my old friend Debian Etch (stable - 2.6.18 kernel) and installation of Debian Lenny (testing - 2.6.24 kernel) because the package 'xserver-xorg' in Debian Etch problems to recognize the Intel VGA controller. I spent hours looking for a good solution to [www.intellinuxgraphics.org | www.intellinuxgraphics.] org Web site] without success.

Well well... a little conversation and a LOT more action:

If you have installed a 2.6.18 kernel or the oldest one, the X server will probably be able to recognise your VGA controller and configure it as a VESA adapter, using resolution 1024 x 768, if you are satisfied with this (poor) resolution just go on the site [http://www.marvell.com/drivers | http://www.marvell.com/drivers] download, install your new Ethernet controller and live happily ever after.

But if you use a 2.6.24 kernel from, then the X server can really identify your "+ VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller +" you can face some problems to install your Ethernet card. The good news is that I found someone who has solved the problem!

All you need to do is open a terminal and copy - paste the following commands.

    . $ sudo knew.
    (enter your password)
    . # rmmod sky2
    . # cd/lib/modules / 'uname - r' / kernel/drivers/net
    . # cp Pei sky2.ko {, .orig}
    . # perl - pe s/\0\0\x6c\x43/\0\0\x55\x43/g ' sky2.ko.orig > sky2.ko
    . # echo sky2 > / etc/modules
    . # modprobe sky2

I hope this tip is helpful to you as it was for me!

    Kind regards.

Wow, your teaching is very good and very clear. I appreciate it because I tried to install Ubuntu on my Sat A200 and this machine has also a Marvell chip.

Thanks for the great info. :)))

  • Desktop HP Envy 700-305no: SSD Installation Guide

    Hello

The pc comes with a hard drive hybrid with 16 GB of cache Express, and some say, that I am therefore not able to install the SSD.

The wish for SSD comes from the coming Win 10 which I would install on SSD alongside the most used applications either Office and others.

I've been in contact with HP, but they seem unable to specify the How - to's question. Strange when you know that they sell these PCs for a living.

As I'm fairly new to SSD, I would warmly welcome a guide step by step for the zero on the SSD installation and new operating system on this particular machine.

Must also have a list of would be nice (cables, rack...) as well as a description of the location where on the motherboard, the drive must be connected.

Finally, any information may be necessary - I read somewhere that you need to disable the original hard drive to install the SSD, and somewhere else that the boot sequence should be changed. Others again, said that the SSD will be automatically recognized, and some say I have to get the pc to install the SSD.

All of these statements leave me a little confused and with a lot more questions, e.g. what will happen with the old Win 8.1 on the C drive, if I install a Win 10 on SSD?

Wow - it's a lot to ask, but I hope someone is able to help me, and I send you all to thank you in advance

    Kindly

    Hello

There is a lot of confusion and frustration with the help of technology.  These two words are very common on many forums.

I suggest you Google "SSD Installation Guide" and you should find a lot of general literature.

Installation of a 2.5 SSD "will require a special mounting for your PC kit...  HP should have what you need. Please read this thread.

Frankly, you won't earn as much in performance using a SSD verses your existing configuration.

  • Satellite A25 chipset driver installation

Do a new installation of Windows XP on a Sat A25-S207, everyone says that the chipset driver should be installed first.
But I've looked through the list of 33 drivers showed that BONE & this PC and cannot find driver chipset?

I've got the recovery dvd but this A25 has problems with DVD but not with the CD.
It would not boot from it, and now that XP is installed from the CD, it won't read, tho will to other PCs.

I don't mind downloading and installing drivers, if I must, but where is the dang chipset driver?

    Thank you

    Hello

Wow this is really an oldie
Are you sure that you need a driver for chipset for this device?
According to some details that I found on the Toshiba page we, the unit supports a Trident Cyber Aladdin graphics card and it s an Ali M1672 + M1535 Chipset.

I think that there is no driver available for this camera chipset, but the chipset driver is part of the graphics card driver that is on the page of the Toshiba driver we.

Something similar, you can meet on laptops with ATI graphics chip. The ATI graphics chip contains a chipset and driver.

  • Install Windows 8 on external drive Thunderbolt - Windows could not prepare the computer to begin the next phase of installation

    Hi all

I'm at my wit's end trying to install windows 8. Let me start at the beginning: I used to have windows running on my Mac Pro ssd internal 8.1, installed via bootcamp. It worked well for a while, and then refused to start, gives me a blue screen KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE. Despite some advice from lonely T, I was unable to fix and ended up wiping the partition and relocation, again via bootcamp. Yet once again, it worked for a few months, then the same problem. I made this one last time, and it only lasted 2 days... So I gave bootcamp.

I think that the hybrid MBR partition scheme that implements bootcamp is the culprit, but I don't really have evidence to substantiate this claim. In any case, I tried to install windows in EFI mode. (If I understand correctly, the hybrid MBR is set up to allow windows to install in legacy BIOS mode, but that windows 8 may now install efi, which supports my Mac Pro mode.) My Mac is the new Mac Pro (end of 2013, trash in shape), and I can say short UEFI 2.0 (I have the latest efi update from apple installed).

    The method I'm trying:

    1. create a new partition in HFS + on my external drive using disk utility. The drive has now it's efi partition and partition empty 750Go I want to install windows a 1.25 TB storage partition that I use with my mac. It has a GPT. I formatted HFS + and no FAT, because I think that disk utility creates the same hybrid-MBR as training camp every time a FAT partition is created.

    2. use gdisk to confirm that the disc does not have a hybrid-MBR. (sudo/dev/disk1 gdisk watch MBR: protection)

3 restart my mac and hold the possibility to put in place to bring up the boot efi menu.

    4. Select the EFI_Boot DVD icon (that's the windows 8 install dvd that I have in my superdrive USB drive)

    5. go in the menus of the disk selection screen installation and delete the partition in HFS +, I created to install windows on (the format option is not available)

    6. now select "Unallocated space" on the good drive and click Next.

    The problem:

Partitioning seems to go ok (there is no feedback on this basis, but it proceeds to the next screen, and all new partitions expected are there if I check diskutil list later). He said it is "copy of windows files", but then stops with the error "Windows has no prepare the computer to start the next phase of the installation." To install Windows, restart the installation. "If I restart, I can start the same process all over again and get the same result.

    The Question:

How I get this error and get windows install?

    Extra pieces:

    • The first time it happened I assumed it was the new sip / thing "without roots" in El Capitan, causing problems, then I disabled, but I still get the same error.
    • After reviewing the diskutil list output after one of installs it without success, I found that a labeled EFI partition has been created after my storage partition (the original efi partition was still there in the upper part of the disc).
    • I have windows 8.1 installed now bootcamp on my internal ssd. It was planned to use it and winToUSB to put windows on my crush, but I found that it only works with usb2. I do not have installed could cause problems with the installation on another disk.
    • Before say you I can't run windows on an external, yes you can, and many people have. I read windows sees thunderbolt internal disks.
    • I read a few other posts on this and other sites on this problem, but could not find a pertitnant solution to my situation. I found one that suggested to remove the efi on my disk partition, but that seemed like a bad idea, so I didn't try.
    • I write this at 1 in the morning after a day spent in front of the computer trying to get this working, so please excuse typos typing or other. I am pleased to provide you with any pertinant information helping you will help me.
    • Thank you!

The other thing I tried also almost succeeded:

Although I prefer to get the method above works, because it seems the most promising, is something else, I've tried that I thought worth mentioning. If you offer advice pertaining to this method rather than the above, I would appreciate it if you could explicitly declare that at the top of your answer. Thank you.

I tried to install windows on the physical disk using vmware and virtual box. The instrutctions I followed for this can be found here: http://www.andrewsavory.com/blog/2011/2156 (the only thing different, it's because it's on an external drive, I created the Fat 32 partition manually using disk utility). The first time (using vmware) installation seems to go off without a hitch, but I couldn't get my computer to see the windows partition as bootable with the boot efi menu hold-option regular refined or with system preferences-> startup disk. I think that I was using always inadvertently a hybrid-MBR at this stage. I tried to repeat this new beginning with the first two steps above to avoid the hybrid-MBR. But now when I try to create the virtual machine based on the gross vmdk, it starts to copy the files then says not sufficient permissions and fails. I don't know if it's a permission with the disk or the hard problem. I tried chmod 777 and chown $USER of the vmdk disk (/ dev/disk1s3) does not.

Wow, that was a long post...

    1. when a second drive is detected by the Windows Setup program, he wants to create his own brand of EFI (104 MB) and not to mess with the Mac EFI (200 MB). You can force it to use the EFI to the Mac using Diskpart commands.

2 instead of HFS/FAT32, create a piece of 750 GB free space and it should only get a new MSR/MSD, without the part of EFI.

    3. on your VM method, the link you have is quite old. You have a MP 2013, with references to the 2010 Mac alumni and is a bit too archaic to be useful. http://forums.macrumors.com/threads/install-a-Windows-7-partition-on-Mac-OSX-Wit hout-optical-car-or - usb.1836959 / #post... seems to work for many and can be useful for a test. It also uses Winclone.

  • How to skip the installation of SQL Express 2005 and using SQL Express 2008 instead?

I have SQL Express 2008 is installed and you want to use instead of SQL Express 2005.

How to configure the installation of Lookout as he ignores the installation of SQL Express 2005?

Are there other measures that must be taken so that Lookout can work properly with SQL Express 2008?

    Thank you.

    OK - it worked.

However, for 64-bit installations, I had to use the WOW of SQL Express 2008 versions, because, the Citadel is a 32-bit database and installation of 64-bit native versions would not allow an upgrade of the Citadel of Instance.

    Thank you.

  • Installation of World of Warcraft on Windows 7 problem

I tried to install World of Warcraft on Windows 7 Ultimate. When I put in the CD of the Lich King, it comes up saying, download new installer. I got there at night thinking it would end download. Well, I have nothing. A few times it will freeze and even the CD Burning Crusade will do the same. The CD only I could install is World of Warcraft CD.

Has anyone else been able to install WOW or been able to play the game under windows 7 versions? Is it because of no service pack yet? Anyone has any ideas or information about why the game could have these problems? I would really appreciate it. I love Windows 7 and really don't want to go back and remove the hard drive from my XP.

    Hi Jrdenn,

What version of World of Warcraft you trying to install?

Here is the link of the compatibility of Windows 7 which provides information about the versions of World of Warcraft that are compatible with Windows 7.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/compatibility/en-us/default.aspx

If the game is not compatible, you can try to install the game in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

Follow the link given below to install the game in compatibility mode.

You can try a few things

    (1) running WoW repair tool
    (2) reinstall the drivers of your graphics (which means uninstalling the software and drivers that exist and then installing the new on the NVidia site - some said it worked)
    (3) to make a diagnosis of memory
    (4) try to clean the registry (I recommend CCleaner - some people claim it worked too)

I suggest to Uninstall all the HP Laserjet Printer drivers and then try to install.

For the second question, you need to perform a clean boot to find the program that is causing and then disable or remove.

  • BSOD: STOP 116 Vista WoW

Hi, Ive had this problem with my computer and ill try to explain as much as possible. I just got a new computer bridge about a few months ago, the spes are...

    Manufacurer: gateway

    Model: DX4710-05

    Processor: Intel (r) Core (TM) 2 Quad Q6600 @2 CPU. 40 GHz 2.40 GHz

    (Vivid RAM) memory: 4.00 GB

    System type: 64-bit Operating System

So I downloaded World of Warcraft right when I bought the new computer about 2 months ago. Everything has worked and WoW went smoothly with no hicups comlpletly. About 5 days after I downloaded the new Cataclysm expansion pack on my computer, the game just glitched and I got the BSOD. This had never happened before when I played Wow, but now I can not even log in without getting the BSOD. The BSOD said... Windows stops to further damage pervent 'blah' "blah" "blah" and then STOPS. OXOOOO116 or something like that. Internet was this dubbed the BSOD Stop of 116 and most of the markets say it's because of outdated drivers or a graphics card problem. My windows update says that everything is up to date and I even tried to reinstall WoW, but I get on the BSOD STOP 116. Should I get a new graphics card or what? What should I do to fix this?

    Hello

This is the process of updating drivers. Since you have already downloaded the video driver you
just install it now. Go to the part in BOLD below.

    Maybe need of these:

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
    http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now, click on update
Driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right-click - Uninstall
-RESTART that will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS,
Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AS ADMIN - REBOOT after
    each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
    necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
    manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

How to install a device driver in Vista Device Manager
    http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.html

If you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver under Windows
Updates, that leaves about Windows updates but it will not install the drivers that will be generally
older and cause problems. If updates offers a new driver and then HIDE it (right click on it), then
get new manually if you wish.
