  • audio output lists only the internal speakers when usb is connected to the dac

This problem happened after I had used my mbp for months as music server in a stereo system.  When I have the mbp connected via USB to an external digital to analog converter (dac), audio preferences had always listed the CAD.  Now it lists only the internal speakers.  I tried to reboot, checked my UBS cable, checked my dac.  The only thing I've done recently is to create a playlist and sync a new iPod to copy the playlist we.  I don't know if that could have anything to create the problem of lack of dac, but I am a relative novice on computers.

  • MacMini-digital server: only internal speakers?

I've implemented a Macmini with digital music files to play through my stereo system with a remote ipad. But the mini will play only with internal speakers, even if it detects the CAD that I use.

I tried selecting the DAC in the audio section of the mini, and I open the Apple Midi file. Once again, the mini is aware of the CAD, but even when it is selected, the Mini sends the sound for only its own internal speakers.  Unknown yet, when I 'speaker setup' and test to the left and to the right, the sound test IS sent to the stereo speakers. Frustrating!

    Any help much appreciated!

  • Sound went along with internal speakers?

Hello, I use a MacBook Air laptop and my sound no longer works. When I go and check the internal speakers of available devices is not available sound remotely right LogMeIn, which I have no idea what it is, and the type is peripheral network. The output volume is at max as the input volume with headphones in or on the entry level not up or down in function speaks to me just randomly. Any response would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

Just take your mac to any apple store, you need to change your speakers or try reinstalling your operating system in some cases that it may work

  • Internal speakers not working not

My sound system works through my headphones and speakers do not work. I've tried everything (I mean every single option) I found on Apple Support Pages, but I can't always solve this problem.

In my system preferences, the ability to choose internal speakers is not available. Help, please.

FWIW, you cannot select the internal speakers if you have whatever it is connected to the headphone design. If you are using USB or Bluetooth speakers, you can.

  • 23 - c010xt envy: internal speakers continue to work after plugging in the speakers external or headphones

I got this computer for years with no problems. I use external speakers connected to the audio jack on the back. Once you plug in external speakers (or headphones), the internal speakers are disabled as expected.

Last night my PC automatically installed the anniversary of Windows Update (update feature Windows 10, 1607 version). After this update, now my two internal speakers and external speakers are working at the same time! I can't turn off the internal speakers without also turning off my external speakers. The volume affects both sets of speakers as well. I tried to disable audio and re-clearance but that did not help.

How can I go back to my original audio behavior where connect speakers external (or headphones) to the rear Socket 3.5 mm would automatically turn off the internal speakers? Thank you.

    Diameter of thank you!

I couldn't select no other devices in reading or recording tab becuse it is said that they are "not connected". Update drivers, said that later I have already.

But when I checked the other post, he fixed it! Now I get only audio speakers again... just like before and how it was supposed to be. Thanks again.

Windows 10. So I did some research on a Microsoft support forum and I found this solution:

    • Access the device driver software manager - right click on IDT high definition audio CODEC - updated.
    • Choose "Browse my computer for driver software" - choose "Let Me pick from a list of drivers for devices on my computer.
    • Select "High Definition Audio Device" (not IDT high def...)  This is important) and click Next. You get a warning message but answer 'yes '.
    • Once windows have updated driver software, try to play the audio again and check.

  • Malfunctioning of the internal speakers

I've updated my MacBook Air OS X El Capitan 10.11.4 and when he turned back on my internal speakers were defective. I plugged in the headphones to reset the audio output and my speakers back, but initially, they sounded scratchy after I went to 7 bars and now they sound very low when they are on the high bar. Could be a bad reaction from my computer to the new software? Or is it just my speakers? What can I do to solve the problem?

Try to run the update from the drop-down list.

  • Pavilion DV4: Laptop plays sound through headphones but not by internal speakers

Audio was working fine on my laptop, when suddenly the laptop would not play sound with internal speakers.  If I plug in headphones sound is fine.  Execution of control panel of configuration/sounds shows 'Speakers and dual headphone - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC' enabled and set as the default device, as well as "independent double headphones" (enabled by default but not) and 'SPDIF (Digital Out via HP docking station)' disabled.  What can be wrong?

Cure the problem by uninstalling the CODEC driver, then restart Windows then reinstalled, and now things are ok again.

    Hello

    Try the following.

Download Conexant HD Audio Setup on the link below and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp77501-78000/sp77502.exe

When finished, press and hold the Windows key and press R

In the run window, type devmgmt.msc and press to enter.

In Device Manager, expand sound, video and game controllers.  Right-click the Conexant device and select uninstall - also, you should get a command prompt to delete the current driver, check the box allow this and then proceed to uninstall.

When you are finished, download and reinstall the Chipset driver at the following link.

    http://ftp.HP.com/pub/SoftPaq/sp72001-72500/sp72025.exe

When the reinstallation of Chipset has completed, restart the laptop.

When windows has reloaded, open your download folder, right-click on the setup of Conexant and select "Run as Administrator" to launch the installation.  When he finished, restart the computer again and let windows to load completely for a few minutes before checking it in.

  • Internal speakers on my HP ENVY TouchSmart all-in-One desktop PC 23-d027c no longer works

    Hello

I just bought my HP ENVY 23-d027c TouchSmart all-in-One PC of office a few days ago.  It was working fine until I tested the speakers.  When you watch youtube videos, the internal speakers will stop working, while the mute button is not enabled.  It takes a few minutes, and then the speakers work again, only to cut out once more.  IT IS SO FRUSTRATING!  What's weirder, I put a dvd to see if it was the speakers, but the audio on the dvd seems to work very well.  Also, when I use headphones, the speakers work fine.  I don't know what the deal is, but according to my research, this seems to be a fairly common phenomenon on HP computers.  I'm struggling on the Exchange on this computer.  IF this isn't a simple solution, this machine will return to the store!

    Help, please!

    Thank you in advance!

    Wayne

    Hello MakCo,

Your speakers are not working correctly.

Go to Device Manager, uninstall the IDT audio and restart the computer.

Uninstall it and reinstall the audio driver.

Here is a link to the Device Manager.

    Do a hard reset.

    Turn off the computer.

Remove the power cable and battery.

Hold down the power button for 15 sec while booth energy sources are deleted.

This should reset the hardware in the computer.

That you put it on press the F10 key. This will load the BIOS setup utility.

Press F9 to load the default values.

Press F10 to save and exit.

When the computer starts up, check if everything is working.

I would like to know how everything goes

    Nice day.

  • Internal speakers Satellite C640 suddenly stopped working

    Hi friends,

My satellite c640, internal speakers suddenly stopped working but works fine when the headphones or external sources are connected
    Is this a hardware problem?

I m using win 7 64 bit and I tried to install the drivers but seems to be a hardware problem

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

I don't know if it is a hardware issue of m.
You may need to check certain settings.

In Control Panel-> sound-> the Read tab.
You should see the speakers selected as the default device.
You can also click these speakers to the right and you should see a few options:
    Speaker Setup
    test
    Disable
    and so on.

Test the speaker first. In my case, a short tone is displayed. You can also mark the speaker and click the properties button. You will see a second window with tabs. Check the second tab called LEVEL. Here, you can change the sound level.

What happen exactly when you try to reinstall the sound driver? You get errors?

  • I just switched to El Capitan - cannot get the internal speakers to play alerts

Hello, I went from my output to a DAC using the Audio MIDI Set up and everything has worked. Then when I switched the output to the speakers they would not play any alerts - alerts were never neglected internal. Regular audio won't play - just no alert. -I looked into his system - it - preferences interface, everything looks good still does not. I changed the settings on the format via the interface Audio MIDI, thinking that would help, but none of the settings changed anything. Basically, everything seems OK in the settings, but no matter what I do, the internal speakers won't play alerts. Does anyone know how to fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Portege R500-11Z: how to use the external mic and hear the internal speakers

We have a Portege R500-11Z running XP and want to use Skype with an external table microphone and the internal speakers.

When connect us the microphone to the Jack MIC the Portege, built-in speakers cut out!

How to use an external mic and still hear the internal speakers?

    Hello

    > When connect us the microphone on the Portege, built-in speaker MIC Jack cut!
Are you sure you used the microphone port and no headphone port?

Have you checked your settings Audio from Skype?
There is an option called ring through the speaker too or something like that.

Please also check the Realtek HD audio Manager in Control Panel.
There is a tab called Audio i/o.

Usually, you can change the connector settings, by clicking on the small key-tool icon.
Disable the option called Mute rear output when plugged headphones before

As you can see is called headset and not so I m confused a little bit why the speakers are turned off when you connect an external microphone.

By the way; There is also a tab called micro.
Check if the two options that reduce the echo and noise are OFF

I lost the sound on my HP 620 laptop. In the control manager and device Audio everything seems perfect: drivers are visible and it is stated "this device works correctly. I can see the green bar in moving Volume control when I test audio, BUT nothing out of the internal speakers.

There are two features in Audio playback:

Speakers/headphones IDT High Definition Audio CODEC and

    Nice day.

It is for those who have trouble on HP speakres.

I have a problem that does not work my speakers, ut I have sound when I connect the headphones. I tried everything, reading on the web and encourages all solutions, but nothing happens.

Finally I just blow into the headset connector and use tootpick to clean the inside of the connector.

The inside of the connector, there is litlle relay. When the headphones are connectet who relay turning off the speakers and spend his helmet. So, if there is dust this relay can stay in closed mode and its cannot 'go' to the speakers.

So, I hope that Martin will help you with your problem!

I'm sorry if may gramm wasn't verry vell.
