  After trying your suggestions without success, I was able to do a chat session with Adobe today.  I figured out that I had 2 accounts Adobe with 2 email addresses.  The serial number that I used was for CS3 (I upgraded to CS6 in CS3).  When I finally came on the second adobe account, I discovered the CS6 serial number and installation ended safely.

  What a headache!  I think I have to tattoo the serial numbers on my forehead :)

  I have Windows 7 Home Premium, and now he asks me an activation key which, up to now (for the past 12 months), had been very well.   Yes, you may. If it does not appear on your Adobe account, or you wrote it / she saved somewhere, that's all. Adobe does not know what you don't know. All Adobe applications must be installed correctly and cannot be restored from some odd backup or migration assistants.

  When my (old) CS4 Master Collection installed, the activation code does not work. Just says it's invalid. I had the same problem in 2014. At the time someone Adobe helped me through the phone.

  • What is the error code indicated under Technical Details on the error page?

  in case the error code is equal to sec_error_unknown_issuer, please try to add an exception on the bottom of the error page (don't add it for real however) and inspect the certificate as shown in the screenshot

  • What information about the issuer of the certificate contain?
