Invites to the position of the window

Hello

I use labview system exec.vi to run an exe file, so there will be a prompt program window at latest.

The .exe file is not created by vi.

My question is, how do I set the position of the window for the program line?

Thank you.

I have a 15 "rMBP and regularly connect with lid closed to a Dell screen 4K P2715Q. Whenever I wake up from sleep, many of my windows are off-center and move the windows from the edge of the rightmost to the Center.

  • Get the position of the control in the window of the façade

    Hello

I have the window façade divided with dispatchers on several components. On a glass, I have a button (and an overlay window) I want to move programmatically at run time. I would like to get the position of the button according to the coordinate system of façade, but to my knowledge, no such property exists. I know that I can calculate the position if I calculate the position of each knife (or component) that is between the origin of the façade and the button, but it takes a lot of time if you have many such cases.

    Any ideas are appreciated.

    Hello PaulGibbs,

Thank you for visiting the Microsoft answers community.

This happens with all of your applications, or just calculator?

Windows stores the location where you close your application and opens the next time in this place. However, there are third party software that may interfere with this process.

Try to perform a clean boot:

Step 1: Perform a clean boot

Note If the computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may prevent you from following these steps. We recommend strongly that you do not use System Configuration utility to change startup options on the computer, unless a support engineer Microsoft directs you to do so. This can make the computer unusable.

    ·          Log the computer by using an account with administrator rights.

    ·          Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER to start the System Configuration utility. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    ·          On the general tab, click Selective startup, and then clear the check box load startup items. (The check box use the file Boot is not available.)

    ·          Under the Services tab, click to select the skin all the Microsoft services check box, and then click Disable all.

Note Following this step lets services Microsoft continue to run. These services include networking, Plug-and-Play, record of events, error reporting, and other services. If you disable these services, you can permanently delete all restore points. Do not do this if you want to use to restore the system with the existing restore points.

    ·          Click OK and then click on restart.

Step 2: Enable half the services

    ·          Follow steps 1a and 1B to start the System Configuration utility.

    ·          Click the Services tab, and then click to select the skin all the Microsoft services checkbox.

    ·          Click to select half of the check boxes in the Service list.

    ·          Click OK and then click on restart.

Step 3: Determine whether the problem returns

If the problem persists, repeat steps 1 and 2. In step 2, click to clear half of the check boxes that you have initially enabled in the Service list.

If the problem does not occur, repeat steps 1 and 2. In step 2, select only half of the remaining check boxes that are cleared in the Service list. Repeat these steps until you have selected all the check boxes.

If only one service is selected in the list of services, and you the problem persists, the service selected the cause of the problem. Go to step 6. If no service is causing this problem, go to step 4.

Step 4: Enable half of the startup items

Perform a clean boot by repeating step 1.

Click the Startup tab, and then click to select half of the check boxes in the startup item list.

Click OK and then click on restart.

Step 5: Determine whether the problem returns

If the problem persists, repeat steps 1 and 4. In step 4, click to clear half of the check boxes that you have originally selected in the startup item list.

If the problem does not occur, repeat steps 1 and 4. In step 4, select only half of the remaining check boxes that are cleared in the startup item list. Repeat these steps until you have selected all the check boxes.

If only one startup item is selected in the startup item list, and you still experience the problem, start selected in the list element is the service that is causing the problem. Go to step 6.

If no startup item causes this problem, a Microsoft service most likely the cause of the problem. To determine which Microsoft service may be causing the problem, repeat step 1 and step 2 without selecting the hide all Microsoft services check box in each step.

    Step 6: Resolve the problem

After you determine the startup item or the service that is causing the problem, contact the manufacturer of the program to determine if the problem can be solved. Or, run the System Configuration utility, and then click to clear the check box of the element of the problem.

Step 7: Reset the computer to start as usual

When you are finished troubleshooting, follow these steps to restart restart the computer to start as usual:

    ·          Click Start, type msconfig.exe in the start search box and press ENTER. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for confirmation, type your password, or click on continue.

    ·          On the general tab, click the Normal startup option, and then click OK.

    ·          When you are prompted to restart the computer, click Restart.Collapse this includes this image

  • Position of the window of my browser continues to move a little, how it stop?

When I open a new browser window and nothing else is in place, it opens it in the same size and the position of the last closed window, I like.

What I don't like, is that if I open a second browser window, it will NOT open in the same position as the last window closed. The same phenomenon occurs for the windows folder. They seem to open slightly down and to the right of the window in front of him. It's annoying because I have to keep moving my windows back in the right position.
Is it possible to prevent this and open all the windows exactly where the last closed was, even if there is already a window of this program to the top?
    Hi Dale,

I'm afraid, but this is normal. The new window that opens should slightly down on the right side, and that is to make sure that the window don't overlap, giving the user a better view from the window at the same time.

    I hope this helps

  • How did you help file .chm maintain its position of the window when the user resizes the Help window.

One of my customers complained that the content help scrolls out of view when the window is resized.  Is there a way to anchor the position while the window is resized?

Ok. I understand what they want now. Unfortunately there is no way to achieve what they want. A consequence of resizing of the window, is that you lose focus on what is selected in the section. This is something that affects all windows, not only the CHM files. Try selecting part of a web page and the resizing of the window. The same happens.

  • I have a HPw2207 monitor that does not work in the vertical position operating under Windows 7 64-bit.

I use a HP Pavilion p6-2033w PC. It was fine on XP. Any suggestions?

    Hello

I had no problem downloading the driver for monitor for my PC.  You should be able to download and save the driver from the monitor on your PC.  Then try the installation again.

Turn off your PC and try a reset monitor. Unplug the power cord from the monitor and hold the power button of the monitor for 30 to 60 seconds. Plug the monitor back in and it lights up.

After you download on the Windows desktop, right of the mouse on the desktop and select the resolution.  You should be able to select the desired screen orientation.

  • Wizard Boot Camp invites not to create the Windows ISO

    Hi all.

I have a new MacBook Pro (15-inch, mid-2015 retina) with El Capitan 10.11.3 (15 d 21) installed and fully updated. I'm trying to use Boot Camp to install Windows 10, how ever when I load the Boot Camp, he goes to the option to partition disk and wonder where the ISO file is located, but it never gives me the ability to create a Windows ISO on my USB key as did previous versions of Boot Camp.

Don't know not what Im doing wrong here, but it doesn't recognize it even with the version I have all my ISO files even when they have been downloaded from the Web Microsoft MSDN site as when I click on continue after that point to the ISO file, I get an error message saying "Boot Camp only supports installation of 8 or a later version of Windows 64 bit on this platform." Please use an ISO for 64-bit Windows 8 or later installation file. "I get it despite trying everything I have or do.

My version of boot Camp is Version 6.0.1 (522)

BootCamp does not create the Windows ISO, he asks, you will need to provide it.

  • Size and position of the window when it is opened.

When you open a new window, it is never the same size or location.  I do full screen on each screen that appears.  What should I do to get full scr

    Three options.

1: take the corners of the window and drag it to the format full screen. Do not use to expand. Close all other windows first via the taskbar and the latter. Windows will remember the size of the last closed window the next time that you open the program.

2: any shortcut you use to launch the window, right-click, and select Properties. Under the 'Run' drop-down list, choose "expanded".

  • Of the 10 elements Organizer position of the window on the screen.

I help an old friend who uses 10 elements on a MAC, its Organizer window appears on the screen with the menu in line/high bar file, edit, search, etc. see off the screen at the top and I can't move it to the bottom to display correctly. I'm not very familiar with a MAC as a PC user myself, anyone know why this happened and how to fix it please?

I don't quite understand what you said, I'm sorry. A major difference between the PSE in the windows vs. the mac version, which is on a mac, the editor and organizer, the top line is attached to the top of the screen of the mac itself, not of the program window. You can't do anything to the window of the organizer that it would cover.

    See:

Then you are sure that it is seeking not only in the wrong place? No matter where I put an application window, the top bar with the black Apple is at the top of the screen in each program.

  • Position of the window/browser - registration number of Red

Hello. I am using Captivate 5. I put my recording of resolution 800 x 600 and deselected the option "wink to ' window for the Explorer window I want to record. I have manually resize the browser so it only captures the screen (leave aside the address window, toolbars, etc.). I save a few screens, and then stop recording. I leave the window of the browser exactly where it is and the same size. When I start recording to add more of my presentation, it does not break the window of the browser (because who is deselected) but instead, the Red recording window automatically snaps to the top of the browser. This leaves me having to drag the recording window red to only the portion of the browser I want registered - once again, leaving aside the address window, toolbars. The problem is that whenever I save a few slides, then add more, having to reposition the Red recording window will never be exactly the same whenever I record. Thus, there is inconsistency when recording where the screen moves slightly due to having to move constantly registration window. Is there any solution for this? It is not an option "Align", it's just the Red recording box resets automatically at the top of your browser to the place where she had stopped.

    Hello again

I would say that the best would be to open a new record in a new project in order to have the option available. Whe recording is complete, copy slides saved and paste them into the original project.

You should also consider sending a form of wish to draw the attention of the development team needed to make this feature available in other actions for registration in the same project. (The wish form link is in my signature)
