  I have an IdeaPad p580 and I noticed that a few basic functionality of windows are not available. I use Windows 7 Home premium SP1 and everything else is usually straight out of the box. I guess these are the basic features of windows because I learn about them in an intro to the class of Windows operating system.

  When I try to use secpol.msc in the start menu, windows cannot find it, and also when I try to encrypt a file or a file this option is grayed out. I think Veriface is the encrypt function creep, or another software that is preinstalled is to play with things.

  Thank you James. This procedure has helped and I can see the option to backup again to 8/7 of window control center. What I did wrong in the first place was canceled the backup on an external disk, formatted the disc one plugged a new drive. Then, I was not able to click on the link "Backup." Its now fixed.   You'll probably notice that the problem reappears when you connect a USB drive in the PC. Subsequent removal of this drive will cause the PC to crash. This occurs because the unique identifiers of the USB drive and the internal HARD disk are the same. To resolve this problem, the simplest method is to "clean" the disc. A cleaning will destroy all data on the disk, so backup first.

  1. Open diskpart.exe
  2. Type "list disk" to determine the number of disk to the USB drive.
  3. Type "select disk #", where # is the number of disk you determined.
  4. Type "own."
  5. Type "exit".

  Restart your PC. You can use diskmgmt.msc and diskpart.exe to repartition your drive USB to use it normally.

  I assume that the 'mapping' occurs during a batch operation (Gendata) through any rule the XDD defined for this field. In the batch, pre and Post Edit calculations do not.   In FAP that contains that field, add the PostImageDAL rule in the property of the rules in the Section box. In the data box, do call your script.
  Your script is a bit wrong, it seems you were trying to get the 'current' domain name and then check the value of fields. Drop the part and simply name your field in the string in quotation marks in the @ () function and the SetProtect.

  I work in a corporate environment that is mainly based on Windows, but also have a handful of Macs and a Mac server. The question I have is that the MacBook display the prompt "network accounts are not available" when connecting. This message disappears when the VLAN from requiring authentication on our firewall device, MACs are to be excluded.

  I thought my our support company firewall that Macs are a kind of test at startup. If they do not have full access to internet NETWORK card wireless goes into a State of semi functioning. It is only when they have access to the internet it goes into a fully operational.

  It makes sense when the "network accounts are unavailable" message, I can't SSH in the Mac, but can't ping the IP addresses of our DC, ping any name FULL domain or ping any device outside the VIRTUAL LAN.   Our company firewall just remember exactly what service performs this function on the Mac. Anyone know what it's called?
