• 27 "2013 mac only shut down using the power button / stop, is this a problem or a part of the new system

  After my upgrade that Mac is not closed by using the drop-down menu option, it also seems to crash the finder.  Finder raises with force quit.  I can only shut it down using the power button.  Is this a bug/problem of a part of the El Capitan?

  There's something strange happening very recently with the app on my iPhone and iPad updates. Two of them are on the latest version of iOS (9.3.2). Apps would show that they are updated in the App Store, but they are actually not updated. This is the second time that this has happened and I am writing this message I try to solve problems.   1. I opened the App Store.
  2. Press update of all.
  3. I saw the download of updates and the finish.

  The problem:

It is a feature that is activated by clicking on an option checkbox inside the application builder. I never had this problem with presentations previos version. V29 is this unique?

  Yes. It is a novelty of A29 and exposed through the API store/library custom. We are looking inside and to contact Apple. It nothing to you, a DPS customer, can do right now on this problem. This is the new behavior of Apple rejecting these applications. Go us to them and keep everyone informed.

• Time Machine breaks down during the work week, working all weekend after preferences rebuilt

  End of 2013 the MacBook Pro 13 "Retina display, 16 gig RAM, OS x 10.10.5, gigabit networks are home and work, NAS at home only.

  MacBook is used as working on simple business network machine all week. Time Machine off and save a couple hundred K and then crashes when I connect to home network at night. Same thing happens when I return to the home network for the weekend. I have disable TM, kill the TM preferences, restart to create new ones, back up on my home network NAS all weekend without problem. I turned off TM before going to work on Monday and back at home Friday night, and it fails. If the routine is now restore preferences TM Friday night, let the backup of its contents all weekend, turn off TM and go to work all week.

  I would like to have the security of offline backup that comes with the TM run all the time.

  It was suggested elsewhere to rebuild the Spotlight database. It did not work. I use locate on the command line and have rebuilt the database too.

  Any suggestions?

  A device third-party network attached storage (NAS) or a router is unsuitable for use with Time Machine, especially if it's your only backup. I know that's not what you want to hear. I know that Time Machine accepts the device as a backup destination. I know that the manufacturer says the device will work with Time Machine, and I also know that it usually seems to work. Except when you are trying to restore and find that you can't.

  Apple has published a specification for network devices that works with Time Machine. No third party provider, AFAIK, does meet this specification. They all use the application of Netatalk incomplete, obsolete Apple Filing Protocol.

  Apple does not endorse any device third-party network for use with Time Machine. See this support article.

  Network backup, use as destination an Apple Time Capsule or an external storage device connected to another Mac or a 802.11ac AirPort base station. Only 802.11ac base stations support time Machine, not older model.

  Otherwise, use Time Machine at all. There are other ways to save, although none of them are nowhere near as effective or as well integrated with OS X. I don't have a specific recommendation.

  If you are determined to continue to use the device with Time Machine, your only remedy for any resulting problem is the manufacturer (who will blame Apple, neither you nor anyone else but herself.)

• ACS 3.2 breaks down when the RDBMS isn't available.

  Someone knows a problem connecting equipment that auths to ACS 3.2 if their ACS (ODBC) login record is down?

  I have not checked this bug yet but we have picked up our computer (postgresql) of ODBC logging, it was moved to another building. Throughout the weekend that the computer was down and I couldn't log into any of my ACS devices controlled (switches, AS5200). As soon as the computer was brought back online connections have started working again.

  I did not see this listed in the notes, but I may have missed. In any case I'm check if anyone else has experienced this problem and ask yourself how do I solve this problem (at least it was a bad surprise, luckly I hadn't started wireless auth to the GBA unit)

  It is likely, although probably not documented anywhere.

  At the time current ACS works as follows:

  When ODBC is configured, ACS blocks authentication until the

  Log ODBC is done or has failed due to the delay. The failure of ODBC timeout

  occurs when the external database is unreachable. In this case, the

  authentication fails if this delay is longer than the

  timeout for the device.

  Workaround to activate authentication despite the failure of logging is to increase the radius-server on the device/NAS (for example time-out

  5 to 10 seconds). It can be done using the following CLI command:

  "radius-server timeout 10". You may need to increase it even more depending on how long the wait time is on your ODBC database.

  There is an enhancement request in to have the GBA behavior has changed, you can see here (http://www.cisco.com/cgi-bin/Support/Bugtool/onebug.pl?bugid=CSCeb21974&Submit=Search).
