• iOS Provisioning Portal. Help!

  I'll upload my first multi-question application to the AppStore, but I found a number of issues.

  With the DPS workflow, I had no problem, but when it comes to certificates in the iOS Provisioning Portal a lot of questions have been raised.

  The first problem I had is I downloaded the manual (Adobe iOS edition Companion Guide... January 31, 2013) but it was already out of date because they have changed the look of the page and there are things that do not match.

  Following the steps described at best, I created the following certificates:

  -Certificate of development (.) REB +. P12)

  -Certificate distribution (.) REB +. P12)

  -Development mobilprovision

  -Mobilprovision distribution

  I also have Push certificates (because I want to add new publications of the app in the next few weeks and I would like to inform people):

  -Aps development.p12

  -Aps production.p12

  After all this, I created the application with the application Builder of DPS.

  The first problem I had was the Push certificate 'aps_development.p12' failed. It breaks down and I don't know why.

  Without adding the push option, I could finish the process, download and try out on my iPad App. It works and I can add publications.

  My questions, not to mention the problem with the "aps_development.p12" are:

  -For the application next to several question that I create, do I have to recreate all the certificates or only some of them?

  -In the iOS Provisioning Portal, I had to also create an iOS App ID, this ID App has anything to do with the product ID that is configured to publish a Folio?  What do I need to create one for each publication that goes inside the app, or just one for the issuance of the multi-app?

  I would appreciate your help as I need to publish this app on the App Store as soon as possible.

  It wasn't the problem. In the end, I managed that a technical service man call me and connected to my computer remotely.

• Apple: This new section replaces the iOS Provisioning Portal

  I received this email from Apple:

  "It is now even easier to manage your development resources. The new section certificates, identifiers, and profile in the Member Center provides a unified view and an intuitive interface to help you manage all your certificates, IDs, devices and provisioning profiles. This new article replaces the iOS Provisioning Portal and developer certificate utility. »

  I guess that doesn't mean anything for us to deal with the stuff of certificate? Is the workflow remains the same just a different interface?

• iOS provisioning Portal questions

  Whenever I pass by this i get frustrated and end up making the entire process again. I'm on windows.

  I am trying to add a new device, which is exactly the process of adding another device? I already have 1 work of the device.

  I have a developer certificate in the portal already

  I added the new device UDID

  Add a new profile for the right device?

  I have a mental block regarding this stupid website I can't seem to remember the process.

  What should I new? I use the same .p12 but just a new provisioning profile?

  Once you have added a new device, access the provisioning Profiles list, select the one you are using, and then select Edit. There, you will see the devices that you have added to your account. Click on the box in front of the devices you want to this configuration file to work for and then submit.

  You are redirected to the list once again and that you have changed as a watch is not ready yet, but you can do a reload of the page immediately and then should appear the download button. Download it and replace the old, with the same name. Then you should be able to simply publish the API file, and the new version of the configuration file will be used.

• Error trying to create for iOS Provisioning Profiles (Distribution) .ipa

  Hello, I tried to deploy my application MAF to a .ipa package. I use jDeveloper 12 c. I've already done before for profiles of development and it was working perfectly until yesterday when I tried to create a .ipa with certificate of Distribution. Now, I can't deploy for distribution, or for the development...

  The corresponding configurations for the iOS platforms, I did: I created the profile of Provisioning for Distribution in space subscribers for Apple developers and by signing the identity, I added the certificate corresponding to Distribution applications. I also defined an APP ID, I have configured my CRG - application.XML with the corresponding APPID, well.

  But when I tried to deploy my application to a package I get the below error:

  I don't know what could happen... This happened last week when I was trying to do the same thing and I registered my app in iTunes Connect. I wasn't able to delete the iTunes Connect app so I modified the APPID and since then, I have been able to deploy my application to a package again (certificate for development), but this time I didn't create a new application in iTunes Connect, so I don't know what could be happeing...

  I hope you guys can help me because I'm panicking... I ran out of options...

  I'm sure it's a problem with certifications, because I can deploy to iOS Simulator without any problem.

  Thanks for your advice. I ran the command in the console and I could see the xcodebuild log and I realized that I was not setting good App ID, so I changed it and it worked perfectly.

  Normally, resetting the device should solve the problem.

  Reset: hold the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo (10 to 20 seconds).

  I get the portal page comments and my credentails authenticate correctly and the device is authenticated using MAB. Then I redirect to the portal and get this message

  You must manually configure your device

  No idea how to enable self-registration for guests?

  My goal is when comments is authenticated first time must enter information identification and registered MAC address, then when comments come again, it will spend only authentication without MAC address registration.

• presentation of iOS app from AppStore - certificate of Distribution?

  I finished developing the first version of my iOS app and continued to fill all the holdouts not in Itunes Connect and started to download my application through the AppLoader mac operating system. Which therefore found that the problem is that my application which was published in Adobe Flash Proffesional 6 has been set up under a certificate of development (in the deployment tab) and not a certificate necessary to publish to the App Store distribution. I have generated such a certificate on a Mac, and tried to use it in my project through Flash 6 on my PC, however, a password is required to publish the application.

  I have several questions about this:

  (1) is there a way to generate a certificate of distribution on my PC (and not via a mac)?

  (2) these certificates of distribution are the extensions .cer - FLASH, you are prompted to find the certificates .p12.

  (3) if I use the distribution certificate created in my project on my Windows PC mac computer, where I can understand the password it asks me to enter?

  This is a very frustrating issue, Adobe if you can download a tutorial of Distribution for publication on App Store that would help people struggling with the same problem... There are currently only a tutorial on how to create a development .p12 certificate...

  1. Yes, but it is much more difficult to do it on a mac.  in fact, I think that you will have to emulate a mac to do.

  2. When you create your .p12 file in Keychain Access, you enter a password.  (there is no reason to use a different password for the development and distribution).

  1. Go to the https://developer.apple.com/devcenter/ios/index.action using a Mac or Mac Virtual PC
  2. Log-in.
  3. Click on the iOS Dev Center.
  4. Click iOS Provisioning Portal link.  (See Fig08-04).
  5. Click certificates in the left panel.
  6. Click the Distribution tab in the right panel.
  7. Click on the certificate request button in the right panel.
  8. Follow the instructions to create your distribution certificate using Keychain Access.  (See fig. 08-05)  Apple has some easy to follow instructions to create a signature that is used to create your certificate. The steps needed to create a Certificate Signing Request appear in the right panel after step 7.  The only part that I come across is when you are prompted to open the Certificate Wizard.  You will find it in the top left of your Mac after clicking on the Keychain Access, not in the Keychain Access window.
  9. The right panel change and to show that your certificate is waiting for deliverance.  Refresh the page and you should see that your certificate and reading by download. (See Fig08-06).
  10. Download your ios_distribution.cer by clicking on the download button.
  11. Download an AppleWWDRCA.cer by clicking on the "* If you do not have the WWDR intermediate certificate installed, click here to download it right now." link.
  12. Open both files in Keychain Access (using the login keychain).
  13. Right click of your private key in Keychain Access (you may need to expand the iPhone Developer certificate in your Keychain Access window) and click Export.  Make sure that the file format is the exchange of personal information (.p12) and click Save.  You will be prompted for a password that you must remember.  You will use this password whenever you publish an iOS game and you will use your .p12 (certificate distribution) file for all the apps/games that you distribute (until your certificate expires and you pay another $99 and do again).

• Convert an editing application simple subscription

  I created a free, Professional Edition single application for my client. It was already released on iTunes. Now they express interest to transform it into a free subscription app. Can I make these modifications and update the app w/Apple or do I need to remove the existing edition of singel of the Bank and submit and any new application? I am trying to find a way to do this without confusing existing customers. Thank you!

  You need not remove the unique folio app first. In iTunes Connect, you will add a new version. DPS App Builder, you will need to create a new application, rather than modify the existing one.

  When you create a subscription free app, you need to use the iOS Provisioning portal to configure your App ID to enable push notifications, create certificates to push and re - build your mobileprovision file (because you changed the ID App). You also need to use iTunes Connect to create an in-app purchase to free subscription with a product ID that you will specify in DPS App Builder, activate the newsstand and submit a new version. The Guide Companion edition for more details.

• Subscription with DPS app problem

  It turns out that not all product IDS are created equal.

  When you create the app ID in the iOS Provisioning portal, you specify a product ID.

  

  When you configure in-app purchases in iTunes Connect, the same product ID is used.

  

  When you compress all to send to Apple, you specify the same ID of product in the DPS App Builder.

  

  However, the product specified in the producer Folio ID MUST BE DIFFERENT in the order of confirmation of subscription and notification to work properly.

  

  My problem has been created by my using the same product ID in the producer Folio I'd used in iTunes Connect and the DPS App Builder.

  In order to change the ID of the Panel producer Folio, you must click the button to update and enter a different ID.

  When users to launch your application, they will see two copies of your folio. The version they already had and the updated version. They can download the update and the subscribe button and tile should work.

  When users to archive the old version of your application, it will completely disappear off their iPads.

  Note: this is in addition to the creation of a Secret shared in iTunes Connect and plug it into the appropriate field in the page for detailed information on the DPS account.

• Replacement certificates and mobile configuration files

  IM currently replacing the certificates to try to resubmit an App (it wouldn't let me connect and download using existing ones)

  1 when I went into Keychain Access initially he confirmed by Developer certificate has been altered, so I assume it is because of the frustration.

  2: I replaced the Dev and Dist certificates

  3: Keychain Coachman said everything was good at the same time, even if they have been renamed as I got them to make it clear I look at one/work with the correct files.

  Now - when I go to replace the existing certificates in the generator of the app, I get this message.

  

  To be honest, I created so many certificates with all its processes to try to get this job I have now no idea where this should go.

  I remember reading a tip somewhere on the use of the web in reverse as a login url, but it was before Christmas.

  -Where can I find the Bundle ID, they refer too?

  Bundle id is part of App id that you create in Apple iOS provisioning portal. Make sure that you have created your Provisiing Mobile files using the same app id/bundle id.

  No, once you create an AppID on the iOS Provisioning Portal, you can't remove it. I think it's way the App duplicated preventing Apple.

  If you use the simple edition of DPS, you can manually add up to 100 UDID of your certificate of Provisioning using ios Provisioning Portal.

  Otherwise, this feature is available with DPS Enterprise Edition only, in which you can build an Enterprise version has signed with Appl'e company certificate to distribute the content inside your organization without adding any UDID.
