iPhone not iTunes backup (Apple Support says it of associated Windows and won't help)

My iTunes crashes constantly and mine and my iPhone husbands have stopped backup in iTunes. I get an error when it won't in the process that says "iTunes could not back up the iPhone" iPhone "because the backup could not be saved on the computer". Two updates ago, on iTunes and Safari, is when he started to arrive. Apple support had me do a few things to see if it was iTunes/Safari itself, but none worked so we me finally to get support for Windows. Some of the things I did was reboot, reset iphones, create a new user on the computer windows account, uninstall and reinstall all Apple products on the computer. I tried the Windows/Toshiba forums, and they seem to believe that it is indeed a problem with Apple's software and not with my computer because it was working fine until an update has been done for Safari/iTunes/iPhone. In addition, delete all the recorded previous syncs and backups as suggested by others on the community support of Apple and Toshiba and no difference!

    That is right. The requires iTunes 12.3.3 and in order to get it, you will need to update OS X to El Capitan. That's how Apple has created for better or worse, I'm sorry.

    I bought the Publisher of 12 elements in March 2015 on the Apple App Store. Apple has confirmed that there is absolutely nothing wrong with my Mac. He has had problems since bought and installed on Yosemite, now the new O.S. El Capitan is installed, and 12 elements editor now refuses to open at all.

    My opinion is that if Adobe and Apple do not provide professional support for the products they sell to us, then they should say at the outset that there is no support for these products. This is not the first time that I was sold an adobe product that doesn't have any product support, product durability or reliability of product.

    As you have the version of the App Store, you will need to re - install. Your download should always be available in the Mac App Store under "purchases".

    Apple has had problems with security certificate expired affecting all applications downloaded from the Mac App Store. Here's a solution that worked. Give it a try by following each step:

    I had the same problem on the Mavericks and your suggestion worked for me.  FYI, I deleted the items, empty trash, disconnected from the App Store, restarted the computer, signed in to the App Store, then downloaded items.  I use OS x 10.9.5 and 11 elements.  Hope this helps!

    Try to restore again SE with a backup that I did earlier today with 5, whenever I connect to itunes SE he asks me if I want to set up as a new phone or restore from a backup.  I choose the backup that I did earlier today and go through the whole process.  Some of my apps restore and no voice message.  ITunes recognizes the phone as having been backed up and continues to ask me how I want to configure the phone.  I did the whole process 3 times.  I have a real phone, restarted itunes... What can I do else?

    I suggest you all first set your phone as new, and after it is operational connecting to iTunes and then restore the backup. Make sure you have iTunes 12.3.3 on your computer, they are required for the iPhone OS.

    Have you tried to restart by phone?

    You may need to remove active - update.xml and updates.xml so, if it is present.
