IPhoto crashing too fast to record.

Hello. Ive done a search and I've seen a few questions on this topic, but I have another question to add. So, my iPhoto remains open for about 3 to 5 seconds and then stops. This started happening recently, but I haven't added new pictures in a while, so if there is a corrupt file, I don't know how what happens if this problem started a while after I added my last picture?

I have my pictures on a disc external hard as well, I'd like save those in iphoto on my counter top, but iPhoto closes too fast! Any suggestions?

Also, this could be caused to save my phone? IPhoto opens when my phone is plugged, but I didn't save all photos recently. Thank you, Owen

EDIT: Im on a 2011 mac mini with Mountain Lion.

In addition, iPhoto, I opened my account of girls and not plant the iPhoto application.

Disable your internet connection and try to launch iphoto while you are offline.

If iPhoto then works again, you experience the problem that iPhoto crashes, because he can no longer access the servers of Google for maps and location data.  Apple has not renewed the contract with Google.

See this tip for the user:

iPhoto 9.4 crashing during playback of the scene

There are several ways to deal with this:

  • Upgrading to iPhoto if possible 9.6.1.  iPhoto 9.5.1 and newer versions use different map servers.
  • Working offline. If powering down of the network is preventing accidents, a confirm that the accidents are caused by the functionality of the site.
  • Deleting the html of the iPhoto application files, running the java code that attempts to access the servers of Google as suggested by Huxly647':

Re: iPhoto crashes after opening several times in reply to carvermon Useful

I found a solution that works for me...

1 goto /Applications/iPhoto.app/Contents/Resources

2 delete the files 'googlemap.html' and googlesearch.html

IPhoto no longer crashes, site does not work, but it doesn't bother me too much.

Let me know if it works for you guys...

Deletes two files "googlemap.html" and the googlesearch.html of iPhoto application bundle prevents the JavaScript running inside and causing the accident.  Log of course do the same thing. So it's pretty clear that something happened at the end of Google.

To access the files inside the iPhoto application select it in the Finder and ctrl-click on it. Then use the command "Show Package Contents" from the menu.  Open the content subfolder and then resources.

Do not try this fix without making a copy of the iPhoto application before trying to delete the two files of the entire application.

If you want to make the places feature working again, take a look at the post of cotton-x:

Cotton-x user posted a clever to patch the iPhoto application solution, so that it uses a private key to access Google's servers. The same fix works well for Aperture 3.4.5, and probably earlier versions of opening as well.  See this link if you want to try it.

Re: iPhoto 11 - problems with Photo locations

I've tested this in Aperture 3.4.5 and could view maps of land once again, who have much more detail than the new cards in the latest version 3.6 of Aperture.

  • A bug? Reading Photoshop Action is too fast, after upgrade CS5 - CS6! My action does not work

    On a PC

    I upgraded to CS5 in CS6 (cloud) over the long weekend and I'm now facing a massive headache. Process actions that I use extensively for my work are all foxed by the simple problem reading action going too fast for the script on two documents to stand. I've tried everything I can think of, but the only thing that allows the action to progress substantially (as in previous versions of the software) is the step by step playback mode. It's too slow to use on an ongoing basis.

    The problem is caused by the following sequence

    Save as a document (on the desktop)

    Opened as a document - open that Camera Raw - after settings open in Photoshop

    Select all

    Copy

    Closed - registration No.

    (PS automatically selects previous document)

    +++ Paste +++ command ERROR paste is not currently available

    This is where Photoshop choose the previous/underlying document before applying the Paste command. Since the upgrade its been trying to paste the Clipboard in the fraction of a second after the closure and by selecting the previous document and have reported no documents available to all. Slow down or if stop playback with step by step or stop and continue works around the problem but the workflow causes to slow down considerably.

    Is it possible to script a break during this time crucial one? Or is there a setting preferably I forgot it's breakage behaviour?

    This thread solved my problem http://forums.adobe.com/message/4423788#4423788

    This is a bug. The work around is to record a change in the speed of reading before and after the paste.

    Adobe would you want to fix this problem please?

    While you are, you would also look at "less than 50% of the pixels are selected," it would be really great if we could cancel this warning when batch processing of images and using measures.

  • Reading too fast: Please help!

    Hi all

    I used Adobe Audition 1.5 for many years (I have also tried with version 3, but my computer is too slow to run it well) and has recently purchased a new computer and thought I would update to CS5.5.  I recently recorded a session with an ensemble of 8 musicians and I have a major problem that I can not understand!  I recorded the sessions and while listening to them on that day, I recorded, all sounded very good.  The next day when I opened the sessions all of them played back too fast.  The music is a semitone too high in height.  I'm completely baffled as to why it happened, but I'm guessing it has something to do with the sampling rate.

    I'm on a PC running Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bit).  I use a Presonus Firepod as my audio interface that I set to 48 kHz.  My Adobe Audition sessions can also be programmed to 48 kHz.  I did something unusual that set again the paths of files of sessions in a more coherent system of record.  It opens everythihng always fine, but sessions are replaying at too high a pitch.  If someone could help me with suggestions, I would be very grateful.  I have a lot of people waiting for mixdowns for this one and I'm in a bit of panic!

    see you soon,

    Adam

    I checked all the samples used in the session already and they are ID'ed as 48 k.  The multitrack session, it also suggests reading is at 48 k.  Do you think I should try to re - sample all the files at 44.1?  I'm afraid to do it, because I tried to do it with a .wav file that does not need, and CS5.5 does not allow me to cancel it!

    You can just stamp the header without resampling.   It will not be reduced the audio because it does not change any of the headers.   Take one of the files and use the change > interpret Sample Rate order on this subject:

    However, you can actually set this operation on all files by saving a favorite.

    If all the clips in the session starts in the same exact spot, you can cheat the session as well be simply change the header in the file SESX (using a text editor).  However, if you already have automation or several clips from different places, it becomes a little more difficult.  But if everything started at the beginning of the session, it should be easy change this attribute in the SESX:

    I found another disproportion which may help a solution.  Wave files are 24 bits, but the multitrack session is set to 32-bit mix: would this affect reading?

    No they won't make a difference, and is in fact to design.  Given that you have saved the files directly on the disk in the multitrack, there is no reason to store in a file with a depth of greater than 24 - bit because your sound card is _actually_ be able to produce data at a resolution (in or) more than 24 bits.

  • ADF Faces & BC: clicking too fast result to the problem of synchronization?

    Hi all

    We have a dynamic menu in our application (af:menuTabs in the upper part of the application). Whenever a click occurs under the tab insert us a record into a table of audit system via a ViewObject. We received a bug today report say when a user clicks too fast on the legs, they get an ORA-00001: unique constraint (SYS_APPS_LOG_PK) violation exception. Here's some code that I currently use for this insert operation:

    {} public void insertAuditRecord (String moduleName)

    ViewObject vo = getWSysAppsLogVo();
    Line = vo.createRow ();

    row.setAttribute ("AppsStartTime", getTimeStamp());
    row.setAttribute ("UserName", getCurrentUser());
    row.setAttribute ("ModuleName", moduleName);
    getDBTransaction () .commit ();

    }

    This method is called via earphone commandlink's action.

    Any advice on how to deal with this issue are much appreciated.

    Thank you
    Wes

    Wes,

    Use a sequence as the PK ;) I guess you get two clicks to the same timestamp value, and that you use the module users/name/timestamp as the pk.

    You can also check to see if af:menuTabs have the 'blocking' attribute, you can define (to prevent double-click) - I'm not casual if they do.

    Hello JasonV!

    I definitely want to get the most out of the battery of my iPhone, considering how much I use and depend on.  We can certainly check a few settings.

    First of all, check out this article to see if there are any apps or processes that use more battery than expected: on the use of the battery on your iPhone, iPad and iPod touch - Apple Support

    Then see that all of your settings are configured as this guide recommends: Batteries - maximize Performance - Apple

    Once those who are defined, give it a try with the settings and let us know which applications use the most power and the percentage.
