Is it possible to Reveal Click click sur-Masquer button?

Hi, I am creating a reveal click on the button, but on the later, click on the same button, it hides what was revealed before. Is this possible?

Thank you!

I have several blog posts explaining the workflow. Take a look at this last (for CP9):

1 share = 5 buttons toggle - Captivate blog

Joint actions have the advantage that you can switch between the groups and objects as parameters. In your case: If you have several interactive objects on the same slide, that you want to give this toggle behavior, you will have to hide everything should appear and then display the appropriate item. By grouping all of the objects that can be done very easily with a shared action of two-order:

    Yes I know it s crazy frustrating. It took me three days to figure out what I had to do.

    You could get my file but I Don t know where to download.

    You set movie (click the play next to the movie icon and choose reading). No automatic reading of the symbol or triggers tell the movie to play (if you intend to work they way I wanted, which is impossible to tell). There are probably other ways, but none of the 2000 I tried before worked.

    When you´ve set the movie to play, mark the spot on the timeline of the movie where you want to pause, and then click pause in playback of movies. Define a trigger on the chronology of the symbol with playback > stop all > 'your symbol name' in the symbol timeline just to the right of the pause. Then set to play again to the right of the shutter release. Make a button with action play chronology of 0

    It sounds very complicated, but it s not. Find how it was REALLY hard for me anyway

  • Tip action to show only a previous button on a slide so the learner clicked on the button Submit on Drag and Drop

    I am a user of long date Captivate and have dabbled with advanced Actions and Variables, so know just enough to get me in trouble. Hoping someone can help me with what I hope is a simple tip action:

    I am currently using CP8 and created a training where learners click on a map of building to go to different "rooms" to complete an interaction drag-and - déposer a certain topic related HR. The problem is that some of my learners test forget what 'rooms' they have already read and will click on those they have already visited. I added a back button, so that they can return to the map if they made a mistake, but now they are able to leave the slide without completing the interaction drag and drop.

    Basically, I need to hide the back button unless the learner has already completed (for example, the user clicks on the button submit to) the Drag and Drop interaction, but I'm not sure how to set up. Can anyone help?

    Thank you!

    Hide the button back to begin with. A tip action can be triggered by an event the success and failure of the & slipped. I guess that you will need at least two commands:

    • View the "back" button
    • Go to the next slide.

    It seems the simplest solution. You can also ignore the slide D & D when they enter a second time, but then you will need a Boolean variable to be turned on/off by these same events and a conditional action on which checks this variable and immediately jumps to the next slide when it is set to 1.

  • Send the setting click on the button (panels)

    Hello world

    I'm currently trying to create a dockable panel on AE with ExtendScript, and I have a problem when I create the buttons.

    the thing is the number of buttons and their callbacks is not resolved and is sent to the script via a socket connected to a python interpreter.

    This part works well, according to what I have sent on the socket, AE creates buttons more or less.

    The problem comes when I have to click on the buttons. For now, I use this:

    function createUI(thisObj)
              {
                        myPanel = (thisObj instanceof Panel) ? thisObj : new Window("palette", "test panel", [100, 100, 300, 300]);
                        var panelstr = "myPanel.";

                        for(var i=0 ; i < commands_lenght ; i++)
                        {
                                  var cmd_name = commands_name[i].Name;
                                  cmd_name = cmd_name.replace(/\s+/g, '');
                                  cmd_name = cmd_name.split('.').join("");
                                  var cmd = panelstr.concat(cmd_name);
                                  button = eval(cmd);

                                  var posb = 5 + 25*i;
                                  var pose = posb + 20;
                                  button = myPanel.add("button", [0, posb, 100, pose], commands_name[i].Name);
                                  button.onClick = testclicked;
                        }

                        return myPanel;
              }

              function testclicked()
              {
                        alert("you clicked, well done! \nwant a medal?");
              }

    or is that what I would like to send a parameter to the function being called when (onClick)

    something like that:

    function createUI(thisObj)
              {

                                  button.onClick = testclicked(parameter);
              }

                        return myPanel;
              }

              function testclicked(parameter)
              {
                        alert("you clicked the" + parameter + " button, well done! \nwant a medal?");
              }

    and so far, it has not worked.

    so I wonder if it is still possible to do ^^'

    Thanks in advance for your answers

    Justin

    You cannot add an argument to a reminder.

    What are you trying to do exactly? The problem is that I do not understand what should be the variable 'parameter.

    If you need to use a specific variable within your callback you could just add to your variables button, I have not tried but it doesn't work?

    button1.onClick = testclicked();
    button1.myParameter = "first";

    button2.onClick = testclicked();
    button2.myParameter = "second";

    function testclicked()
    {
        alert("you clicked the " + this.myParameter + " button, well done! \nwant a medal?");
    }

  • How can you force a user to click all the buttons on a slide?

    I have a slide with a scenario and four option buttons, of which three are good options. I would like that the learner to click on the correct three buttons, which each give comments, before the continue"" button. I have scripted an advanced action to show that the key to continue only after all three keys user has clicked. For some reason any, when I saw the project continuous slide without interruption after I click on the first button. All the buttons are set to show a hidden legend and break after 2 seconds. How can I set up my calendar to (a) allow for the learner to decide which buttons to click and (b) a break long enough to allow him to make that decision? I am using Captivate 5.5, incidentally.

    I am sure that I am doing the equivalent of Captivate to forget to wear one, but I'm unfortunately stuck. Thanks for any help you can give me!

    Krista

    Hi Krista,

    I think your buttons have the same point of suspension, and given that the sequence is not imposed which is logical. But when you click on a button, the normal behavior is that the playhead continues. Can you please post a screenshot of the timeline and your advanced action? Maybe you need to go back the playback head. I call this micro-navigation and blog about it:

    Micro-navigation in Captivate

    When the continue button appears, make sure that its suspension point is later than the other buttons

  • I write a test using a sequencer to test several click of a button

    I use flex sdk 4.1 and have a situation where a button click is sometimes called twice. I am writing a test for this by using only a sequencer and it will run at least a click, I'm not sure is how to test several click events (which shouldn't happen, but occurs randomly in my project)

    package tests.view
    {
    import flash.events.MouseEvent;

    Import flexunit.framework.Assert;

    Import mx.events.FlexEvent;

    Import org.flexunit.async.Async;
    Import org.fluint.sequence.SequenceEventDispatcher;
    Import org.fluint.sequence.SequenceRunner;
    Import org.fluint.sequence.SequenceWaiter;
    Import org.fluint.uiImpersonation.UIImpersonator;

    view of the import. AddComments;

    public class TestAddComments
    {

    private var view: AddComments;

    [Before (async, ui)]
    public void setUp(): void
    {
    view = new AddComments;
    Async.proceedOnEvent (this, opinion, FlexEvent.CREATION_COMPLETE, 600);
    UIImpersonator.addChild (view);
    }

    [Test]
    public function testButtonClick (): void
    {
    view.addCommentBtn
    var sequence: SequenceRunner = new SequenceRunner (this);

    sequence.addStep (new SequenceEventDispatcher (view.addCommentBtn, new MouseEvent ('click', true, false)));
    sequence.addStep (new SequenceWaiter (MouseEvent.CLICK, view.addCommentBtn, 100));
    Sequence.Run ();
    }
    }
    }

    The only way you could test for this type of circumstance... where something can happen... one is to do with a time-out. In other words, you can't pass the test simply because the first event has occurred.

    Two ways to handle this... with sequences:

    Instead, you write a test that awaits 2 clicks. In the Manager of the assertion (which would only be achieved if the two clicks occur) you would fail the test:

    failure ("I shouldn't be here");

    In the server for the 2nd click, you can specify a timeout handler. This timeout handler is called in the 2nd click does not occur for the specified time. (find that time is the hardest part). Default timeout Manager fails the test, however, in your case, your manager timeout would just fortunately make necessary assertions and move. A time-out is not necessarily failure... in your case, it's OK

    Second choice:

    You could create a timer. Create an event handler for the click on a button that increments a counter. Start the timer, do your test. However, having your test until the end of the timer, rather than something like the click... In this case, you would then be able to simply check the count:

    private var clickCount:int = 0;

    [Test]

    public function testButtonClick (): void {}

    var: timer = new Timer (100, 1);

    Async.handleEvent (this, timer, TimerEvent.COMPLETE, checkClickCount);

    view.addCommentBtn.addEventListener ("click", function (e: Event): void {clickCount ++});

    view.addCommentBtn.dispatchEvent (new MouseEvent (' click; true, false));

    }

    private void checkClickCount (e: Event): void {}

    assertEquals (1, clickCount);

    }

    However, I can't imagine how the test you describe could give never more than a click event... I guess the problem is elsewhere, but it will help you check
