Is not properly sleep

Hi all

I recently bought a 4085 CTO W500 laptop and abandoned the OS Vista 32-bit to 64-bit. Now I have problems with the sleep function.

Whenever I put the computer in sleep (by any method - Fn + F4, close the lid, by clicking on the start menu button), he would do, the indicator light turns on as well - for a second and then automatically be reactivated. The computer would then be in the locked mode, but with the screen turned off (maybe put it in hibernation? "I don't know too much), and if I don't do anything to it for awhile, then he did enter mode 'sleep' for good (the amount of time I had set for it under Power Manager).

He did do that when he was in 32 - bit, but now it does, and I have no idea why. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! It is quite annoying when I have to wait at least 10 minutes for the computer to sleep, instead of every time I said it too.

Thanks again!

P.S. I'm not exactly a computer savvy person, so I have not configured really nothing advanced, either.

Ah, never mind. I thought about it.

Apparently, I can't put my computer to sleep under the "Energy Saving" option in graphics switching. It was a very unexpected way to solve it - or maybe not, but it was for a n00b such as I have.
