is there a color settings in bridge cs6?

Hello

is there a color settings in bridge cs6 like photoshop cs6?

I want to say that I have a lot of pictures with a photo pro or adobe RGB color profile

I can ' t find an option to install it

Thank you

Color management is now always on Bridge.

Your files will display correctly until they are marked, i.e. as long as they have the profile embedded in each file.  The embedded profile will always be honored by bridge.

Files not marked, which means files without an embedded profile, will be borne by the bridge in sRGB.  Period.

You cannot change or modify this behavior.

Odd. I saw that as CS6 had the GPU acceleration before it was abandoned. HM.

I just went full DPEP in my previous posts. Laughing out loud

When you were talking about red spots, it is salient facts clipping (and shadows, as appropriate) underway. Click on the top corners of the color histogram to disable them.

O keyboard shortcut (that's an O as October) active / disables cutting highlight; U activates / deactivates the shadow clipping.

  • CS6 and ACR color settings

Ok... I did some internet research fully three times and I can't understand it. I'll give you as much information as I can think of from the outset. I know it has to do with color management, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

    • Take pictures with Canon 6 d color space sRGB
    • Opened. CR2 with Adobe ACR v8.8.0.397
    • Color space in ACR is sRGB CEI6 1966 - 2.1, 8-bit
    • Click on "Open the Image", which opens Adobe CS6
    • Evidence are attributed to the disabled (off) colors.
    • Color in CS6 settings are:

Here is the comparison of the ACR and CS6:

What I am doing wrong? If my color settings are the same between ACR and CS6 (as shown above), shouldn't ' images be the same in ACR and photoshop?

    Let the bashing begin...

They should indeed. This is a profile of broken screen, affecting the two differently.

Recalibrate and make sure your product standard v2, focused on the matrix of profiles (if you do not have these options, it does). V4 profiles and LUT can be problematic in some cases. If you do not have a calibrator, use sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1 for now. Restart Photoshop when finished:

BTW, the setting of the device to the color space is questionable. This not apply in-camera processed JPEGs, raw files.

  • Managing color in Bridge CS6

    Hello

I'm having a problem of management of strange color in bridge (64-bit). Essentially, Bridge does not display the images in the preview pane by using the correct color profile or thumbnails.

Context: I'm on Windows by using a configuration dual monitor (independently calibrated both) but I have the question, even when I use a single monitor. Photoshop has no problem with the color settings. I tried to reset all settings (hit Ctrl as bridge begins). I tried to purge my cache and have bridge generate previews of the size of the screen.

The strangest part is when I launch Bridge, for a fraction of a second of the images seem to be in the right profile and bridge then adjusts everything to the incorrect color profile.

    Any thoughts?

    Thank you!

I'm sorry. Been a busy week...

Anyone with a spirit of Monitor wide range test this possibility?

I have a screen wide range, and I can confirm that I see the same as you:

The two images look the same in Bridge and significantly different in Photoshop (and Firefox *), in the image of much brighter ProPhoto (especially the four patches on the right).

If you do a RC conversion to sRGB in Photoshop they look alike.

BTW, no need to keep sayingIf Yammer is correct", I am 100% convinced that it's way bridge is still perceived image. Just look at your cache for evidence records.

    Change Data Execution Prevention settings

Data Execution Prevention (DEP) is a security feature that protects against viruses and other security threats by analyzing your programs to make sure that they use the system safely memory.

If you choose to protect all programs, you can always turn off DEP for individual programs. If you think that a program does not run correctly when DEP is enabled, check for a compatible version of the DEP program or an update from the software publisher before you change your DEP settings.

    1. Click to open the system.

    2. Click Advanced system settings.  If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    3. Under performance, click settings.

    4. Click the Data Execution Prevention tab, and then click turn on DEP for all programs and services except those I select.

To turn off DEP for an individual program

      • Select the check box next to the program that you want to turn off DEP for and then click OK.

If the program is not in the list, click Add. Navigate to the Program files, search for the executable file of the program (it will have the .exe extension) and then click Open.

To turn on DEP for an individual program

      • Clear the check box next to the program that you want to turn on DEP for and then click OK.

  • Colors do not match from Lightroom (checked ICC, cab version and color settings)

    Greetings,

I have a picture of the water in the rocks in Lightroom CC 2015. Do you have all my settings and it looks the way I want it. He sent to Photoshop CC 2015 and I get this strange halo neon-aqua in the water.

The image has a DNG from a Panorama in Lightroom, so I tried the following:

    1. check that the treatment of color Aqua/Blue in Lightroom. Restore all files source panorama 0 and rebuilt. Same question.

    2. export file looking for good Lightroom as TIFF, then open it directly from Lightroom. Same question.

    3. open the TIFF file in other applications (e.g., Pixelmator, Raw Therapee). Image looks exactly as it does in Lightroom, so question should be in Photoshop.

    4. change the settings in the color settings in Photoshop. Tried of perceptual and Relative. Have all the options under "Color management policies" as "Preserve" and all options are checked. All combinations led to the same question.

5 enabled setting in Camera Raw by bridge and resynched setting for the CC apps. Same question.

6a changed to write the settings Lightroom develop in format JPG, TIFF, PSD files (I always checked even when XMP). Same question.

    7. calibrate the monitor with X - Rite ColorMunki Photo. Same question.

8 calibrate the monitor with a gain of X-Rite ColorMunki Photo, but this time with the ICC v2 profile. Same question.

    9. turned on GPU (MacBook Pro retina end 2013). Same question.

    10. tried to re-assiging and profile ProPhoto RGB conversion. Same question.

    11. I usually export to Photoshop as 16 bit, ZIP, 300 dpi, ProPhoto RGB TIFF. Tried to export to Photoshop as PSD. Same question.

12 tried exporting as sRGB and AdobeRGB. Who worked in the sense that the halos of aqua has disappeared, but the image is duller than in Lightroom (although a so slightly).

In view of the fact that the image is displayed as expected in all applications, but Photoshop (well, Illustrator as well, but it converts the subtle colors of the water in 8-bit, so I'm not sure that the problem is the same), I suspect I'm missing something in Photoshop. In addition, it seems to only affect how Photoshop interprets the images with ProPhoto RGB profiles. I don't remember having this problem with previous versions.

All the foregoing is CC versions and is up to date. ACR is 9.2.

Steps 1 through 9 were the ideas that I found elsewhere in the forums, but I'm out of ideas.

A reflection as to how I can continue to use ProPhoto RGB, given that my entire workflow is based on that?

    Thank you very much

    Paul

Screenshots would help, but from what you describe this must be your monitor profile. A problem with the profile itself, or an application is not loading the correct profile.

It does not matter what color space you export from Lightroom. These applications are the two color managed and will display the file correctly regardless of the color space. They must be synchronized (the exception is the threshold effect that can happen from Adobe RGB to sRGB, but you won't see that on a range wide-screen.) Any cutting of ProPhoto was moot because you don't see, in any case, on any monitor).

So when you say you see a difference between a file exported as ProPhoto and exported as Adobe RGB or sRGB, it's a smoking gun. Something wrong here, and the main suspect is still the monitor profile.

The two find themselves in the same monitor profile, but the source profiles are different. In Lightroom, it is linear (gamma 1.0) ProPhoto, in Photoshop gamma 1.8 ProPhoto, Adobe RGB or sRGB. Conversions are so different. This is why a bad profile may appear differently in different scenarios.

Basic troubleshooting is to replace the monitor with a known good profile. That would be the sRGB or Adobe RGB, depending on whether your monitor is a standard or wide range. Then see if there is still a difference. Be sure to restart both applications when done - they load the profile screen on startup.

  • Adobe Bridge CS6 Mac cannot be launched

    Dear Adobe community!

I just installed my new CS6 Design & Web Premium Suite on my MacBook Pro with OS X 10.8.3 and installed all the updates that are available for CS6.

Unfortunately I can't launch Bridge (version 5.0.2.4) of my account (admin privileges) - after double clicking on the icon of the application window appears for just a fraction of a second and I get a saying of pop-up window, something like "could not be successfully" (I'm under a German language version).

-Try to launch Bridge from PS results in the same error message.

-Rampage the Bridge preferences file has not changed anything.

-From bridge with down option and force reset all default settings doesn't change anything.

-Start my Mac in SafeMode (SHIFT key at startup) doesn't help.

But create a new user on my single Mac user to launch the bridge when connected to this new account.

I'd be more than happy to receive some useful comments from the experts here!

    Oliver

    Updated - problem finally solved!

    What happened between the two:

I started a chat session with one of the Adobe support guys. He said that the cause of the failure was probably a conflict with the permissions.

After that I told him that I had tried to fix the permissions several times by unsuccessfully Apple disk utility he suggested to copy the following file / directory of my 'Test' newly created user (under the direction of which bridge could be launched without effort):

    [username]/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.bridge5.0.plist

    and the whole directory

    [user name] / Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CS6

If that would not solve my problem, there was no other "cure" for my problem due to an irreparable permission conflict.

After that, I logged in as the new user 'Test' and copied the mentioned files / directory on a separate drive, connected to the back as my standard user (account where bridge refused to start) and he replaced the files I had exported just before.

Result: Same problems - bridge refused to start as before.

    Dang...

Therefore, there is no way to solve this problem as I said Adobe?

Assuming that the problem of the current permission has been the cause of my problem of bridge, I decided to 'force' the permissions:

I went OS X Finder, marked the home directory of my problematic account, typed cmd + I to open the Info window, went to the bottom section where the permissions are listed, wnet to the Group of users "admin" and marked this group as "read and write" (it was read only before!) and chose the option to apply theses settings to all subdirectories and files (icon with the gear wheel).

Once the changes in an application I rebooted my Mac and logged in as my user standard and open Bridge:

Bridge began, but showed the subdirectories of my account 'Test '. So I stopped bridge, deleted the file com.adobe.bridge5.0.plist of my standard account, restarted my Mac - and voila - works of bridge like a charm!

Finally I wouldn't say that there is no 'plan B '...

Maybe this workaround may be useful for someone out there!

    Kind regards

    Oliver

  • Bridge CS6 Cache and freeze problems

I downloaded Bridge CS6 and I wasn't able to use it yet. I'm on a MacBook Pro running 10.7.4 and whenever I run the Bridge application I get the following error:

Bridge has encountered a problem and cannot read the cache. Please try to purge central cache in the Cache preferences to correct the situation.

When I try to purge the bridge cache freezes. If I try to purge the cache I can't access all the files on my computer and it just hangs. I finally force leave her to get out. So far, Bridge CS6 has been completely unusable.

    Help, please.

    Thank you.

When I go to ~Library/Caches/ there is a folder for com.adobe.bridge5 but he is not one for com.adobe.bridge6

Your in the right folder. Follow the path you discovered yourself using the pref settings what Curt suggested

CS6 ~library/caches/Adobe/Bridge and inherent should be 2 files:

    Cache plugin Adobe Bridge

and the folder called Cache. Inherent should be 4 folders called ' 254 ', ' 1024', 'data' and 'full '.

All of these files are the quality content respective to the thumb and preview as well as 100% of cache and database of bridge.

Anyway, since you have not used bridge you have no amount concerned the cache and I would say you leave the two PS and bridge and manual to remove the two elements (Plug and folder called hidden at the end of the above mentioned Bridge CS6 path.

(the two files are going to freshen up after a restart of the bridge).

To be on save her side also visit in the same user Library Preferences folder and locate the file called "com.adobe.bridge5.plist" (Yes, that's 5 Bridge that comes with CS6 all Adobe applications have their own version number, they are presented in the same version of the Suite. CS6 has PS version 13 and Bridge version 5)

also, drag this file to the trash.

Then hold down the option (alt) key while from bridge and this should give you the option to reset the preferences as mentioned earlier in this thread.

Choose Reset prefs, then try again.

  • Cannot open Bridge CS6 file in PS CS6

Bridge cs6, my files will open in Windows photo or Live Photo Gallery Viewer.  When I go to 'Open with' in the file menu PS CS6 is not an option.  I know it must be simple, but it's driving me crazy and I can't get my pictures to open in PS when I double click on one of my tens of thousands of photos.

I just buy CS6 yesterday.  In addition, what I have to keep the Adobe CS6 file that is on my desk, or can I delete it now that the program is loaded?  He is 1.77 GB.  If I still need to reload PS, I can do it from the store on my account, right?  Even for the Adobe file that is on my desk for the LR4 download a few months previously.  Also, I left checked on 64 download and the regular PS PS6.  I have windows 7 I only need 64-bit.  Why is the other CS6 PS (no 64)?  Do I need?  Should I uninstall it?  Also, should I uninstall CS4 and CS5?  They're all still sitting there, with LR3 (I now use the LR4).  I have huge and several hard drives, so space is not a review.  But I just want to clean it up a bit.

Lots of questions here, let's see what I can add.

The problem of file goes to associations of type file/Preferences.  You should have the CS6 selected option to the default extension.  Can try first the option on the bottom button to set the default settings.

If the 1.77 g you do file refers to is the one you downloaded and used for the installation you can delete.  It is a wise choice to save it to a DVD first so you'll get where you need it in the future.  Also record the serial number in place course.  Acutally safe isn't the right word, the need to put in place where you can find if you need next year.  HD may fail.

There are still third party plug-ins that do not work in mode 64-bit, so the 32-bit version.  There is also no 64 no bits TWAIN so some like always to use for parsing.

Some users experience file association and other problems with an uninstall of previous versions.  So, it is more prudent to let them be.

If you want to clean up a little to resist the urge to move all Adobe programs once is installed.  It can really foul upward.

Bought an Officejet 7610 wide format e-all-in-one more than 1 year ago.  Finally put in place.  Am I correct, that there is no advanced settings of color as my old Photosmart C6280 - brightness, saturation, hue, and settings for each color? Is this what current HP - Photosmart line?

    Hi @jyz2100,

Although the advanced color settings may be different, there are options with software and print, dialog box that you can modify. I wonder if you might find the following useful information:

    The default sRGB mode
The default sRGB color space is the most common configuration for print jobs. As mentioned, most of the images are sRGB and sRGB offers color high quality automatic without user intervention. When sRGB is selected, the driver controls the color management. Color management should not be attempted with ICC profiles, while the pilot is set to sRGB mode. This will lead to generally low color fidelity.

Adobe Bridge CS6 does not start. I installed it in Photoshop CS6, but Bridge does not start in my profile of 'owner '. (Photoshop works very well). However, when the reinstalled via a new profile of the administrator, bridge works. Any ideas why it won't work in the profile owner? Any suggestions on how to solve the problem? Support Adobe says it's a problem with Windows 7, but there is speculation on the Web that this is due to the installation of Bridge CS6 while Bridge CS2 remains installed on the PC.

Why are there no way to return either to the default value (not found a default label) or save the settings changed under a name?    It is a productivity KILLER.

    Hello

Interface user of Windows 7 is theme based. The colors are defined by the theme.

You still have many color options that can be used to change the colors.

Right click on the desktop and select Personalize. Click on the color of the window at the bottom of the window box.

You can select one of the colors in the boxes colored at the top.

Adjust the intensity of the color with the cursor.

Click on the color down mixer and you can a lot of variations on all the different color choices.

    I hope this helps.

  • Color settings is not Lightroom color settings

How are you guys! I'm an amateur photographer and use Lightroom and Photoshop. 99% of my work is done in Lightroom, so I really only use Photoshop rarely when I need to do certain things.

It seems that every since ch & LR CC came out, I cannot get my color profiles to match. I know that LR uses an embedded color profile that is ProPhoto RGB, so I put the color profile accordingly in the PS, but when I open an image in LR and PS, the colors do not match. I've attached a screenshot of the same image open in both programs where we see the difference in color. Does anyone know how can I fix? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

    colors.JPG

This is most likely a bad display profile. This can affect different applications in different ways.

Color of managed applications must always show absolutely identical - that's the whole point of the management of the colors in the first place. There is no particular reason PS and Lightroom color settings must match. They should display properly regardless of the color space of the file.

The right way to handle this is to use a standard to make a new profile to display. If you do not, use sRGB IEC61966 - 2.1 for the moment, it is usually close enough for most people.

Replace your current profile in Windows Color Management. Be sure to restart both applications when done - they need to load the new profile at the start of the application:
