  • Comments account shows as not secure...

In my Cisco Connect access as a guest page will appear as 'on' and watch a password is required to use it.

However, when I click on the network and sharing icon in the taskbar, it displays all available networks around. My account main poster as a WPA protected but the guest account as having no protection. I changed the password in Cisco Connect guest access and it has changed, but when I check what networks are available it still shows as being unprotected. I have enabled access as guest allow power on and off and disappear from the list of available networks, but when I turn on guest access sometimes showing as unprotected.

    It's a router E1000.

    Ideas?

Well, no access then invited. TKS.

  • Jabber Web comments page

    Dear all

I have Cisco Jabber Guest server and need to change the webpage (calling Web Page), such as adding my company instead of cisco Logo logo!

    any help!

    Mohamed,

Ning Lui pointed out a perfect link. Follow the same link.

You can not change the LOGO of Jabber Cisco but can integrate the widget into towards another Web page:

    Integrate the Widget

Cisco Jabber comments feature is exposed on a web page by integrating the application widget. The widget is embedded using an iframe element. Here is an example of a built-in widget.

  • Jabber comments does not work with Expressway 8.7.2

    Hello

the last Highway requires Diffie-Hellman keys at least 1024 bits in size.

Unfortunately comments Jabber always uses 768bits as the 'server Temp key' on tomcat. This is why you cannot use Jabber comments (any version; I tried 10.6.9 and 10.6.10) with Expressway 8.7.2.

I also checked the Tomcat settings and there is the appropriate setting in/opt/cisco/jabber/conf/mss-sip-stack-properties (which, I guess that's the relevant file):

    # 2048-bit support for the Diffie-Hellman key ephemeral
    jdk.tls.ephemeralDHKeySize = 2048

Unfortunately, this does not work, or at least the results are not as expected.

Try to connect with openssl (openssl s_client-connect : 5061) shows:

    -snip-

The server public key is 4096 bit
    Secure renegotiation IS supported

    Expansion: NO
    No ALPN negotiated

    -snip-

Expressway present "key too small dh" in the log file and the 'TLS negotiation failure' when checking the status of the area.

It works perfectly with Expressway 8.6.1 (have not tried far 8.7.1).

Log files / dumps / snapshots are available on request, but I think the problem is pretty clear and I hope that it will be easy to solve.

    Thank you and best regards

    Hello world

We applied Microsoft3 to our ISE 1.2 cluster and after the upgrade all the sponsors accounts (outwardly autenticated on Active Directory) are now GMT + 01:00 Europe/ECT as time zone default. So the guest account have the same time zone time and invited the authentication will fail.

    It's the mistake of ise - console.log:

Comments:-com.cisco.cpm.guest.exceptions.PortalUserException: java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: zone of datetime id "ECT" is not recognized

    Comments:-to com.cisco.cpm.guest.edf.GuestUserAdaptor.isAcctValid(GuestUserAdaptor.java:489)

I checked the interface of administration and documentation 1.2 but could find no default setting for users of sponsor zone

Time zone for the 3315 is THIS:

    clock timezone THIS

One solution is to update its zone on sponsor Portal setting has each user of sponsor, but it is impratical.

Doesn't have all the known world the same problem?

  • Cisco has disabled my internet connection I don't have the guest password - I never asked to Cisco

My main computer is a Windows XP, I also have Vista and a laptop with Windows 7, XP is slow, the vista access no internet at all unless I put in some password for comments, that I never went also, I didn't want Cisco and if I did it lacked experience in computer science and an accident.  Please help, friends try to help and I lost all my music files and now I can't Netflix Blockbuster or Rhapsody.  Help?

Software Cisco Connect think that my internet connection is lost, but it's not. It won't take me any further than that.  I would just use the administration of "Advanced" page but I am trying to enter to disable the guest network and for some reason, Cisco made that only configurable from the Cisco Connect software.

  • Cisco ISE profiling - Split-Corporate/guest access

    Hi all

I currently deploying a Cisco ISE for my wireless network and I would like to divide my WLAN in two different "authorisation profile": comments and Corporate.

For now, I use my active Directory to authenticate users and profiling to authorize the device with the host name. I would like to sort by domain name with DHCP probe but I can't because there is always an answer of DHCP message with the domain given by the DHCP server, you have a solution to separate unit with domain name or other attributes?

Thanks in advance for your answer!

You can create different authorization profile based on the identity group they belong to, therefore, make two profiles based on two membership group (guests / corporate AD users) and assign them different access. consult the ISE 1.2 config guide.

  • Network of Cisco 1140 Standalone AP "guest."

I think the purchase of the stand-alone version of the AP of 1140, (AIR-AP1142N-x-K9-bi-bande Standalone 802.11a/g/n). My question is can I install a network of 'guest' with these conditions:

    1. Subnet separated, gets dhcp from the AP.
    2. No configuration of the DMZ on the firewall.
    3. No access to other subnets, internet only.
    4. You need a VLAN?

Thanks in Advace for your help!

    L. Mace

    1. Subnet separated, gets dhcp from the AP.   Yes, this could be done, just need to configure a scope on the AP, may support ip take for IP of the AP management.
    2. No configuration of the DMZ on the firewall.  Don't necessarily need the DMZ, but you'll have to leave the new subnet to cross
    3. No access to other subnets, internet only.  not a problem, ACL to the L3 device.
    4. You need a VLAN?  Yes.

    See you soon,.

  • Droid Turbo could not connect the Cisco access point

    Greetings.

Since the upgrade to a droid turbo, I was unable to connect to the network without wire of my work. I work in the it Department, but my experience with Cisco technologies and wireless is limited, so I tried to understand why. My previous bike x worked fine. We have a network of all the access points managed by a controller Cisco 4402 running version 7.0.98 of the BONES. I was able to connect to another wireless network that I could meet outside of work, and I am able to connect to the network of my work if I connect it is unsecured guest SSID. Only connections to our 4 secure networks fail. The controller reports that my phone cannot all simply to authenticate. The controller is configured for WPA2 / AES using a key 284 on the particular network, that I am trying to connect. I entered this key manually both via copy and paste. As far as my phone goes, I only tried to withdraw and time networks like tent to start it in safe mode without success. I read on various forums android that maybe it's a problem related to Kit Kat and this kind of problem has appeared on other handsets from other manufacturers, but nothing definite.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

  • I can log on to a wireless network in as a guest, but cannot log on to the normal network. Linksys seems to think that my XP needs a fix of WPA security?

Network card is Linksyswireless - B usb adapter V2.8 #2 outskirts... linksys E1000 router is. .... XP with service pack 3

Complete the message, please, without paraphrasing.  Also explain what you mean by 'connect... as a guest' and 'normal network.

You have a relatively new wireless-n (which is capable of WPA2) router and an ancient wireless adapter.

I'm sure that your 'wireless-B usb adapter V2.8 #2' network is in fact a WUSB11

The latest driver for the WUSB11 version 2.8 (from June 2004) actually supports WPA (although not WPA2, which is the preferred level of wireless encryption today).  Download here: http://homedownloads.cisco.com/downloads/driver/1224638362253/WUSB11-v2.8_dr.zip

User Guide and quick start for your WUSB11 v. 2.8 are here (click on the downloads button)

You should really consider getting a wireless n adapter.  It would be much faster, but also much safer.
