is there one in order to reinstall the drivers on a pressario r3460us?

I am running XP one a R3460US. In my view, that the laptop should be well cleaned and restored.

I have the OS provided w laptop drive. I've also downloaded all the drivers for the R3460.

I installed the other drivers on a Dell computer, and they recommended a specific order. This also apply for COMPAQ laptops?

Thank you!! Happy new year!!

Happy new year!

Yes, there is an order generally accepted to install drivers on any PC:

Chipset, graphics, Audio, network. (some audio flipflop and network).

Then all the others.

If you want to follow the advice of Dell, this problem would be solved.

  • Code 39 - video card driver. already tried to reinstall the drivers several times.

Suddenly, I lived this issue one day after having had a normal life with a new video card.  It was quite well until you restart the next day, where he then reports in Manager device which:

Windows cannot load the driver for this hardware device. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)

I am completely puzzled, as I have:

-If she had problems with drivers-free work provided by the CD the initial day of the installation,
    -A tried several installations of:
    (a) CD drivers provided by.
    (b) latest driver from nVidia.
    (c) later twist driver Xtreme-G.
    (d) to allow Windows Update to install the drivers.
-Also attempted to return to the old video card and using [compatible] drivers for it, but it returned code 39; This video card, I had no such problems with in the past.

The first noticeable symptom has been toggled off Aero and the resolution to 640.  I am unable to run several games/etc. as the video card is automatically disabled "because he has a problem.  My graphics card is an ASUS 240 512 DDR5 ENGT, and the old one is eVGA 9400 GT; my OS is Windows 7 x 64.   The first time using the map with this computer, it was compared with the time 3D games Vantage / real and proved to be stable and functional order.

I can't do a restore with the drivers, or have no system restore points.  Everything is fine and I can still watch videos (assuming that the CPU is handling); I can also run games like Starcraft, which I suppose doesn't require DirectX or anything that requires a dedicated card.

I tried the sweeper driver as well as the General uninstaller, and he still refuses to acknowledge the drivers - this was done after a full withdrawal of all components of nVidia ("NVIDIA Drivers", PhysX and NVIDIA Control Panel); However, I saw again the nVidia control panel in the Panel of the menu start (no uninstall programs and features). my steps were:

    (1) Uninstall using programs uninstall,
    (2) secure using mode driver sweeper,
    3) reset, once again in SafeMode to aid driver sweeper,
    (4) restart, install the drivers.

Of this, I was successfully able to disable the generic automatic installation of drivers window; later, I was able to install the video drivers.  However it still does not.  The Control Panel also continues to say, "Now you do not use a screen attached to a NVIDIA GPU", and Device Manager reports code 39.

I'm running out of ideas, so I'm looking for outside help for this problem - I appreciate any information you may be able to provide.

Check the programs and features (and memory), I can say that I have nothing else that the drivers installed for the new video card.

I reinstalled the drivers for the 9400GT when I was testing to see if the replaced card would fail, and he gave the code 39.

    Thanks for your comments.

EDIT: The problem seems to be fixed after a reinstall of Windows.  I give my thanks to both of you for the effort.

  • HP Pavilion Touchsmart kept Sound disappears after installation and reinstalling the drivers

I have a HP Pavilion Touchsmart 14-B132TX Sleekbook. My sound disappeared while I was using it a month ago. I called the HP Hotline and Technical Support told me just uninstall it from the Device Manager and when restarted, automatically installs the driver. What I did.

The sound came back but still once he disappeared after about 15 minutes of use, so I called tech support again and they gave me links to HP support for drivers to download and install which I did and rebooted the computer and the sound came back again. BUT again, the noise has disappeared. I called tech support and they just do a system restore which I did and the sound came back again. But he disappeared again after all just 7 minutes of use.

These are the drivers, I installed from the HP Web site: sp60642, sp64082, sp60464 and sp64031. After reinstalling the drivers. I cleaned my laptop with CCleaner and went to HP Support Assistant in the hope of getting a solution, there was a statement here to download the QUALCOMM Atheros driver and I installed again the driver said... The sound has come back after rebooting. AND again, he has disappeared after just using the laptop for about 3 minutes. (it gets worse!.) This laptop is quite new, he just bought 10 months ago. What is going on? Please help me. I use the Windows 8 operating system. PLEASE HELP ME.

    Hello

    Try the following.

Open windows control panel, open Windows Update, select "View update history" in the left pane and then select "Installed updates" link in the next window.

Locate the KB2962407 update, right click and choose uninstall.  Once completed, restart the computer, open windows control panel, open Windows Update and select "Check for updates".  You will see the update that you have uninstalled just offered once again - right click and select "Hide update".

After that you may or may not need to remove and reload the sound driver - if you do, how to use Recovery Manager to reinstall the drivers and software is detailed in the document at the link below.

  • Reinstall the drivers c3180 after malware attack

My desktop computer running Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64-bit has been affected by malicious software that does not appear to have an impact on my Photosmart C3180 all-in-One. I run the HP Solution Center and get this screen:

When I clicked on the link to update Flash Player, I received this warning from my antivirus program:

After the execution of analyses, the workarounds and suggested corrections, I finally just uninstall HP and Flash Player and try the road to reinstall both from scratch.

Having a problem reinstalling the drivers of HP. I go as far as this screen with the full range of HP and then stop:

Then I tried just for the C3180 Photosmart basic drivers but I have a warning saying that my OS is not supported, even if I downloaded the drivers for Windows 7 64-bit.

    Any suggestion would be appreciated.

I'll give it a go and let you know if it succeeds. In the meantime I use MS Paint for scanning and the work of the printing option. Comes to be done without the HP Solution Center. Thank you

  • OfficeJet 4652: Difficult to reinstall the drivers for OfficeJet 4652.

What I did was I uninstalled your, smart photo software and it took out the drivers. When I try reinstalling the drivers software says that everything is installed all but the HP update and the intelligent software photo infamies. I tried pretty much everything you can think off.

Oakey-dokey. The work of uninstalling, the framework has not been installed correctly, and I have not noticed.

Let me explain what I did:

    1. Uninstalled Photo creation, which has removed HP desktop icons and stop the printer works wirelessly. Not Cool...
    2. So now I took everything, so I thought that I did. All related files, registry entries, the image files and deleted the folder printer and Device Manager. This has been done with all, Regseeker and OORegEdit. "Third party software to a few ' widows is great. : ). Anyway.
    3. Reinstall the software. And to my surprise all the software I thought I removed except photos creation was still installed, at least that's what showed on your Setup.
    4. I think my problem was, (because before I decided to try HP, I've installed and uninstalled the software once or twice), once more a windows problem.
    5. Problem: I tried to get my laptop to recognize the printer via the Control Panel, the devices and printers. It does not work. It isn't that I went through "Windows Settings", 'add devices and printers' work.
    6. In any case greenturtle, thank you. For as far as I'm concerned this problem as another Windows. Perhaps the year 43 or 44 years a charm.

  • How to move a local network printer without having to reinstall the drivers

    Hello

Is it possible to change a printer to a network printer on a local printer without having to reinstall the printer drivers?

The computer on which the printer (a Lanier LP116c PCL 5 c) is currently connected [directly] is running Win XP.  It is a stand-alone computer without any connectivity; network, internet ect.   He has no printer drivers installed because the computer had been connected to another computer by using working groups and was able to print at the Lanier through working groups.  But now that there is no longer connected to the 'network', but rather directly connected to the printer, it will not be printed.

I tried to change the properties of the driver to "tell the computer" that the printer is now connected directly however when I try to open the properties I: "printer properties cannot be displayed.  The print spooler service is not running.

How to 'know the computer' that the printer is now connected directly without having to reinstall the dirivers?

    Thank you!

    Carrie

You have two questions.  One is assigning the correct port for the printer and the other is fixing what is originally the print spooler service to not run.

As much as I can give you guidelines on how solve the second problem, it will be much easier for you to uninstall and reinstall the printer (once the print spooler works again) that in order to create a "USB virtual port" which is what needs to be done unless the computer was once a printer connected by USB is installed.

Often, but not always, an order print spooler is the result of a corrupt print job stuck in the queue or a damaged printer driver.  However before you clean things up, on general principles, that you can download, install, update and run full scans with each of these two free programs:

    AntiMailware MalwareBytes
    SUPERAntiSpyware

Do not operate the two scans simultaneously.  Each will take a long time, so start it and then go do something else for a while.

    Cleaning of printers

NOTE: If you have ever had (but retired) a Lexmark or Dell - badged Lexmark printer installed, the command "net start spooler" to step below may fail.  In this case, type the following line in the black command prompt window and then type the command "net start spooler" again:

dependent on the spooler of sc config = RPCSS

Note that there is no space before the =

If still no joy, use the alternative method that is linked below.

    A. Clean on print jobs pending

    • Open a command prompt window (start > run > cmd > OK)
    • Type the following in the black command prompt window, and then press ENTER after each line

    net stop spooler
    del/q '% windir%\system32\spool\PRINTERS\*.* '.
    net start spooler
    output

    B. clean the old printer drivers and install the latest drivers by using the directions in One Article.

Alternative to the method of his first Article: http://members.shaw.ca/bsanders/CleanPrinterDrivers.htm

Once the print spooler has started, click Start > printers and faxes, right click on the Lanier printer icon and select properties and select the Ports tab.  If you already have a USB connected printer installed on this computer, there should be a port named USBnnn.  If there is, check the box and OK your way out and your printer should now print when connected by USB.  If there is no USB port listed, then do the reinstall as explained in an Article.  The driver install package available here should create and install the USB port for you: http://www.lanier.com/downloads/driverFrame.aspx?path=http://support.aficio.com/bb/html/dr_ut_e/lan_u/model/c30e/c30een.htm

  • Black screen with cursor when connecting Windows 7. Reinstall the drivers doesn't help not.

I have a Windows 7 Pro machine that boots to a black screen with a cursor instead of the login prompt, but if I press some keys like enter and tab that I will get a few blue squares where probably windows are appearing.

I can boot into safe mode and log in. I can then disable or uninstall the video card and the boot into normal windows. But if I install the Intel to the HD3000 integrated video drivers, the black screen will be there waiting for me when I reboot.

I tried with and without external monitors connected.

I tried to uninstall the drivers in the menu programs and features (also selection to completely remove the drivers), and I uninstalled them through Device Manager. I then reboot before installing the Intel drivers again. I tried the version on the site Web of Panasonic, as well as the latest version of the Intel Web site. Results have been the same every time.

Are there left behind somewhere that I could try to remove registry keys? Perhaps a more thorough removal method? Something more creative? All ideas welcome!

    Hi Brian,.

According to the information that you, as you can start your computer in safe mode without problem, then the problem is probably with the supplied driver. Since the installation of the driver is causing the problem to occur, one possible cause is a driver you want to install is not compatible with the system. We suggest that you contact the manufacturer of your computer for help on installing the correct driver for your PC.

    Kind regards.
