  Assuming that you are using this model special, you can improve it up to 16 GB of RAM. Please note that Apple supports only 8 GB of RAM, so apart from that upgrades are made at your own risk.

• Strange problem with S12 ION HDMI

  I had my S12 ION yesterday and he enjoyed so far.  However, the problem with the HDMI is irritating me

  I connected the S12 to my Samsung 40 inch TV (Samsung LN40B630) brought new and found that, in certain areas of the screen, there are a few blinking color issue. It seems like certain spectrum little kid of color was not probably disappeared as they "twinkle", a bit like the stars in the sky. It is not a great problem, but since I certainly see the effect, it will affect my pleasure. It is only that, thought, when I use the 1080 p max resolution. If I lower the resolution to some extent, the flickering effect will be gone. Also note that the problem does not exist when I use the VGA connector instead of the HDMI cable.

  I know that TV and cable are OK, because I use the same cable with my Asus O! Play on the same TV, video playback 1080 p, and this worked awesomely well.

  Is anyone else experienced the same problem?

  Once more I answered my own question.  I tried another cable HDMI (1-3, $4 of monoprice.com), and now everything works great.  It is the problem of HDMI cable.  Problem solved.

  The M50 can be upgraded to 2 GB! It's a good and two 1 GB memory modules should work!
  Did you use the same memory modules?
  I found the 1024 MB PC2700 (PA3313U-2M1G) modules on the Toshiba site options & accessories.
  In my opinion, you should try this module.

  A lot of modules without a name is not 100% compatible and the quality is poor. I use the modules of Kingston and I m very happy. To my knowledge Toshiba portable computers are delivered either with memory modules Toshiba or Kingston.
