The series F60 has a "Displayport"?

I want to get a Matrox TripleHead2Go unit and try to determine which model to get. There is a VGA or Displayport version that supports several variations of resolution...

Is the Port HDMI F60 a Displayport?

This product is not known to me, but according to the specification, it can be used on most PC and portable computers that have a single video on port only. Thus, the Qosmio F60 as one of the most powerful portable Toshiba should be portable perfect for this.

I don't know what you mean exactly under displayport but for connecting external monitor you can use the HDMI or VGA port. Difference is that HDMI port offers better transfer video and audio signals to your external device. VGA port sends a video signal only. Thus, the HDMI port will be best option for connection between Qosmio and this external unit.

It has two ports Thunderbolt.  One is connected to the cable, the other is on the back of the screen.  If you can't find the Thunderbolt port, you will have the Mini DisplayPort in the screen version.  It has three USB ports on the back.  The Thunderbolt display has three USB ports, a FireWire port, an Ethernet port, and a Thunderbolt port on the back.

  • Foto monitor

    Hello

I searched on an external monitor, 24-25 ", for my Mac Book Pro, start 2011 with a Thunderbolt connection." I m a bit confused with different connections. Dell has an interesting model, 2515 U H, which has a suitable screen size and a very good resolution, perfect for my needs. There, according to the possibilities of connection:

    2 connector HDMI (MHL)

    1 mini DisplayPort

    1 DisplayPort (version 1.2)

1 DisplayPort of the Rockies (MST)

I guess in my case directly connecting to a port mini display should be possible in Mac Book, am I right? I am aware of the different types of problems with external monitors; flickering, problems with the mode of awakening and sleep etc. What should I be afraid to face these problems with the Dell monitor?

    Best regards

    Hi ripaja,

Looks like you're wanting to know if you can use the monitor of this particular model with mini display port with your early 2011 MacBook Pro. In accordance with the following article, which should operate, given that you can plug a mini monitor in a thunderbolt port, but not the other way around:

    1. can I connect a Mini DisplayPort monitor or use of a Mini DisplayPort adapter to a Thunderbolt on my Thunderbolt equipped Mac port?

Yes. A Mini DisplayPort screen or a login screen with a Mini DisplayPort to VGA, DVI or HDMI adapter will work as it linked to a Mini DisplayPort connector, when branch directly to the connector on your computer Apple Thunderbolt. Hi all

After doing some digging around, pretty of course fell in love the chip in the spectrum xt 15 t-4000 does not support chaining monitor displayport 1.2.

Going to try one of these StarTech USB 3 displayport adapters and see if it will do:

If all goes well, that will work.

Just to be complete, love at first sight 2 chipsets include 1.2 support. So, anyone buying a new laptop with this new chipset profit not only from 20 GB throughput, but will be able to monitors able Garland dp 1.2, such as the dell u3014.

  • The B326HK supports HDCP on HDMI, DisplayPort and Mini DP 2.2? A weaker version of HDCP?

The B326HK supports HDCP on all or part of its connections? Which? All are supported HDCP version 2.2? I read on Internet websites many dealers some version of it is taken in charge on DVI, but no comment on HDMI, DisplayPort and Mini DisplayPort. In conflict with these sites, product specification for the Acer online store reports that HDCP is not supported. • W520 config 2 monitors via Mini Dock 3

    Hello

    I have a W520 with NVidia Quadro 2000 M and 2 monitors Dell U2515H x.

The user guide Dell said to allow 1.2 DP that I did on both monitors.

I have the W520 on a Mini Dock 4338 and monitor 1 is linked to via a DisplayPort cable.

Monitor 1 I have then a DP cable into the output port will monitor 2 via the port.

My problem is that I can't get a double on both screens Dell display. When I use the control panel NVidia (version 8.1.870.0) & try to set up multiple monitors it shows a single monitor.

I looked in customization, click on detect, it shows the two valleys as monitor 1.

I want to thank the views. Any help appreciated.

  • Advice needed centenarians and hi-res W520 or new and low resolution W530?

    Hello people!

I'd appreciate your advice and your experience to help me with my contemplation.

Im a CAD (solidworks, autocad, revit) and graphics (adobe, sony vegas) user, I need a new machine because my x200t do not support the load more...

I have a limited budget, and I have two options with the same price (of Lenovo in any case):

    A demo version of W520:

    Machine type/model: 42844 MG

    Intel Core i7-2860QM - 2.5 GHz

    2 x 4 GB 500 GB 7200 RPM

    15.6 inches (1920 x 1080 nVidia 2000M 2 GB)

    DVD - Rec

    WiF, cornflower, WWAN

RPF 9elements color sensor Cam card reader

    Windows 7 Pro 64

    New W530:

    Intel Core i7-3720QM - 4 c - 2.6 GHz

    8GB 500 GB 7200 RPM + 32 GB mSATA

    15.6 inch (1600 x 900 nVidia Quadro 1100 M)

DVD - Rec WiFi color sensor of fingerprint 4-in-1 card reader

    Backlit keyboard 9 cell cam

    Windows 7 Pro 64

I would buy something and forget the upgrade for the next 3 years...

    I'd appreciate advice.

    Kind regards

    Gili

    • Do not spend money for the color sensor. Buy a sensor of external color that you can use the laptop monitor and your internal display.
    • Why do you have 32 GB on the W530 mSATA? Go with an SSD as a single disc, or go with an SSD in the main Bay and the HARD drive in an adapter ultra bay. I don't think that the 32 GB mSATA is logical from the financial point of view as a disk cache only.
    • Do you need the cam on the on the W530, which should save money as well.

    2000M (W520) vs... K1000M (W530)

Both have 192 cores, 2 GB of Ram, bandwidth, same memory, same version of OpenGL, shader model directX version PCI-E generation FP32 and Optimus.

Differences: K1000M gives you DisplayPort 1.2 and the 2000M is only DisplayPort 1.1. TDP is less than 10W on the K1000M.

See this pdf to more details.

For graphics cards will perform more or less the same (W530 could be able to turbo graphics or more processor because of less PDT). You will benefit from the additional performance of the 3720? If so, then I'd go with the W530.

I normally recommend Win 7 Home Premium and not Pro, since they both will come with a $14.99 to Win 8 Pro upgrade. I guess you want to stay on Win 7, at least until the 8 is on SP1, if not for the life of the machine. So Win7 Pro might be good for you, if you need functionality.

You what you need to consider is: the processor in the W530 will benefit you more than the screen on the W520 and you prefer one keyboard on the other.

  • Displayport ENVY causes battery lose detection and performance max brightness

    I have a HP ENVY 17 - 3D was released in early 2012, running Windows 7.

It has 1 HDMI port and 2 additional display ports. The graphics card is ATI HD 7690 M XT and supports switchable graphics on the fly.

The processor chip is 2nd generation Intel Quad Core i7.

    Problem

When I use the displayport cable "Displayport to DVI" connector active, my battery would not be detected, and the brightness of the computer screen laptop builtin automatically tops out at 100%, without the possibility of reducing its brightness in my custom settings powerplan (100% light is bright for me). I recently started to use the displayport to send video clips as extended desktop to an old monitor LCD of Sony, which has instead of the latest HDMI DVI. The HDMI port has now been connected to the flat screen TV. Even if I converted the portable/DVI on the old Sony HDMI signal, and only a monstercable adapter-nothing fancy, I never lost the features. This started to happen when I started using the display port...

However, as soon as I return to the HDMI output that is unique to all monitors, my battery is still visible, and I can adjust the brightness of the screen through my powerplan again...

This problem is only apparent when I use display port...

Finally, the catalyst software is the original that came with the machine I can't update this because nothing else apparently takes in charge the switchable graphics and have had bad luck with the newer versions... If I'm wrong please let me know...

    What I try to do

Very simply, the laptop's HDMI port will connect directly to a TV dish 1080 p SAMSUNG. This image is simply a mirror of the laptops display, which is also the same resolution - 1080 p. The old Sony monitor simply connects to the Displayport now via an active adapter 'Displayport - to - DVI' to use the extended desktop.

Overall, it's just 1 screen flat TV cloned/updates mirrored on the laptops display in the same resolution (1080 p), and 1 smaller screen for the range of extended desktop. So 3 screens are light in total:

Laptop + SAMSUNG TV via HDMI direct (in mirror and identical - the two 1080 p resolution)

Monitor Sony via displayport using '-Displayport to DVI-' active adapter.

Everything else works fine - I just lost my battery and the ability to control my screen brightness, which is huge for us with power outages and have reduced the brightness...

If anyone has had this problem and what should I do?

    Any help appreciated...

    Thank you very much

    GIO
