  I use the CC prelude as my tool main ingestion/logging to my media clips. Until the end of 2014, I used some Pp and ME for the speech to text. Was not perfect, but a little work at least allowed to incorporate metadata script. Since Adobe decided to remove the feature from all of its products, can anyone suggest a new workflow, or a third-party product (the Mac-based) that I can use and import into prelude or first?

• Several workflow mask - am I doing this right?

  Hey guys,.

  I currently have a piece of film that I want to be "revealed" by the use of several ink spot. Mask MOV using inverse Luma Mattes.

  The only way I knew how to do is duplicate show the film again and again with another part being hidden so that it is progressive. I can't imagine that this is the best way to do it though.

  What do you guys suggest?

• Suggestions of workflow for prelude CC, 4 Pluraleyes and first CC

  Hello world

  Working on a project of video art for several months and I have 30 hours of raw footage. The video is a digital SLR, and the audio comes from a Zoom H5. I have not synced anything still. My question is, given the large amount of images, and the need to keep all organize, what workflow you would recommend?

  (a) sync all in PE first, merge video with the sound quality of the Zoom, import and Prelude and go from there?

  or

  (b) any import as a prelude, then sync once everything has been recorded

  or

  (c) a workflow that I have not yet thought.

  Appreciate your help. Would rather think through this now before I get started in message until later when I have to correct my mistakes (inevitable).

  The workflow 'best', I found is this:

  Audio and video synchronization via the MOU and the export is like a new media file, (that is to say the audio on the original video has been replaced by the new, better audio track). I now have two files and a video update that has the best Acoustics "burned" in the best acoustics in a separate file.

  I then import both prelude, where I do my record (mainly just use prelude as a faster way to add markers - I work with 30 hours of interviews with then mark the long passages based on themes, small phrases, etc.). From there on, it's just a skip hop and a jump to first!

  The reason that I opted for this workflow is because I don't want to not bring bad audio data first and then synchronize to the top the sound quality more late in the first - especially when you start to make the sub-elements and/or sous-séquences that becomes problematic.

• A RAW workflow on the iPad - first impressions

  Since Adobe released Lightroom Mobile 2.4, which includes support for editing RAW files, I did experiments with the help of my iPad Pro as part of my photography work that I wanted to find a way to use the iPad as a desktop replacement for when I'm away from home. I wanted to share with you my experience, who has managed for the most part so far.

  The workflow allows me to use my iPad Pro apply enhancements to RAW images (.cr2) taken with my digital camera to edit and share directly from the iPad, or for mounting on Office of Lightroom on PC when I'm at home.

  First of all, for this test the following was used:

  • iPad Pro 9.7 "iOS10 running beta 3, iCloud library active
  • Lightroom 2.4 with subscription cloud creative mobile
  • Lightroom CC 15.6.1 on Windows PC 10.
  • Lightning to (version 2016) SD card reader
  • SanDisk Extreme SDHC I have SD Card
  • account iCloud with 50 GB storage plan
  • Connection of 50 MB fibre broadband

  For the test, I took 216 photos with my Canon G7X in RAW and JPEG mode. Then, I realized that I had to remove JPEG copies like the iPad will read only the JPEG where there is a RAW and JPEG files under the same filename. The workflow is the following:

  1. Insert the SD card in lightning to SD card reader and insert it to the iPad.
  2. The iPad to display the import dialog box and thumbnails of your RAW images will begin to load. Choose select all and Import of Photos (you don't have to wait for the thumbnails to load). It took 2 minutes and 45 seconds to download the RAW 213 files to the iPad, which are about 19 MB each; It is approximately 1.3 seconds per photo. If you are connected to WiFi and have a space of storage iCloud, the original RAW images will begin to be saved on iCloud instantly - you can check it out by going to www.icloud.com.
  3. The Photos app, select Albums > last import > select > select all > Add To > New Album (album name).
  4. With the photos in an album, you can browse and take down the images that you do not want (Note: remove them only sends the recently deleted folder, which permanently deletes the photos after 30 days).
  5. Open Lightroom Mobile. Either import the images into Lightroom, by creating a new Collection: Add of Photos (my preferred method), or by choosing Camera Roll > (drop-down) > Select Album (album to choose or open recently removed).
  6. You will notice a small symbol RAW in the middle of the thumbnails indicating that they are RAW files. Click on... > select all > Add the Photos.
  7. The images will be added to Lightroom Mobile and you can start to make changes on the iPad. Original RAW (no Smart Previews) images are then synced to Lightroom via creative cloud office and will appear in your folders organized as if you imported the directly to the PC. (It is important to note that the original RAW file is now saved on your PC in the same organizational structure of folder you would expect if you were to be imported directly to the office of Lightroom)
  . All changes made to LR Mobile will be synchronized on LR Desktop.
• Once photos are synced to creative cloud severs, you can then remove your iPad Camera Roll to free up storage space (or, if you have enough iCloud of storage, you can free up storage leaving iCloud automatically manages your storage unit so you never run out of space).

Overall, I found the process very simple and the new iPad has more than enough processing power to be able to handle the RAW image editing. It also has a very beautiful high resolution screen. Indeed, during the operation it is much faster than my HP laptop running Windows 10. In addition, unlike the desktop version, LR Mobile uses fully real estate screen on the iPad in edit mode, which makes it easier to use than the complete Lightroom running on smaller laptops.

The main limitation for me is that I still have to make some progress editing such as merging HDR and panorama LR Office, but because LR Mobile syncs across the original RAW images on the cloud, the transition between the mobile and desktop is seamless.

I hope that some people will find this useful. It's great to finally have almost complete office on the iPad's capability, and I think it's really going to transform my photography workflow.

  Currently, there is no REST out-of-the-box service that allows to query or return information of workflow. If you need this report REST you can write your own page of utility (SiteEntry and CSElement) who works in a relaxing way, taking arguments and retrieve the necessary data based on workflow JSP tags, then return an XML response.

  The activity return returns a string which ID flow of the target of the navigation in the parent task. If you return for example the string "start_again" in the child workflow, you can add a rule of wild-card navigation to the parent and add a navigation of this wild card the default activity rule and the name "start_again". When your child task flow end the return of workflow is executed and "start_again" is passed as the next navigation to the parent workflow. The Joker takes this navigation and the default activity is executed.

  It will happen when your Photoshop color settings (image 1) does not match your files.  The first thing to do is to check your color settings (Edit > parameters of color or shift-command-K).  You will see that mine is set to ProPhoto RGB.  When you use RAW files, you can set the desired picture profile by clicking on the link at the bottom of the window of Camera RAW, which will bring up the workflow Options (image 2).  Here, you can see that mine is set to ProPhoto RGB, which means I'm not all conflicts.  You will have the profile matches no window, when these are different.

  Most cameras have the possibility of sRGB and Adobe RGB for RAW files no, and when the RAW capture ignores this parameter allows to set in the workflow window.  I hope this helps.

  I just started to work with Orchestrator and meet some disappoint the situation.

  When I use standard workflows 'Add an organization' (version 0.0.43) everything works well and the organization is created, but on the next step I receive no vCloud:Organization object.

  I have reproduced this standard workflow and add two lines for debugging in the last element «back organization»

  So now it has 3 rows:

  org = adminOrg.toUserObject ();

  Server.Log (org);

  System.Log (org);

  Now, if I run this double created workflow organization and I got this error:

  TypeError: Cannot find the default value for the object (Workflow: test_add_org / back Organization (item3) #1).

  Also I see tab Variables variable adminOrg is "Not found" and variable org is "undefined".

  I really want to learn how to use orchestrator and I hope that the community will help me learn how to debug these problematic situations.

  I realized that was a mistake. That the error on the url of the api.

  I have 2 node of vcd that I added to the plugin.

• How to link several workflows vCO to a state change worklfow vcac?

  I would like to be able to bind more than 1 process of vCO on measure for the change of State of ExternalWFStubs.BuildingMachine but vCAC allow me to do what (name of change workflow state is already in use, therefore preventing me to add another value to this custom property to the level of the action plan).

  Is this possible? I have 2 separate changes of workflows customized that perform different actions to be run during the State of the building; 1 create a new DNS entry while the other creates a new computer object in AD. For the record, I also have another vCO custom workflow that runs during the change of State of ExternalWFStubs.MachineProvisioned, so is not an option.

  Do I need to combine all Actions in a custom workflow vCO and then associate this workflow with the change of State of construction Machine (Stub) WF...?

  I answered my own question part. Combining all the workflows in 1 custom vCO will do. I would still know, however, if there is an easier way to achieve this goal by combining (maybe) vCO several Workflows to the same ExternalWF Stub... ??

  For what it's worth, I have just a "workflow" 'root' for each stub (buildingmachine, alienate, machineprovisioned, etc.) which will open then any number of subsequent workflow. I find this easier method follow the workflow is executed. You also have the advantage of executing asynchronously things if they are released in the same root workflow.

  Finally, you can control the order in which workflows run and can be creative in when they run. Consider the example:

  and "Run the workflow code 2?" is:

  return (updatedProperties.keys.indexOf("RunWorkflow2") > -1);
  

  Now, if I add the custom property "RunWorkflow1" to a plan of action / draw up profiles / property custom, it will run ' Run Workflow 1 ", then jump on the other and complete. Similarly, if you want to run the workflow 2, simply add another custom property RunWorkflow2 in the action plan.

  If you are designing in this way, it allows you manage 1 workflow root while still customizing plans to do different actions.

• 2nd disc is not not formatted/partitioned in vCAC 6 - What could this mean?

  When you generate the two servers in windows 2008 R2 R2 and 2012, the 2nd disc is added but not partitioned even if I submit with a drive letter and label. I have the comments vcac agent installed on the two models.

  A strange thing is that I woke up a Windows pop on the comments vcac agent. To get this to stop I went on the log service and unchecked "allow service to interact with desktop." The message has disappeared but I still don't know what the underlying issue was if anything.

  You can use the workflow 'Send Notification' under the Mail folder. You need to set the appropriate parameters for the mail server and port, but there are some good examples in the Mail\Example Interaction with Email workflow.
