  According to the upgrade to 1.2:

  It seems that you have been a little too long watching it, and accidentally hurt interpreted the guide! The "copy" command uses no configuration repositories currently in the running-config, so you must type it out as follows

  copy [email protected] / * //ise-patchbundle.etc.etc.etc.tar.gz drive: \.

• Installation 1.1.3patch1 ISE?

  I currently have a virtual computer for management and 2 knots IPEP for 2 places differnet with VPN.

  I managed to install 1.1.3p1 on the virtual machine, but I can't patch 1 to install on the IPEPs. I had only an IPEP registered with the management node, so I removed that one until I applied the patch on the management node. Now the two IPEPs are offline and I can't get the patch to install.

  When I run:

  application upgrading ise-patchbundle - 1.1.3.124 - 1 - 75775.i386.gz myrepository

  I get the following response:

  Hi Dirk,

  Try "patch install" instead of "upgrading of demand." Looks like you install a patchbundle, not an appbundle.

  See if that helps.

  My company what ISE is installed in the virtual machine, we got a plan to upgrade the ISE 1.1.1.268 to 1.2 form. But I've read through all the documentation, it took VM Upgrade 32-bit to64.

  But I confused with the passage of the VM. If my current 32-bit virtual machine running for 1.1.1.268, am I still able to upgrade using the command "upgrade of the application" to direct do the upgrade "ise-upgradebundle - 1.1.x - to-1.2.0.899.i386.tar.gz.   Should I be concerned about the license and certificate after the upgrade?

  I'm not a VM guy either, but if you follow the news on the link, you should be fine. The tasks that you mentioned are tasks that occur automatically when you perform the upgrade procedure. Once this process is complete, you will need to change the settings for the virtual machine. So if you have a single ISE node you will need to:

  1. run the upgrade process

  2. power off the virtual machine

  3. set in VM Ware:

  -Type of OS (required)

  -RAM (optional) - the ISE's hardware installation guide check

  -CPU (optional) - check the ISE's hardware installation guide

  3. turn on the computer, virtual back and try it again

  If you have a distributed deployment, then you will need to follow the instructions for it

• ISE NFR extend drive 200 GB

  I have a server ISE NFR 1.1.1.268 which I've updated to version 1.2, which works very well, except for one minor thing, the required drive is 200 GB and the NFR is created with 60 GB and so I get a lot of alarms in the GUI. I know that I could probably just disabled the alarm, but I would like to know if there is a way to resize the disks of ISE? I've resized in my VM settings, but I have no apparent way to ISE resize the partion of real file system.

  I solved the problem in the following way:

  I installed a new ISE with HW-requirements met and said that for my NFR-deployment. Then change roles (in my case, add another ISE) and then delete the original.

  Greetings. I'm doing an eval with the demo version of the ISE. Demo image is 1.0 and I'm trying to upgrade to 1.1.  I have the file appbundle on the box but I can't find this "repository" I should make reference to perform the upgrade.  It is not directly referenced in any of the documents that I have watched.

  Try to 1.1.1.268 upgrade patch 5 at 1.1.2.145.  It fails to say that the package is not in the correct format via the GUI.  Tried via CLI and I see it in the newspapers.

  David,

  You can pass only the ise node when its autonomous and through cli mode. Please, use the command to upgrade the application to do the upgrade.

• How can I activate the "Host key" for my sftp to the ISE Server?

  I can't copy my files to upgrade 1.2 ISE to my repositories the.

  Here is a cut and paste of my CLI on one of my knots ISE after attemtping to copy from my workstation (running a SFTP server) to one of my nodes of ISE.

  I don't have whatever it is configured with the option "host key.

  I googled and searched, but cannot find references limited to the "Host key" command within Cisco. I tried various forms of it on the ISE node with no luck.

  I tried an FTP transfer, but it does not work.

  Any ideas?

  You can try to add a repository to your local configuration as an sftp server that should start the process host key.

  Is there a firewall between your computer and the server of the ISE? Also there is the newspaper from the ftp server that exclude the server to deny the download?

  Try to go to v1.1.1 first, add patch3 and then go to v1.1.2.

• Missing options to EHT

  IM setting up a demo of the ISE, version 1.1.1.268, using the trial license included (advanced 100 base + 100). The ISE is installed on a Vmware ESXi host. The image of the ISE was downloaded directly from Cisco's Web site.

  I'm posture configuration to check the av, but I can't get most of the options that guide the ISE and shown the documents. For example, in terms of posture, I don't see any provider available antivirus (see attachment) or the conditions of default av checking.

  did I miss an option, the version won't? any help would be appreciated.

  I fixed the format. I think that you use only S. However the user guide says ST for the State.

  We have a bug known on that as well where the ISE should raise a more explicit error and say what was wrong

  Symptom:

  ISE survey "Generation of CSR failed" with "invalid certificate subject DN length" when you create a CSR to EHT

  Conditions:

  It happens not necessarily when the question is too long, but if the format is bad too

  For example, if you enter 'C = Belgium' instead of 'C = BE', you will get this error.

  State and country are 2 field of certificates requiring letters and no name and surname.

  Workaround solution:

  Correct your fields to match the format of right X 509
