  • Could not open the iso file on El captain

    Hello

I have wan´t to burn an iso file to a DVD but I can´t opened using disk utility, as it should. When I click to open the file, nothing happens.

I also tried to mount the iso image using the terminal, and it says that it is impossible to mount the file system.

I have no idea how to solve this problem... Thank you in advance.

Apple has removed this possibility of disk utility 10.11

Right or OPT + click on the ISO file and select "burn to disc", the OS will burn an image ISO bootable 10.11.

Also you should probably update your card, those tell you under Snow Leopard.

  • Cannot install win10 using iso file training camp

I'm on OSX EL Capitan, fully updated.

Boot camp is not allowing me to use the ISO file to install windows iso 10 file.

He does not allow me to use the iso file, regardless of the option that I check or uncheck. It's extremely frustrating.

What is the year/model of your Mac? Your signature says 2013 iMac.

2015 and subsequent Macs use only ISO and create an internal partition called OSXRESERVED.

2012-2014 macs need an external USB2 Flash drive, which will be erased/formatted by BC Assistant. The ISO file needs to be disassembled and some elements of the ISO are copied on the USB.

Mac 2011 and more uses a physical Windows and built-in DVD in the optical drive must be fully functional.

  • How can I find out what the file extension is an attachment to an email?

I get an email with an attachment, I can not open with any of the applications that I have in my Ubuntu 14.04. How can I find what is the extension of the attached document, so I can find an attachment that can open and store?

I can't save it on the disk without the aid of an application

I am really curious what you could not do. There is no problem with saving a file on the disk without file extension.

I don't like when a program hides important details of me

I don't think that there is nothing that Thunderbird is hiding from you. Most likely the attachment is not a file extension - for any reason.

  • How to get an El Capitan 10.11.6. ISO file

    Hi all

I've been learning and courses on the configuration of virtual machines and I mainly used VirtualBox VM by Oracle. I've set up a few windows virtual machines, but I wanted to tryout creating an OS X VM. I did a bit of searching for an OS X 10.11.6 (El Capitan). ISO file to use, but has not been able to draw conclusions that seemed legitimate.

Where would be the best place to find? Or is it still possible to get?

    Thank you!

  • The .iso file I created with the Windows DVD 7 Professional 32 64 BIT is not installed using BootCamp because it says that it requires a 64 BIT .iso?

    Hello

I try to have a system dual boot on a 2012 end iMac 27 inches with Intel i7 under OS X El Capitan v10.11.4 who had replaced running Fusion HD. I created files .iso files to both a .cdr WIndows 7 all-in-one 32/64 BIT DVD and a DVD from 32 to 64 BITS of Windows 7 Professionaland also downloaded the BootCamp5.1.5621 drivers. I created the files .iso on a USB disk ejector WD Passport 160 GB ATA. When I try to use BootCamp to create a WIndows 7 install disk from the selected .iso files, it is said that this version is not 64-BIT and it requires 64-BIT install on my iMac. What Bootcamp, look in the files of la.cdr/.iso it determines that it is not 64 bit?

Please use your product key and download an ISO only 64 bits from https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows7 and place it in your Documents folder. Find a 8 + GB USB Flash drive, which will be in the format / erased by BCA. Run BCA and use the option create USB Installer (it should automatically check the software download option). When you are prompted, point to the ISO. This installer from USB can be used repeatedly.

El Capitan will create Setup with BC6 USB drivers. Please follow install Windows 7 and previous versions on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support and follow steps 1 through 16 in the Windows 7 installation section. Pay attention to step 11 in particular.

  • Bootcamp: Need for 64-bit Windows 8 or version later ISO file

I tried to download an ISO 64 bit of Windows 10 via Windows Media Center, and had the same result/error message (need for 64-bit Windows 8 or version later ISO file) occur.

It's very frustrating, because I have a new MacBook Pro 15 "(mi-2015), I want to install this on."

  • Why can't I managed to install the iso file in my USB? I've tried different usb and hard drives and disassembled a lot or time usb but when, it comes up with an error copying the files on and it stops loading? What should I do?

Why am I unable to download and copy iso files that need to go into the USB drive, it always comes up with an error when copying the installation files and none of the solutions have worked (some of the things I've tried are different from the USB, disassemble and repeat the download process windows files)

You cannot use a simple USB as a source and destination. You must copy the ISO file (it's a single file, not the full installer) in your Documents folder and then run BCA to create a USB installation program. 2015 macs do not create a USB installation program.

  • What is the .rxe file extension

Is someone can you please tell me what is the .rxe file extension?  I received the NXT robot autonomous OR (Switzerland) some files and their files have been compressed with rar.  When I unzipped brought the files .rxe.  I don't know what type of file this is.  I'm completely new to Labview, so maybe they are afflicted a Labview file?
    Thank you, Jon Hauris

RXE files are generated by the LEGO MINDSTORMS programming environment (also called NXT - G; it is based on LabVIEW but not equivalent).  These files contain binary data representing a MINDSTORMS program.  To open them, you need the LEGO software.

This comparison can also help clarify:

*. RXE is the format of binary file for LEGO MINDSTORMS NXT - G)

*.VI is the file format binary for LabVIEW

.doc for Microsoft Word binary file format is
