• 3850/3750 autonomous or Distribution stacked layer Question

  Hi all

  I have a client with three buildings all very close to the other dorsal 62.5 MM of fibre. They exceeded it current topology and I am trying to implement a distribution layer using a couple of 3750's or 3850's. They have already invested in Netgear at the access layer and I try to make the two work together, Cisco and Netgear. My experience is with Cisco don't know Netgear as well. The mixed vendor environment needs tests, the thing I'm not sure of using a distribution layer stacked with channels of ether of the access layer.

  The attached drawing shows the topology, I thought however, I have some concerns that I have documented in the drawing. Any advice would be appreciated.

  Would you consider using a chassis with redundant sup, power supplies and descenders, for the same device, on maps of different lines, as a device of distribution (or core)?  If so, it's about what you have with a battery (or VSS pair).  That is, if a frame (or a VSS pair) is a valid design, why a battery would be too.

  The benefits you have noted on your schema, for a battery would also apply to a frame (or a VSS pair).  Plus, you get more bandwidth.  PLEASE didn't need to block a redundant L2 path and stacking cables can provide more bandwidth then port 'normal '.

  EtherChannel should work between sellers using LACP.  (At least on Cisco, remember to choose an optimal hash algorithm.)

  The main disadvantage of a pile of Cisco, as a single chassis support redundancy, all the material is in a physical location.  Something is happening to this unique physical location, you lose this distribution node.

  Another downside, you are subject to a software problem, as a single logical device (applies also to the simple chassis or pair VSS), but with multiple devices of L2, you are then subject to defects of FHRP, STP, etc..

• Issues of capping layer

  I'm a web designer who is using Illustrator for all my work. Recently, a lot of my new jobs want me to work in Photoshop, so I'm getting back up to speed with it. I have a little nagging that I was not able to understand the questions:

  1. With the direct Selection tool, how to choose a small shape which straddles a larger shape? For example, a small line on top of a large rectangle. When I try to do this Photoshop automatically makes me choose the larger shape in the background. I have to zoom in super close and individually shift-select each corner of the smallest shape before I can move/transformation/what it is. It becomes painful and slow real quick!
  2. Recently in a document I'm working in whenver I do a new form, it automatically adds a bunch of styles of layer like shadow, stroke, etc. These styles are not put into market, but it adds unnecessary styles to my layers and my client is very strict about own receipt of only super .psd.
  3. How to make a line that is really 1px width stoke? My lines always seem initially like worms 2px blurred until I have to zoom and surgically making 1px. Once again, what a waste of time! is there some kind of anti-aliasing setting that I need to turn off?

  1. when the direct Selection tool is active, Cmd-click on a way to switch to the selection tool in the path with which you can drag the entire path or select the path for a transformation. Another Cmd-click will increase from SelectionTool Direct.

  2. perhaps you draw traces of shape within an already existing shape layer that has layer Style, or create new layers of shape within a group layer that has the unwanted layer Style.

  3. If you enable "Snap vector tools and transforms to pixel grid" in preferences > General and then orthogonal lines are not anti-aliasing. For curves without anti-aliasing and the general lines, I think you'll need traces of the race on layers pixelated with the pencil tool.

• Issue of current layer Set

  I noticed in one action that I have, it's a step that says "layer current Set.

  That's exactly what and how do you use it?  I want to add to an action that I've created.

  This means that the definition of a layer property of the layer that is usually

  assets in this stage of the action.

  If you click on the arrows flyout bit at this stage (set current layer),

  most of the time, you can see what is the real stage.

• Wireless deployment?

  Using Jdeveloper 12.1.3.0.0

  I'm trying to find out if its possible to deploy applications to CRG via a wireless connection for Android devices.

  I was able to establish a connection with the BAD with my android device by following the steps in this issue of stack overflow.

  Hi Scott.

  I doubt that it works. What you might try is to build the APK inside JDeveloper and deploy it directly on the command line with the AFDB.

  If you want a fully automated solution, you could build the APK from the command line using ojdeploy. This is explained in the documentation of the MAF: http://docs.oracle.com/middleware/maf213/mobile/develop-maf/maf-deploying.htm#ADFMF23725

• SpeedGrade color not seen in the first - ranking encoding didn't

  I have a dilemma! I was working on a first draft, and everything was fine. I finally go through the process of classification (in Mode of Direct relationship). I close the project and try to export to Adobe Media Encoder, and it failed, twice in different codecs. He kept stopping when it comes to images that have been classified. I opened the project in Premiere Pro, and I can't see a glimpse of what the film looks like with the custom of SpeedGrade looks on. I don't see the preview when it is off. Screenshots are attached. How can I keep the ranking, previsualisez in first and export the video! Help, please!

  Looks like you have two LUT applied there... where they come from, and where "they live" on your computer? There were a few LUT which seem to be usable in SpeedGrade, but no PrPro somehow. And a bit the other way around.

  My first guess would be that they are "findable" by SpeedGrade, but PrPro doesn't know where they are... it is one of the things that can still be a little glitch in the process of Direct relationship. I had problems like this before and a copy of the LUT in the PrPro program folder tree, in the Lumetri folder that contains the LUT that ship with PrPro. Then all of a sudden, PrPro could find the LUT.

  Something else if the above does not work... ask for these LUT on a new test sequence, with a "naked" clip with no ranking what, select the icon 'Save a LOOK like' the lower right panel of stacking layer and name them something appropriate and placed in your custom file to Look at this aspect Management tab remove the sequence , and then see the application that resemble your work supports and see if all of the LUT happens in it. Normally, this works very well, although sometimes something in a LUT transfer completely.

• Illustrator CC: text selection is not highlighting

  I have a basic document in Illustrator CC. The document is simply the text for a tree boxes.

  When I go to change the text in a text box, specifically try to select text and change the text - there is no text selection. I can not enter in a text box and double click to select text, nothing selects and/or there is no color selection.

  How can I fix text selection?

  Often you think you have nothing slected, but just to the edges of the showoing mode has been switched.

• Masking of the scale on the adjustment layer issues

  Hi all

  First of all I'm new to Premiere Pro. but I ran into a few problems that resemble bugs for me.  But if someone can put me right I would appreciate it.

  For example, I have a static image on a layer, revised downward to more small as the size of the total composition.

  I have an adjustment layer on it with an opacity mask, subtract blending mode, reversed.  The resulting crop all away from my picture out of the mask.  So far so good.

  If I then add keyframes to the scale of my image, I get a zoom effect, while the size of the image is the same (the size of my mask), that's what I want to achieve...

  However, a further review, there is a very faint line that shows outside of the mask, expanding outwards, which seems to be the contours of the image unmasked.  :-(  That is the number 1 issue.

  If I also add keyframes for opacity on the image, at the same time, I have a weird effect, almost as if the mask is ignored, because the image grows and becomes more opaque, but then finally catches up with the mask.  Almost as if, opacity, scale, and hide is just too much for the program to process.

  I tried rendering the project, but both of these issues show on the finished film.

  While experimenting with ideas to try to overcome the problem I also tried the feathers at the edge of the image... but giving still more bizarre results, with the edge to feathers, showing outside the masked area.

  Suggestions as to how I can get the result of desire would be appreciated.  (Who is to have an image, most smaller than the whole of the composition, but that remains the same size, zooms.  I would also like to be able to fade in).

  Whenever I have similar problems, they are usually resolved by nesting the clips to force the order of effects.

• Place of cc 2015.0.1 integrated Photoshop puts the new layer at the top of the artboard stack, not above source layer as it should, or even in the same folder of layers

  I have not looked through the video, but if you look through the files in Bridge and find the one that is stronger for the problem area.

  In Photoshop, select the layers stacked focus, right click and turn into a smart object.  Add the file that you just find the stack of layers and use Auto alignment to align the new file with the smart object.  Then use a layer mask to hide out of the areas of focus on the new layer.

  If you have CC, you can use Select > field on the new layer, then add a layer mask.

• Layer stacking in portrait retouching

  I have a small question about a complicated problem that I'm hoping someone can help me with as painlessly as possible.  If there are videos, books, tutorials or anything that deals with this topic I'll be happy to buy what it takes.  My problem is 99% of layers.  I am a headshot photographer and have been using Photoshop for many years.  I'm so not a newbie or layers, but I sometimes have some degree of difficulty with the stacking order.  I also edit other photographers who know little or nothing for the Ps and then stacking becomes more a problem for someone who didn't actually change the photo.  Specifically, I'm trying to learn the best practices to CONTROL things while it is always possible to go back and change something from a lower layer.  However, my problem is that I often need to do a flattened layer (Mac: shift + opt + cmd - E) and then do something from that moment.  This, of course renders curves adjustments and other useless insofar as the changes you want to make later due to layers above it being cooked in the future. I'm not quite clear what adjustments MUST be on pixelated layers and which ones can be on a layer empty.  If anyone has any advice on this I would be very happy - OR - can just tell me where I could find instructions on this specific topic.  Finally, if there is a better forum for me to post this I'll be happy to do so

  Yes, "visible buffer" is the same thing you called flatten layers (shift + opt + cmd + E); but there is a new layer as opposed to the flattening just what is already there.  Just semantic, we do the same thing.  The goal is to do what you can not destructive (without visible stamp), and it looks like you do when you don't have to:

  Spot Healing: You can open a new empty layer and use the clone/stamp tool, just make sure to check "sample all layers".  In this way the layer account your changes, not a complete copy of the entire image.  Makes it easier to choose the changes and reduces the overall size of the document.

  Frequency of separation must have its own layers.  Nothing you can do about it, that's why I do it first.  Just a note: If you go to SF, you must decide whether or not you want to spot before healing.  In most cases, at least for portraits, you should do you spot healing in FS.  It is one of the major advantages.  If I'm just something about cloning in the background, I do not necessarily want to do in FS, because it is faster on the outside, but any changes in this area should be done in the FS.  In my humble OPINION anyway.

  I don't know how you Dodge and burn, there are several ways.  But you can do absolutely not destructive.  I recommend either using a method of 50% gray, or just white and black in a soft light or overlay blending mode.  Both methods require no visible stamp.

  Eyes and teeth whiting also have several methods, many are non-destructive.  I usually do in Lightroom when I convert RAW (I think you can also do this in the new ACR? in Photoshop).  But if you use jpg or want to do it in Photoshop, it is just as easy and non-destructive.  Use a combination of curves and hue/saturation adjustment layers.  I prefer to use curves for lightness, it gives me more control, but the tint/Sam has a slider for lightness.  If they have yellow teeth, I reduce yellow saturation as well.

  All the colors and tones should be made non-destructive, through adjustment layers.

  Sharpening depends on how you do.  Yet once again, I do in RAW conversion.  The only thing I do in Photoshop is either a high-pass filter, or I can do manually in the layer of high-frequency F.S.  I prefer often do as a separate layer high pass in the end, because I don't like too strong an effect and get a better idea of how I want to at the end of the installation.

  To summarize, the only visible stamp that I use is really for the separation of frequency, so I do it at the beginning.

• Photoshop CC 2014 skew issue action layer

  I have a set of actions since a previous version of PSD (CS6 > CC) which includes a tilt layer and placing it in an exact position. Worked like a charm.

  Now I upgraded to CC 2014 and these actions are useless...

  For example - what a single action done in previous versions of the PSD:

  In previous versions of PSD result was exactly the same. PSD CC 2014, the inclination is different (incorrect) and the implementation of the transformed layer is false.

  Tried to create the same action in the new PSD CC 2014 and the result was the same. Even more - the new transformed layer is placed as if chaotically, according to zoom in the document she transformed into.

  Suggestions, please? I am quite desperate - I need to process a large number of files in this way...

  If you are replacing the image of wall with image files are of the same size a resolution.   Have you tried to place the image in the PSD file as a smart object layer, and then save the action to use replace content of dynamic object layer.  Rather than paste it into a new layer of the image and transform the new layer.   As the problem you seem to have is the transformation step does not work correctly.  Registration of the transformation steps can be as delicate.  You must have put the rule of Photoshop units so step is recorded the way it should be. Transformations can be saved using the pixel values of absolut, relitive to the size of the document in percentages and relative units like inches which depends on the Resolution of document CIO.
