Wireless deployment?

Using Jdeveloper 12.1.3.0.0

I'm trying to find out if its possible to deploy applications to CRG via a wireless connection for Android devices.

I was able to establish a connection with the BAD with my android device by following the steps in this issue of stack overflow.

http://StackOverflow.com/questions/4893953/Android-run-install-debug-applications-over-WiFi

I can confirm that this connection happens.

However, when I try to deploy the application MAF in jdeveloper connection gets dropped by the ADB.

After attempting to deploy, I need to reconnect the device.

Here's the log of deployment.

[12: 57:48] cannot run the application because the deployment failed.

Everyone tried to deploy wireless with MAF?

Thank you

Scott

Hi Scott.

I doubt that it works. What you might try is to build the APK inside JDeveloper and deploy it directly on the command line with the AFDB.

If you want a fully automated solution, you could build the APK from the command line using ojdeploy. This is explained in the documentation of the MAF: http://docs.oracle.com/middleware/maf213/mobile/develop-maf/maf-deploying.htm#ADFMF23725

  • Design of authentication issues and wireless security

Wireless newbie here... I had to quicky throws a wireless deployment in a new office/warehouse building. I have the basic net upward and the work. My remote access point associated the 2106 in the main office and users can associate and authenticate to the AP 1130 G and can access the office network. I did the basic configs and now seeks to tighten security. My questions are the following:

    (1) the user clients are Dell laptops with built-in radio. They authenticate using JUMP... How to migrate to EAP or I have to. I have a Cisco ACS as RADIUS authentication.

    (2) can I use sort of a supplicant client on laptops?

    (3) how to filter mac while rogue AP and clients of thugs can not try and associate.

    (4) am I correct in assuming the connections between the AP 1130 and 2106 are secure and if so what I need to change anything to strengthen them?

    (5) I have an AP in the main building, I want Setup to detect rogue AP I associate him as a regular access point and push a kind of policy so that it becomes a detector?

I have attached a diagram to explain. Any help would be appreciated.

1 JUMP is a form of EAP, so you already have something to terminate your EAP sessions. The WLC can do to an extent, or ACS. We chose you will be based on your needs for the rich functionality, scalability, and manageability. I would say that PEAP-MSCHAPv2 offers a good compromise between ease of use and safety and that it is significantly better than LEAP.

2 No, begging stick with Windows XP SP2. This can be configured by using the domain policy (2 k 3 SP1 or higher) and is pretty good. Just make sure that your laptops have new Intel drivers on them. Dell in particular have been pretty bad with sends former pilots in the builds.

3 MAC authentication is now lergely, considered to be a waste of time. It's so easy to spoof a MAC address, it is ridiculous, and there is a fair amount of work for the privΘ.

    4. the tunnel LWAPP crypt all management / config / traffic safety between the AP and WLC, while user data are simply wrapped in LWAPP, so it can potentially be read if the packets are captured.

    5. any will to detecting rogue APs, must really dedicated APs unless you are REALLY paranoid. The major advantage is the fastest detection, but the downside is that the "detector" AP do service customers.

  • License of ISE to WLC

    Hello Experts

I LSE with advanced for 1500 user license and I WLC 2504, and I need to integrate the WLC with the ISE in obtaining the ISE features for wireless as posture, restoring users and authentication as well.

My question: is the advanced license is sufficient, or will I install the license wireless to the LSE to have integration...

    your comments and input appreciated...

    Lydie

Here is some information about the different types of licenses-

    http://www.Cisco.com/en/us/docs/security/ISE/1.2/user_guide/ise_man_license.html#wp1074395

Essentially licensed wireless is a little like the basic license if your deployment is 100% wireless, wireless upgrade is equivalent to the license advanced once more for just a wireless deployment.

Basic and advanced covers all (wired, wireless, vpn, etc). There is no restriction for the deployment model.

  • Cisco ISE comments Portal - DNS problem - External area

    Hello

I have a client that has the following sceanrio:

    In a wireless deployment and deployment Cisco ISE 1.1.3 with CWA, when the wireless client receives the URL ISE redictect (URL to access the portal of ISE comments), this URL is based on the ISE DNS name, not on its IP address. Thus, the PC cannot solve this problem by DNS name because there is no DNS in the external area (for the guets) or by using the addresses of servers DNS ISP provided by the DHCP server, and therefore it cannot access the portal comments at all;

I know that in an attempt to manually code the IP address - it doesn't (IE in the authorization profile CWA, the equivalent URL redirection via the pair av CISCO as follows:)

    Cisco-AV-Paire = redirect url =https://10.10.10.10:8443/guestportal/gateway? sessionId = sessionIdValue & action = cwa,)

given that the sessionIdValue variable is not replaced by its real value when sending to the wireless client)

My question is: this question has been addressed in version 1.2 of Cisco of ISE - has anyone tried it if has been processed? If not in Cisco 1.2 - does anyone know iof this feature will become available?

Thanks in advance for your answers.

Manual assignment has been made available in version 1.2 of the ISE.

  • ISE - certificate of CA-signed and subordinate

    Hello

I have questions about the use of CA-signed certificate distributed deployment that I followed all steps in "trustsec how to guide" between nodes of ISE and CA-root but I don't understand how subordinates came on the scene, there are all the certificates that I should get or put between subordinates and nodes of the ISE? "

I need to understand what is the purpose of the use of certificates here. If you are using certificates for purposes of deployment and what you need to know what all the certificates you need.

The main crux of Admin must approve secondary node certificates before they can be added to main Admin node. If you are using signed certificates then just the root CA must be uploaded to the main Admin node. If self-signed certificates are used then each secondary school certificate needs to be downloaded on the Certification of root of trust authorities store on the main Admin node. The certificate of primary identity must also be added to the store of certificates of secondary education.

If you'are using certificates for wireless deployment only and you want results to validate the server certificate that I would install the authority of root CA and subordinate on the ISE and also evaluation criteria.

Your subordinate certification authority would be MySUBCA here in the chain.

    MyROOTCA-->--> MySUBCA-->--> MyIdentityCert hassignedasigned .

  • WEP to WPA migration / easy deployment to wireless clients tools

    Hello

I would like to learn all the tools that I could use for the deployment of wireless to wireless clients settings in our local network. I came across some links in Microsoft using Group by AD (GPO) policy, but GPO seems more than one deployment of operating system or applications, have not seen anything that the wireless.

You know all the tools, Cisco wireless, or even MS GPO management clients if this can be done with easy deployment of WEP to WPA change.

The tool should deployment SSID, WPA pre-shared key.

    Concerning

    Hello

MS group policy will do, no problem.

If you create a new policy for your ad group (or use your default GP) and go to properties-> the Computer Configuration-> Windows settings-> security settings-> wireless-> Create New strategies-> follow all the next, next, next steps and then add the details of your WLAN.

If you use a separate policy to the default policy, make sure that the policy options you check otherwise default group policy will stop the new parameters being the subject of a push to your ORGANIZATIONAL unit. The next time that the machine joins the domain, the settings will be drawn down and can connect to the WLAN.

If you use a MS domain is the best way to do it (both with the help of your customer WZC) and no third party tools i.e. Intel etc.

    I hope this helps.

  • Deployment of Out - of - Band NAC to wireless networks

I am to evaluate the NAC for my users Wi-wired and wireless apparatus. I've read that the only way to deply to the NAC for the without thread is in-band mode, but it seems that the following link explains that it is possible to deply to the NAC for the in-band mode or out-of-band wireless networks:

"NAC Appliance can be deployed for wireless LANs in a deployment in the endpoint Strip full-time scanning or out-of-band in a central site for periodic analysis in order to confirm compliance with the posture. The NAC Appliance server performs authentication, the posture and sanitation assessment. The server securely controls the traffic of users authenticated and unauthenticated by the management of traffic of the port/protocol or subnet policies, offering a management policy based bandwidth on share, or bandwidth by user or by using sessions on time and heartbeat checks. • Deployment of ISE in the wireless infra WLC (single 1240AG Access Point)

    Hi all

I am having access point 1240AG and plans to deploy ISE as external radius server. I would like to know how must set up in AP/ISE deifferent authorization policy. If I can use named ACL or VLAN (CoA) as an application types without use of WLC. If so, how?

    Thanks in advance.

No it's not possible, because the ios code that access points operate in stand-alone mode do not support change authorization (CoA). They will authenticate the user, and when a coa event is fired to ISE, that's when this deployment is broken and gets it lost.

    Thank you

  • Photosmart C4795 on fall back on the deployment of Airprint for 2011 schedule?

    Hello:

I recently bought the printer Photosmart C4795 wireless in September or October 2010. It is not on the deployment schedule of Airprint for 2010 on the PDF on HP support.

Would you know if The Photosmart C4795 wireless printer will be on a schedule of deployment of Airprint for 2011 or internal parts rely before the deadline of compatibility?

I want to upgrade this printer to be Airprint compatible.

    Thank you!

    Ziffel

One of the main requirements for Airprint is the must have ePrint printer.  I do not see the C4795 on ePrint models list, so it will not work with Airprint.

Another solution is HP iPrint, it allows to print Apple portable devices via a 802.11 wireless connection.

Here is a link to a document iPrint, it will show you how to get HP iPrint.

    Hi Girltekki,

you need a file to answer for when you do an install LAUGH? RIS deploys a software image with all already installed software.
If you do not all of your software in the picture already but spread your software separately then has nothing to do with an RIS installation. So please do not confuse the community ;)

  • Need help setting up WebUI for the Wireless Gateway

I have problem installing a Web UI for my demo project.

I just do temperature is a simple application of WSN on a node of thermocouple WSN-3121 and it logging on a RT NI 9792 wireless gateway.

Then, I wanted to create a web user interface and display whats in the user interface of the gateway - see the project.

SO I'm stuck with the web INTERFACE coming.  I tried to read as much as I can but I still don't know what I'm doing wrong.

As far as I see it, I need to create a web service in the construction for my gateway specifications and place the gateway_main.vi like the vi to use.  Then build and deployment.  Once it happened, and I run the vi on the bridge, I created a Web user interface as shown in the picture, where it counts the the gateway web service using 192.168.0.16:8080 - that works very well.

When I run the Web interface, it is just and expires.

I am using LAbview 2010.  Help, please.

    Hello markza,

Your approach using the Web user interface designer and understanding its use case is quite accurate, the question lies in the web service, you have deployed. The VI you build as web service, which is gateway_main.vi, while loops inside and so cannot be used as a web service. The reason for the timeout is that your user interface Builder application calls the web service LV2010 and is stuck there for waiting time loops to complete. Also, the data type of cluster is not supported in the user Web interface Builder, so you'd have to break up from the entrance of the time of picking for the node wireless in two separate digital inputs.

I recommend creating a Subvi out of your code inside of the while loop inside gateway_main.vi. The Subvi must have two digital inputs to replace the cluster (as mentioned above) and do not have one of the Boolean inputs Start or Stop. Output would remain the same, that is, two doubles and a Boolean value.

I would like to know if this is useful and if you have any other questions.

    Thank you!

  • The way of writing to a wireless bridge between two different routers.1:broadband and dir 2:dlink 605 l

I want to bridge.and wireless I can't do that... Please send me how to write to a wireless bridge between two different routers.

    1:broadband
    and
    2:Dlink dir 605 l,

    Hi Mohammed Ehsan Jourah,.

Thanks for posting the request in the Microsoft community forums.
I understand that you need to know how to make a wireless bridge between two different routers

What version of the operating system is installed on the computer?

To connect multiple computers, install a network adapter in each and run a network CAT5 cabling to connect each one to a hub (and thus the other.) The computer that will serve as a transition will have a standard network card for wired and a wireless network adapter that will connect to the wireless (WAP) access point or gateway on the second network.

A network bridge is software or hardware that connects two networks or more so that they can communicate. You can create only a single bridge network on a computer, but a bridge can handle any number of network connections.

You can try the steps at the bridge between two different routers wireless.
    a. determine the coverage area. When using two or more routers, the coverage area should be divided, and each router should be placed in a central location in each subdivision. If you add a wireless router to an existing network, this may mean moving the first router.
    b. decide which router is the main router. The main router is connected to the Internet, a LAN cable or other networks. It should be as close to the wired network connections or who has the best line of sight to another wireless network. In addition, the main router should be a high range router, allowing large tables of State and more users.
    c. buy a spare antenna, as the antennas that come with most routers do not have very good range. Quality omnidirectional antennas can push the range and signal strength of each of the routers, which, in turn, will reduce the cost by allowing routers less cover more space overall.
    d. deploy the primary router carefully. This router is the most important and requires most of the time of installation and options. Set the WEP (Protocol) encryption Service Set Identifier (SSID) and wireless, set up the Internet connection and test the router with some clients (computers). Once you get the main router deployed, deploy other routers should be easy.
    e. deploy the secondary routers, which must be configured to operate in "mode of transition." Secondary routers should be deployed around the perimeter of a large area or 'hot spots' where users placed - for example, will convene a bench Park or the table.
