• RE1000 issue of force Signal

  I recently bought and installed a RE1000 to go with my router Wireless N E1200 to improve the signal strength wireless in my apartment.  It works very well, so my question is more curiosity than problem.  I'm kinda new to networking wireless I have extensive experience in Ethernet networks.

  So here's my 'problem': I have loaded Analytics of a Wi - Fi connection on my Android phone and Kindle Fire to check the signal strength and help me with the placement of the router and extender RE1000.  It worked like a charm, but I noticed something unusual on the graph of signal for the RE1000 - it spikes wildly but constantly about-70 dBm at about-45 dBm.   Sometimes, it falls all the way down to 80 or - 85 dBm.  The graph of signal for the E1200 himself looking for 'normal '.   I am running the E1200/RE1000 on channel 2 to avoid the traffic of several wireless access in my building.  I have an excellent connection to broadband (Time Warner with mode) that doesn't fluctuate in the same way.

  The fluctuation of the signal does not appear to impact my connection on all devices.  Is this normal?  I make a mountain out of a molehill?

  I think this is normal due to other networks wireless on your apartment. If you use another, they may interfere with your signal, thus the reason for the fluctuation of the signal. But if it's not affecting your connectivity at all so no need to worry about this fluctuation of the signal.

• WRT610N new firmware - capped at 150 Mbps with the excellent signal strength?

  I've just updated to firmware 1.00.02.10, had no problem to upgrade.  I have reset the router default settings after update (via the user interface, not via the button on the back) and even he restarted for good measure.  It is covering the same way I got it before the upgrade, but my 5 GHz channel set up to 150 Mbit/s for some reason any.  I am less than 5 feet between the router and am fluctuating between excellent and very good signal strength.

  Actually, the fact that it is even fluctuating force signal very good this distance is weird also, but I am especially interested in the 150 Mbps.

  Any thoughts?

  Do not take account of this issue, I knew that I should have tried this before posting here...

  I restarted my computer, and it is now pulling between 270 and 300 Mbps.

• iPhone 6 more hang freeze issues

  My iPhone 6 more guard suspended (gel) for the past 6 months, I have to reset the whole phone sometimes up to 2 times just to get it to work again. Been a loyal (including my entire family) custome since gen 1 iPhone, iPad, mac book. Am really disappointed with the quality now. Did not bring to the service center since the first day of the problem because I thought that was just a few bugs & was sure that apple will fix it, but after many update of iOS so far, the pesisit still problem.

  iPhone is more quality I've known, hope apple can fix this problem before finally losing the most loyal customers

• Problem solved (rt3290 of abandonment and low signal Ralink) wireless card

  I recently bought a new Hp laptop which included the defective Ra link rt3290 wireless adapter, included sypthoms was frequent dropouts and forces signal flucatuating. The card was on a 5.0.45.0 Version, I tried to update via the driver properties in Device Manager but ended without any result.

  There were more messages by many hp owners on face similar problems with this card, I tried all possible solutions, including, by checking the box, other wlan adapters, go back to the previous version of the energy-saving stop disabling driver.

  I think that I ve found a solution via a simple update here

  Download version 5.0.53.0 Rev D and when said when a previous version of the driver were found after installation, click on the replacement of all previous features. The update has now fixed the problem and my wifi signal is strong and did not have a single drop out.

• Windows 7 Aero does not work after the computer and Lync 2010 screen sharing session force shutdown

  Hi guys,.

  I can't activate Aero, my theme is stuck on Basic after that I got a power issue and forced stop running Lync 2010 screen sharing (this disables Aero but it turns on when the sharing is stopped).

  I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate x 64 on a workstation with the following specifications:

  CPU: AMD Phenom II X 4 955

  RAM: 16GB DDR3 Corsair

  GPU: nVidia GTS 450 (1 GB of GDDR5 memory)

  My Windows experience index is 5.9 (determined by HDD SATAII, the rest scores are higher than 7).

  Troubleshooting I executed before writing these lines:

  • Updated my nVidia drivers
  • Checked the themes and DWM Session Manager services, both started, both the Auto value
  • Ran the store built, the problem cannot be resolved
  • Running the Wizard Microsoft Fix It, he pointed out that my graphics card does not support Aero Glass

  So the GPU is not the problem, I've been running Aero until this problem has occurred.

  Any ideas?

• Boolean switch rendering time.

  Hi all

  I have LabView of issue of a signal of my USB-6501. The output signal triggers a relay and turns a solenoid switch.

  Currently, I have a Boolean value, implemented as a button where to click to activate the signal, then click on to turn it off. In turn the valve opens and then closes.

  I am extremely inexperienced with Labview and was able to find enough to implement, but it is difficult for me to convert what others similar, but different set ups, have made the forum search.

  What I have a problem with now change this code in order to have clicking on the Boolean output affects the signal for a while (let's 500ms) and then turned off automatically (without having to set). Basically a pulse. I feel that this would imply the loop any set with a timer, but I'm not sure how to start setting this up.

  I have attached my LabView code for you to see. I would appreciate help. Thanks in advance.

  I recommend using a Structure of the event.  On the change of Boolean value, you set or reset the output.  Using a registry to offset, you can also set the timeout for the structure of the event.  Then in the timeout, use a Value property (signs) of the Boolean to force a change in value to the Boolean false.  This will result in event of change of Boolean trigger and consequently cause your output turns off.

• SATEL. R15 cable required external card wireless provider?

  I have problems with my connection Wireless on my satellite. R15. I was able to connect here at home, but were not in a position this week. So I called my cable company technical support and was told that he could not support 3rd party software, like Configfree. He said someone would come out can get me Setup with an external wireless card. I remember the first time I'm connected, the Tech (same company) person somehow connected me - without an external card. But this Tech person says it cannot help me. Anyway, Configfree reports force signal excellent, but unable to renew the IP address. Windows cannot configure the wireless connection - but Configfree has in the past. Any ideas on what I can do? Or should I get the external card to the cable company? Thank you-

  I don t think that the Configfree tool can configure the wireless connection. As far as I know, that this tool is only a diagnostic tool for wired Ethernet and Wireless LAN and IrDA. Am I wrong?
  AFAIK for Toshiba laptop come with wireless network cards Intel or Atheros. In this case, you can use a configuration of Windows or a utility Atheros wireless configuration options.

  Well, but if you're suggesting that this tool has works, then I suggest to reinstall the Configfree. Perhaps this will help you solve your problem.

• TouchSmart 610 1150y: No Audio output device is installed after the system recovery

  I recently experienced an issue that forced me to do a system recovery. I upgraded Windows 10 months passed without problem from 7. After saving, I did the recovery. The Beats Audio System will not work now and the system indicates device output Installed in no..

  I tried to download drivers without impact. I also uninstalled the audio controller (IDT High Definition Audio CODEC) via Device Manager and rebooted him the system. Doing so resulted in a warning on the unit triangle. When I try to download software updates for it, it starts to download the driver, and then sends an idicating error message that a driver has been found but the device does not work. The audio worked perfectly until I ran the recovery, so it seems not to be a hardware failure.

  

  Can you suggest a way to solve this problem or to diagnose the problem?  Thanks for any help you can provide!

  Finally! I found a solution! A Google search for a Codec IDT pilot lost in Windows 10 randomly suggested another thread here on the HP Forum. After several suggestions, is affected:

  1. Select IDT High Definition Audio CODEC on Device Manager.

  2. Select the driver tab.

  3. click on Update Driver... button.

  4. Select-> Browse my computer for driver software.

  5. Select-> let me collect a list of drivers for devices on my computer.

  6. Select Audio device high definition (not IDT high def...)  "This is important). and click Next.

  Displays warning message, but the answer Yes.

  7. Windows has updated your driver software.

  Key is step 6.

  Perfect! Worked like a champ!  Problem solved... just took me two weeks to find.

• The engine fault analysis

  I use a CRIO-9075 with a NI9205 and Ni9263 to control the movement of a hydraulic jack. Activation and position/force signals are analog. I use the library softmotion to create an axis and take advantage of the generator of the trajectory and the control loop to execute in the FPGA.

  I'm running the CRIO using FPGA and like softmotion for independent axis I synchronize RT and FPGA, for which I've read the engine periodically at 100 Hz.

  The problem is that the analytical engine gets in a few seconds in fault mode. To return to the active mode, the only way is to reset electrically the CRIO.

  I have attached an image of a minimal example in which to read the scan engine mode and read two panel controls before FPGA. The analytical engine returns 3 (default mode), but the variables read from the front panel are correct.

  Have the engine of analysis in fault mode I cannot synchronize the RT and FPGA as in the example softmotion.

  Why is my engine entering mode fault with the wrong 66341?

  Sorry to bother if you are not interested in this issue of digital signal processing. We are looking for a possible digital solutions to our problem locked frequency cavity closed-loop laser (see attached PDF file for more details).  The goal is to flatten the PZTs transfer function (cancel the resonances and anti-resonances and their phase shift matching) in the frequency domain, in addition to the normal PID control.  Input/output necessary voltage signals are small (we have our own amplifiers high power for the PZTs), and their bandwidth must be at least of 50 kHz (100 kHz would be optimal).

  Among various OR hardware/software (DSP, FPGA, cRIO etc.), would anyone recommend a cost-effective solution for rapid prototyping?

  I would like to look at the FPGA PXI cards nor 7854r.  I rate of 750 kHz, 1 MHz AO.  According to the involved treatment, you might expect between 200 and 750 kHz closed control loop.  If the treatment is very intense, it's probably something less than 200 kHz.

  That said, the key to these performance levels is not trivial and great care and attention to detail must be used in the coding of the FPGA.

  Recently, I'm working on a small program to regulate the voltage. A DC voltage can be control by the output signal of a PCIe-6341. The program controls the flexible high voltage to change from zero to 7000V in 5 seconds and be stable to 7000V to 5 minutes and then go down smoothly at 0V in 5 seconds.

  Now the question is, to linger over the tension, the signal does not remain on the latest issue. The signal voltage falls to zero and make high voltage to zero. How the voltage of stable signal a final reading, then go down smoothly to zero?

  because you default the return value to zero in the case statement to linger and let out a shift register...

• WGA600N and uTorrent... capped at 200 Kbps?

  I recently installed the WGA600N and hooked up through my card pci ethernet (gigabit capable), and everything looks good except for downloading via bittorrent.  It is connected to a DIR-825 in the 5 GHz range to N only.  The DIR-825 related forces signal about 70 to 75% and a rate of 270 to 300 Mbps.  However, in the connection network icon in the right sidebar below shows speed: 100.0 Mbps.  Not sure why this will not jump above 100 Mbps with the ethernet card compatible gigabit and forces signal strong enough?  With all that being said... If I upload a file via the web/firefox I can hit speeds of up to about 600 Kbps... BUT, if I run a bittorrent via uTorrent I out cap to a max of 200 kbps download speed.

  Am I missing a setting on the WGA600N?  Why would I capped at 200 kbps download via a bittorrent client speeds?  In addition, all the drivers are updated, my port is open, and I was able to reach speeds of 600 Kbps in uTorrent via another D-Link N adapter, so I know that's not my internet connection (Fios).

  I solved this problem.  My connection speed of global download in uTorrent preferences has been somehow set to 200 Kbps max.  So my question has nothing to do with the WGA600N.  Sorry for the waste of space here.

• WAP54G Firmware 3.04 27/12/07 - later?

  Was up and running the WAP54G ver 3.1 for about two weeks, but apparently weak signal problems (only 2-3 bars of signal strength through 70 feet of space through 2 windows to our to our laptop Acer wireless 802.11 g, 0 bars at our desk in the front room).  I thought I'd add that a directional Hawking 12dBi window would solve the problem.  She added only force signal marginal and insufficient to solve the problem.

  Went first to chat online from Cisco, who told me to update firmware to solve problems of weak signal, as I had "3.04 27/12/07" by the status window, while the download on the site file is supposed to be "27/12/08".»  And I went to the drill (decompressed as "LinksysWAP54G-Cisco - 3.04.03_20071227_ver3.trx"), concludes that the 'upgrade' in the same report of the Version of the Firmware as before.

  Question #1: is ' 3.04 27/12/07 "the latest firmware?  If Yes...

  Question #2, is if there is no possibility to reconfigure the WAP54G to get the best power transmission?

  Any suggestion would be appreciated!

  Thank you.  I'll try to get to the socket on the left first to see if that makes a difference.  If this isn't the case, then I'll try the broadcast only 'B' to see if it improves reception sensitivity.

  About firmware of part 3, the way I read the current wireless advanced settings, you CAN choose the antenna (left-right-diversity) with the current firmware (this is how I figured out who was 'right' and 'left'); but there is no transmission power setting (although there is the window says ' help').

  I'll let you know how it turns out.
