• Issue installing XP on Satellite P200

  I have the same problem as many others with a configuration of installation of XP not finding not all hard disks. I read through the topics of the forum dealing with this issue, but still have a problem. When you try to install the Intel Matrix Storage Manager installation crashes.

  I tried the method "Press F6" and nLite method (i.e. change the installation CD to include the pilot) and the result is the same in any event. I also used two different versions of the driver, on the site of Toshiba, and one later from the Intel site, but again, the result is the same in both cases.

  The driver I have try to install is the "Intel(r) 82801HEM/HBM SATA AHCI Controller" as this is the one already installed for Vista. The Setup program tries to load iaStor.sys, but fails with the error ' file iaStor.sys caused an error in unexpceted (32768) at line 2108 in d:\xpclient\base\boot\setup\oemdisk.c.»

  The laptop model is a PSPB7E-008005EN and I downgraded the BIOS with an XP version.

  Someone else has experienced this problem and better yet solved?

  To be honest I don t understand your problem. As far as I know cooling fan is controlled automatically to make it work if necessary.

• Issue of Pro 6100 satellite about the RTC battery

  I know it's a huge topic which will be discussed on, and my Toshiba is screwed. I even did a lot of research and found it disappointing that my Toshiba may not be repairable, but I have a question;

  When I boot my Toshiba, it looks good, and I can run normal programs (I get the error of bad RTC battery), but for some reason, the Toshiba randomly freezes and I have to stop it after 5 to 20 minutes to use me.

  I tried to leave it on, as some other forum topics proposed to charge the bettery RTC and it went okay, then 20 minutes later, it froze and I had to reboot.

  Sometimes it is not still turn just after that I have forcefully arrested, so I have to wait from hours to days so he can go back on. But it's useless cause it hangs again.

  Any input on it's great and I'll take advice for this problem. I want the RTC battery but it keeps freezing on me, if I want to find a way to prevent this. Thank you!

  PS: ASP Toshiba Theres two locations in my city (Markham, Ontario, Canada), so if all else fails, I'll take the laptop with my father at one of these places.

  If you want to reload the RTC battery you don t need boot up the laptop.
  You can simply connect the AC adapter to the laptop and allow it to charge for a piece of 8 to 12 hours.

  The freezing issue for me sounds like an overheating problem. This can happen because of the dust and debris inside the laptop. In such cases, cooling modules may not work correctly.
  In case you I recommend first charging the RTC battery (don t need to turn on the device), then to clean the fans (you can use carefully vacuuming).
  If the laptop freezes then you could try to reinstall the operating system.

  If all of these tips n help so you should ask the ASP for the verification of the laptop.

  You must set the FORMS_PATH in the registry. The entry in the default.env is only for runtime forms. The constructor takes tha with the registry value.

• Issue of form (survey)

  I use APEX 4.1 on an Oracle 11 g server.  I, with an assistant of the student, created a survey of several page for a college course.  The investigation is more than 100 questions in length and spans about 10 pages in the application.  I have created the first page, and the Student/Assistant (using a separate account), created the remaining pages.  On the page that I created, I put each question to get the answer it will take.  If a student jumps a question and it does not, they receive an error during the presentation of the page.  THIS METHOD WORKS CORRECTLY.  However, on the pages created Student/Assistant, defining the issues that require a response does not work.  I tried to add validation page point to these questions requiring a response, but that no longer works.  On each page, but the one I created, students can ignore the issues and they are not getting any errors during the presentation of the page.

  I was wondering if this could be caused by the fact that a second part, using another account that I am using, created these questions.  If so, is there a way for me to take possession of these questions, then the precious necessary affecting work?  I don't want to recreate this entire investigation if I can avoid it.  The investigation should move to students on Monday, September 16, so I need quickly a solution, if exists.

  Hi Bob, APEX is completely multiuser and the person who created the pages or elements makes no difference.

  Here is a shot in the dark, are the buttons on these pages redirect the buttons as opposed to submit?

  Redirect buttons would NOT save the data and trigger NO validations.

• Issue of form design - using the form in Acrobat PDF format

  I created a form in excel and imported into Acrobat Pro XI to create a pdf file which is automatically calculates the subtotal, discount, delivery, installation, retail etc...    The problem I have is that the sum does not calculate properly when the discount field or sales tax is nil.  Can someone tell me how write code if the value of "Discount" is $0.00, the value will be equal the subtotal? I should be able to then apply the same formula in the field of sales tax.  Here's the formula I am entered for the calculation of the discount and subtotal:

  Ah, if it's a percentage field, not a dollar amount (as your original question has suggested). In this case, you can use something like this:

  When my script is today Pakistan must be in write mode, then the India should be reading mode and when my script is Bud pakistan itself must be read and India should be editable.
  as much as I have tried iam successful to Pakistan as write in the current scenario and only read by Bud scenario but the India is still read in both the scenario.
  is it possible to make this happen in a form
  of course, this is possible in composite webform, but want if keeping this can be happenn in one form.

  As the above poster said, you need 2 forms, or you can do what a form using asymmetrical lines. Basically, you'll need to put your scenario of rows/columns as well as the dimension of the India and pakistan and do the readings of lines only. This can be done through security because the security does not allow installing cross-dimension.
