• BlackBerry - new user 8330 Smartphones help

  New on the bbery, new to the forum, but I read a little and appreciate what the community is doing. I figured out how to sync my BlackBerry gmail account, but I'm frustrated that I get messages and email in mail.  I have an icon for my gmail account - e:mails appear well - and another icon for messages, I thought would be SMS and voicemail notifications, but the e:mails are appearing there as well.  It is not only redundant, it's boring.  Is it possible to keep the e: mails limited to e-mail icon and ask them to not appear in the messages icon?

  Thank you.  Wasn't the answer I was looking for, but you answered my question. ;-)   More important still, I found another icon - there is a separate for SMS/MMS, which is basically exactly what I need.  Thank you!

• New curve blackBerry Smartphones user 9320, I need a little help

  9320 curve is my first Smartphone after an old style phone. I managed to understand the basics, texts, Internet access, etc. I need a bit of help with the rest, for example, I tried to download a free app, but get the error message 40721 - without put credentials cached.

  (A) what do I have to register my details somewhere to download (even free) applications, where and how?

  (B) I don't have a Blackberry ID, or more precisely do not know what is it.  How is it useful?

  I thing your carrier have not activated BlackBerry data Plan aka BIS on your account. BIS is different from a data plan normal, a normal data plan you will navigate on the internet but will not give access to the BlackBerry application. So I prefer to give you a call to T-Mobile for re - confirm whether or not they had allocated BIS on your account.

  When BlackBerry data plans are enabled on your device, and then click Manage connections > Service status > = BlackBerry Internet Service it will be " Mobile network ".

  Then call T - Mobile and let us know about your updates.

  I've upgraded via DM 122 version no problem except one, namely I have more cards to BB and I don't know what other default applications may be missing.  Someone at - it a list of the default applications that come with a new storm?

  My question is how can I get the missing apps on my phone?

  Kraut, have you fact the manual (download and install manually) and the upgrade via the upgrade of the web?

  If you did the manual upgrade, open Desktop Manager > Application Loader > advanced and make sure that BlackBerry Maps is checked for load.

  If not, you will need to explain in detail that how you performed the upgrade.

• How to install the new BBM blackBerry smartphones

  I tried to find a way to install the new BBM 5.0, but can't seem to understand. I am new to the blackberry world (3 days) and I got an old 8703e that is now configured on my line of personal relationships.

  So I've updated the software (desktop and blackberry), but it said that my BBM is updated to 4.2.1

  I'm on the outskirts of Bell to the Canada and can't do no matter how hard I try.   Hello, I just swapped my BB 8520 9300, and, to an error during the synchronization, I'm bored now 2 months of emails in my new company connected to BES BB compare to my Office Outlook and my old 8520. Is it possible to copy/synchronize emails, I'm missing from Outlook or my old BB to my new 9300? Thank you for helping.

• NEW battery blackBerry smartphones & messaging problem

  Everything was pretty wll with my Storm.  Until yesterday... I got NO problem with my battery life.  Now, my battery life is not long at all.  I don't "surfing" the web.  For most, phone and e-mail.

  I close all applications after each use.  I fully charge it overnight.  I took the battery out and put back.

  Now today, I do not receive my E-Mail address... That is what it is?  If I had these problems all along, I would have understood.  Yesterday I added some filters.  I doubled checked to make sure I didn't add anything which should not have been blocked.  I have synced yesterday.  Nothing extraordinary.  We did run Vista 64 and so far I had no problems with Desktop Manager and Vista...?

  Any suggestions?

  Now, do not fall on the laughter of this issue.  I know that some of us should put the storm down and away.  However, I am determined to prove my husband...

  So my stupid questions, is... where can I find my VZW BIS of the site?  If it's the Verizon site, loged, but I don't see anything about the reset the maintenance book.

  In BlackBerry device Wipe function is available under Options -> Security Options -> General settings -> click Menu button-> wipe Handheld.

  If you use computer Pocket wipe, you can delete all data from the device as well as the 3rd party applications. However, the basic functions like, phone, Blackberry Messenger, Messages folder and others will remain as it is.

  the phone indicates that there is 1 new MSM and MMS message, but there is NOT, I checked the mms and blackberry messenger. called Bell, they told the battery me but no help no, the new message 1 icon is still there. Any idea?

  Tips to clear the message unread... try them in the order.

  If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

  Try these options:
  * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
  Messages > saved Messages
  Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
  * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date
  Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
  * Clean and reload your OS.

• Time for a new battery blackBerry Smartphones?

  My BB9900 is around the age of 18 months. A few days after the release of a couple of applications (including the application resources Manager), the fully charged phone would be to restart suddenly, get stuck in cycles and a few minutes later appear as if the battery was empty. On the connection of a battery charger state jumps to its initial state of charge. Today I reloaded the OS, but the problem reappeared. All the smoothly wonder and then right in the middle of something (any application), it restarts and "think", the battery is discharged. Would that the battery is dead or is it a conflict with one of the apps I have? I always ensure that I keep the number of apps open at any time at least. All advice welcome

• Issue of Compression on BB Curve blackBerry Smartphones

  I have the CEO who said he was able to compress all attachments in an email before you send it.

  Example, it would have a 100K jpeg and was able to provide compress 50K. He claims that he didn't this option more since I changed the policy to the server. I have looked everywhere and can not find this option more.

  Anyone know of such option?

• 'New Message' blackBerry smartphones - but no Message here!

  I get the icon for new Message (1), but I have no new message in my e-mail, SMS or MMS. Any ideas?  Solutions?

  I have a Pearl and my phone did sometimes. It's like it deletes everything when it restarts. And just, it deletes everything. His frustration. But to clean it yourself where it will just clear all you gotta turn the power off and remove the battery. And that restores your memory.
