• Adobe Acrobat Pro 11 & Word 2007 issues of transparency for the doc

  I use Adobe Acrobat Pro 11, Word 2007 and Windows 7 operating systems.  In my work I produce documents word with photos pasted at various points. The photos are marked with text boxes, objects etc. of the arrow.  When I convert the word in a file doc PDF some, but not all, the backgrounds for text box from transparent white, that also some object disappear, does anyone have ideas what goes wrong.  I just upgraded to Acrobat 8 and don't encounter any of these issues with Acrobat 8, I'm about to reload Acrobat 8, ditching Pro 11 and request a refund.

  Any help or suggestion on what is going wrong will be greatly appreciated.

  Adobe offers no more XI Acrobat, you must have purchased from a re seller of.

  Please let me know the version of exact point of the XI Acrobat installed on your computer & the steps to create a PDF from Word?

• Flatten the issue of transparency with shadows & white text

  Hi all

  I have difficulties, flattening of transparency of the white text with a shadow in Illustrator CS6 for a project on paper. I am relatively new to this so forgive me if this is a kinda a noob question! The object I'm working with is a file of the PDF logo that I opened in Illustrator, then changed the color of text and then pasted in my working paper. What I want to achieve (the object not flattened) is the picture below on the left, and the flattened result is to the right of it. The flatten transparency settings that I used are in the picture below: these are the settings I use for all the work I've found that they tend to produce minimal injection lines (if any) during flattening.

  

  I tried to find information on how to solve this problem, but I seem to have come short. Any help would be a HUGE help!

• Firefox issue when printing PDF file from browser

  I have a problem when printing a PDF generated file from the provider of the Web site. What impression it will show anything on paper. It print empty document. This happen when I'm using the latest Firefox browser worm 29,0. If I try to print the same document using the previous version of Firefox (v28.0), it will print normally as usual instead of a blank page in worm 29,0.

  How to solve this problems. Can I change in the browser by setting to make it able print PDF file generated from Web site.

  Hello bondzerg, it's currently a bug in firefox's built-in pdf viewer that is studied by our developers. in the meantime, you can use a plugin third pdf as Adobe that you can enable in the firefox options > applications -scroll down and set the default action for the portable document (pdf) format.

• Overview of the issues when exporting pdf from InDesign

  I'm working on PC, Windows 7, InDesign of CS5. I had several problems with executives of color filled not appearing is not in the preview of an exported pdf file, different file, same problem. The files 'prints' very well. For example, I have a page that contains a logo, two lines of text in the Arial font, two photo .jpg (CMYK) and a background color solid process. When I export to PDF (I tried all the options available to me) the colorful background does not appear in the preview. I can send this file to the printer and it prints exactly as set upward in InDesign. I also systematically deleted each item separately and re-exported the same results each time. I even deleted everything on the page with just the colorful box. Same result. I did drag the elements on a page in a new document. Same result.

  Thoughts? Does anyone else know this? I looked for further discussions on this topic, but couldn't find one just like her.

  Check your Acrobat preferences under the Page display and do not forget the large images are enabled, and under accessibility and make replace safe colors is not.

• Distortion of transparency PDF printing

  Hello!

  My brain is so pretty much melt on it.  I have a PDF file I exported using several different sets of options to try to resolve a serious problem.

  You can see from the image above that there is a dark blue section where the masked image ends.  It's the real limits of this image.  In the PDF file and in the design file (no matter how I export it), it seems.  However, when you print, in this case.  I also tried several different print jobs and 3 different printers.  I can't seem to understand what it is that I'm missing here, which is the cause.  Any ideas?

  Hi, I have a gif file that I thought that if I saved for web background is transparent, but the background is still white.  How can I make the background transparent?

  If you have the Illustrator file you can export it directly from there as a .gif file.

  May I ask why you use gif and png? If it's just the transparency you are after and then save to the web from illustrator, set your size and select .png, and you will have the desired result.

  Make sure that it is not a white box or something hidden behind the chart before you export.

  I'm trying to get a minimal appearance in a ScrollPane on a project of mine.
  To do this, I only want to show the thumb ScrollPane and nothing else.
  One of the things I did to try to achieve this was to put the
  bottom of the transparent tracks the problem is what is shown
  instead of the track is the background of ScrollPane excluding its content.
  The result is a space between the contents of scrollpane and its edges with the
  ScrollPane background between the two.
  
  I guess the content of the pane scrolling is drawn only until the
  ScrollPane track is reached, what needs to be done to get my problem fixed

  I had this work according to your sample image by taking a copy of the appearance of the ScrollBar control and format code hack is a bit.

• Artifacts and issues of transparency in projects converted from the CP4 to the CP5.5

  I recently upgraded to ELearning Suite 2.5 and converted I'm working on a major project. Apart from legends Assembly is more of their spaces I see many many examples of the corrupted images. It's PNG 24-bit created in the corresponding versions of Photoshop. In some cases, there is, for lack of better words, "artifacts" appearing near the original pictures, in one case a background has what looks like a task.

  But the worst problems are by far the transitions within the slides that involve transparency, for just one example: a value of 20% opacity background image that fades in more than 20 seconds. In Captivate 4 it slowly appeared and remained well translucent finished the fade. The converted version has small black dots that appear like a swarm of midges at various time throughout opening and fade like an incandescent residue when the fade ends. It is completely unacceptable, I can't publish the project in its current state.

  The CP4 projects were created in AS2, and they are converted to AS3. What is the problem? What should I use CP4 and version 4.0 to complete projects already underway?

  All advice, thoughts, ideas, similar experiences?

  The quality of the slide is set to "optimized" or "high"?  If it is lower than you will usually have problems with PNG and transparency.

• Tried different Solutions for Flash/Spry issue w / transparency but NOTHING

  Working on a project at work...  I read that a flash movie (or a slideshow in this scenario) will always cover a menu spry that comes out on...  The menu spry making it non-visible.  I read on many forums to add lines to the flash code to be opaque or transparent.  None of these codes work, and they seem not to be in the same format as the rest of the coding.  I use Dreamweaver CS4.  Basically I want the menus spry to be on top of the flash movie when they jump, not under it.  If anyone can tell me what I need to change, I would really appreciate it...  Here is the code I have for the slide show...

  Hello, I am running Windows 7 Home Premium on a new laptop Asus UL50A series. This morning I received a message from Microsoft Update 'important' and so I updated my laptop, rebooted and noticed that the borders of my taskbar and window were more transparent. Before the update, everything worked fine, but now it does not work. Everything so far, works great except the issue of transparency. I would like to know how to fix this problem without having to do a system restore, since I already have a lot of important files on my new laptop.   Was one of these updates for a video driver?  If that were the case, you might want to go back to the previous driver in Device Manager.

  On the same note, ensuring that you have the latest video driver is also important if it wasn't one of the updates.

  Then, you should try to restart the DWM and ensuring that it is auto-start.

  In the search box, type "services".

  When the window appears, select services and check for the Desktop Windows Manager.  Try to restart it.  Then right click on the entry and make sure that it is auto-start.

  Why? Most likely because the PDF Viewer on the Tablet is too stupid to deal with show/hide functionality.

  You could try PDF Expert of Readdle on qpdf Notes Pro on Android and iOS devices.

  Depending on how the show/hide was created during the export of InDesign, it can work in viewers. Otherwise, you will need to open PDF files in Acrobat and edit features show/hide something more digests of PDF device viewers.

  BTW, you will encounter the same issues with the PDF display components in web browsers.

  What I'm doing, it's create new - background - the background contents, I choose 'transparent' - to create a logo with a transparent background. If I save this PDF to jpg or png there is a white background.

  Here is an example showing my pdf with transparent background and logo. I have then save and you end up with a white background. Let me know what error I do thank you.
