• Adobe Acrobat Pro 11 & Word 2007 issues of transparency for the doc

  I use Adobe Acrobat Pro 11, Word 2007 and Windows 7 operating systems.  In my work I produce documents word with photos pasted at various points. The photos are marked with text boxes, objects etc. of the arrow.  When I convert the word in a file doc PDF some, but not all, the backgrounds for text box from transparent white, that also some object disappear, does anyone have ideas what goes wrong.  I just upgraded to Acrobat 8 and don't encounter any of these issues with Acrobat 8, I'm about to reload Acrobat 8, ditching Pro 11 and request a refund.

  Any help or suggestion on what is going wrong will be greatly appreciated.

• Issue of transparency PDF

  I use a box filled with fixed at 50% transparency to give a go/no-go box Didem report.  When you copy to the Clipboard, it works as expected. However, when you export to PDF, the embanked area is opaque, and I do not see my data. I have attached two files in the same report of DIAdem.

• Flatten the issue of transparency with shadows & white text

  Hi all

  I have difficulties, flattening of transparency of the white text with a shadow in Illustrator CS6 for a project on paper. I am relatively new to this so forgive me if this is a kinda a noob question! The object I'm working with is a file of the PDF logo that I opened in Illustrator, then changed the color of text and then pasted in my working paper. What I want to achieve (the object not flattened) is the picture below on the left, and the flattened result is to the right of it. The flatten transparency settings that I used are in the picture below: these are the settings I use for all the work I've found that they tend to produce minimal injection lines (if any) during flattening.

  

  I tried to find information on how to solve this problem, but I seem to have come short. Any help would be a HUGE help!

• ScrollPane - issue of transparent track

  I'm trying to get a minimal appearance in a ScrollPane on a project of mine.
  To do this, I only want to show the thumb ScrollPane and nothing else.
  One of the things I did to try to achieve this was to put the
  bottom of the transparent tracks the problem is what is shown
  instead of the track is the background of ScrollPane excluding its content.
  The result is a space between the contents of scrollpane and its edges with the
  ScrollPane background between the two.
  
  I guess the content of the pane scrolling is drawn only until the
  ScrollPane track is reached, what needs to be done to get my problem fixed

  I had this work according to your sample image by taking a copy of the appearance of the ScrollBar control and format code hack is a bit.

  I recently upgraded to ELearning Suite 2.5 and converted I'm working on a major project. Apart from legends Assembly is more of their spaces I see many many examples of the corrupted images. It's PNG 24-bit created in the corresponding versions of Photoshop. In some cases, there is, for lack of better words, "artifacts" appearing near the original pictures, in one case a background has what looks like a task.

  But the worst problems are by far the transitions within the slides that involve transparency, for just one example: a value of 20% opacity background image that fades in more than 20 seconds. In Captivate 4 it slowly appeared and remained well translucent finished the fade. The converted version has small black dots that appear like a swarm of midges at various time throughout opening and fade like an incandescent residue when the fade ends. It is completely unacceptable, I can't publish the project in its current state.

  The CP4 projects were created in AS2, and they are converted to AS3. What is the problem? What should I use CP4 and version 4.0 to complete projects already underway?

  All advice, thoughts, ideas, similar experiences?

  The quality of the slide is set to "optimized" or "high"?  If it is lower than you will usually have problems with PNG and transparency.

• Tried different Solutions for Flash/Spry issue w / transparency but NOTHING

  Working on a project at work...  I read that a flash movie (or a slideshow in this scenario) will always cover a menu spry that comes out on...  The menu spry making it non-visible.  I read on many forums to add lines to the flash code to be opaque or transparent.  None of these codes work, and they seem not to be in the same format as the rest of the coding.  I use Dreamweaver CS4.  Basically I want the menus spry to be on top of the flash movie when they jump, not under it.  If anyone can tell me what I need to change, I would really appreciate it...  Here is the code I have for the slide show...

  Hello, I am running Windows 7 Home Premium on a new laptop Asus UL50A series. This morning I received a message from Microsoft Update 'important' and so I updated my laptop, rebooted and noticed that the borders of my taskbar and window were more transparent. Before the update, everything worked fine, but now it does not work. Everything so far, works great except the issue of transparency. I would like to know how to fix this problem without having to do a system restore, since I already have a lot of important files on my new laptop.   Was one of these updates for a video driver?  If that were the case, you might want to go back to the previous driver in Device Manager.

  On the same note, ensuring that you have the latest video driver is also important if it wasn't one of the updates.

  Then, you should try to restart the DWM and ensuring that it is auto-start.

  In the search box, type "services".

  When the window appears, select services and check for the Desktop Windows Manager.  Try to restart it.  Then right click on the entry and make sure that it is auto-start.

  Howdy! I'm having issues killing transparency in a TitleWindow. I've tried everything I can think of and nothing seems to 'take '. I'm running out of ideas on how to approach it. So, I hope to start a dialogue here that might lead me in the right direction. What to know about shape me the TitleWindow in question? Is the lack of transparency? Where should I look to try to trace it? Sorry for the lack of news, but my ideas to a point where I don't know where to begin to tell you why it might not work. Thank you =)!

  I probably didn't need it, but I did anyway. ;) So basically, we have a borderSkin on the Panel and TitleWindow is a subset of the Panel, and he seems to be. • Problem with fuse character inport in maya FBX

  I created my character in the fuse, I taped to Mixamo for rigging auto. I applied an animation on foot to the test. I then he exported in FBX file, including the skin. I also exported the rig with only T pose in FBX file.

  Just to be sure, I understand, it looks like that the garment is included in the file when you download it (2nd picture shows the dressed character), but you say that clothing is not at all cut to the test?

  The issue of transparency is, it is a known problem with the way some packages handle transparency, should not appear in makes or anything, so I just generally work with transparency turned off to avoid the strangeness.  You can fix to remove transparency from the body and making a transparent material separated for just the lashes if you want!

• Image quality in published. SWF

  I have a flowchart has been created with MS PowerPoint and saved as an image. I tried to save it as a. JPEG. GIF. PNG, etc.

  After I saved the image, I do "Insert-> Image" in Captivate 4. The image is the right size, so it does not need to be cropped or reduced to fit. The image looks great after its insertion, but when I publish the project to a. SWF, the image becomes slightly distorted, in particular the text on the chart (the text was added in PowerPoint, don't Captivate not - I know all about the issue of transparent text...)

  I tried to remove the text in PowerPoint and then adding text on the boxes on the image captions - it works a little better, but the text is still blurry, even after I try the methods of correction different transparent text.

  Personally, when I'm working with content in PowerPoint, I display in the slide show, and then using SnagIt to align with Captivate screenshot. I suppose another way would be to work in a similar way. Just play PowerPoint, then use Captivate to 'Record' the single screen. Once you do this, the image must be a Virgin.

• Visibility of Web issues transparent Fireworks

  Hey guys,.

  Just came across an issue today where my appearance of transparent canvas (grey/white checkerboard) has changed and is now barely visible (it appears under the name of white). If I have the contrast on my screen at extreme levels, or screenshot of the area of the canvas and the contrast I see it's still there, but it is virtually impossible to distinguish from white. Canvas is certainly the value transparent. I went through the options and can not find those that allow you to change the real texture or color of the canvas of transparency.

  Anyone know where to find the parameters of this? Or at least it back to how it was?

  This looks like a screen related issue. Fireworks has always used a light gray on a white board.

  Have you changed the settings of the screen? Have you tested with a second screen yet?

  I ask this, because the 'New' model resembles OK on my screen (calibrated color) - in fact, it has more contrast than the old version.

• Issues generated by InDesign CS2 PDF-feather effect/transparency

  I'm at my wit's end. I received a file of the customer PDF created to my features (even those we have used for 5 years). I'm having massive flattened transparency issues. I am currently using Trueflow version 3, a tear that does not support dynamic transparency; Therefore, distill my settings require that transparency will be flattened. There are some horrible results I can't fix on my end. He's prickly showing (and exit from the plate!) where she placed on certain pages .psd files. There is also a problem with feathered objects (associated pictures) - they look great in the document but then exported and flattened, there is a white box behind the photos rather than the soft look of feathers.

  When I exported its CS2 using Acrobat 5 file instead of 4, the effect is very good, but - my rip shot of it. When I export to my specs, the PDF's print these questions.

  I want to clarify that I always show print PDF files ready to help out and preview overprinting - this isn't a problem with preview - is a specific file & export & resulting print number.

  Part of the problem may have to do with the flattening settings used by your customer of PDF creation, not the joboptions themselves. As a general rule, you should have parameters of vector flattening which are set to 100% and the resolution of your device. In addition, you should have your PDF export customers rather than go through the road of distillation of PostScript.

  In addition, even flattening of transparency has seen some significant improvements in the last few editions of InDesign and Acrobat. Remember that CS is InDesign 4. The current version is 6 InDesign (CS4).

  What I would recommend is that you have your client PDF export with transparency dynamic (i.e., PDF 1.5 or higher). You should then flatten the PDF yourself in Acrobat 9 Pro (not previous versions) with the appropriate parameters for your RIP since you know the resolution you are RIP. RIP the resulting PDF file.

  Good luck. And you should really start saving for a RIP update.

  I'm developing something in Cascades and use WebView control.

  By default, the background of WebView is white.

• 'Transparency' (not CMYK) not allowed, issue controls upstream

  I'm having a problem with the option of preflight and transparency. I chose the CMYK for space, a little more merge transparency option and 'use transparency'.

  10 Psd have transparency applied in the Panel info links but they have no more than one layer and the color profile is CMYK Fogra39. Obviously, If I uncheck the 'use transparency' errors disappear.

  How can I remove this value from transparency of the PDS? (A single layer PSD, any applied effects, without channel alpha etc., JPG only imported to the PSD file to convert them to CMYK. I used the PSD to avoid the problem of the quality).

  Yes it's true. It is not intuitive, but you can have a number any of transparent objects, il y a until a background layer ID does not see PSD as containing transparency. You can run background layer if you don't want to flatten.
