  I am trying to perform a laboratory on etherchannel

  host1-> layer switch 2 - ethetchannel - R1

  Hi Sarah,.

  A portchannel can be a layer 2 portchannel or a portchannel layer-3 and not a combination of both.  In your config file switch is just a purchase order on the router layer 3 and Layer 2.

  Then, given that you are connected to a router, I guess you want a purchase order later-3.  In this case under the po interface add an IP address on the same segment as the side of the router.

• Group layer feather mask

  I am writing a script that iterates through the layers of a document and apply a feather mask if there is not already one.

  It does what it is supposed to to do, sort of, but it only works on layers of art.  The frustration I have is that we use a lot of masks on layers of the Group and for some reason any that adobe has chosen to put the property layerMaskFeather in the class artLayer rather than its parent class, the layer.  The layerset class seems to have no property layerMaskFeather DOM access, even if it is available from the GUI.  I could also select each layer in turn and perform an action on it, but I still need to try the pen of mask to see if the user already has a custom setting.  Is it possible that I can do this?

• Toggle visibility for the Group layer

  With the help of this forum, I got a script that activates / deactivates the visibility of a specific layer without selecting the layer.

  I would like to know if the same functionality can be obtained for a layer group.

  In other words the script can toggle the visibility of a layer with output actually group by selecting the Group of layers?

  I understand that some parts of Photoshop are not scriptable and wan to ensure that it is not one of them, before I was embarking on the creation of the script.

  I have a script that does what you need. Can't remember if I got here, but I know that the scripts here guys are geniuses and can help you with almost anything. That being said, here's the script you need. All you need to do is replace the three parties "Insert Layer Name Here" with the name of the layer you want to toggle. Don't thank me, thank the guy who wrote (probably someone here)

• Photoshop CC 2014 skew issue action layer

  Hello

  I have a set of actions since a previous version of PSD (CS6 > CC) which includes a tilt layer and placing it in an exact position. Worked like a charm.

  Now I upgraded to CC 2014 and these actions are useless...

  For example - what a single action done in previous versions of the PSD:

  two documents are open in PSD:

  (1) take open document > flatten > size to the report width 1000px Dungeon issues of image > select all > Ctrl + C

  (2) select previous document > paste > move > free transform including obliques

  In previous versions of PSD result was exactly the same. PSD CC 2014, the inclination is different (incorrect) and the implementation of the transformed layer is false.

  Tried to create the same action in the new PSD CC 2014 and the result was the same. Even more - the new transformed layer is placed as if chaotically, according to zoom in the document she transformed into.

  Suggestions, please? I am quite desperate - I need to process a large number of files in this way...

  If you are replacing the image of wall with image files are of the same size a resolution.   Have you tried to place the image in the PSD file as a smart object layer, and then save the action to use replace content of dynamic object layer.  Rather than paste it into a new layer of the image and transform the new layer.   As the problem you seem to have is the transformation step does not work correctly.  Registration of the transformation steps can be as delicate.  You must have put the rule of Photoshop units so step is recorded the way it should be. Transformations can be saved using the pixel values of absolut, relitive to the size of the document in percentages and relative units like inches which depends on the Resolution of document CIO. If it's a CC 2014 bug you should report using this Photoshop community customer family link

• PES 10 can't change read-only groups layer (aka I want to just make a custom in the elements DVD menu)

  A little history: I wanted to make a custom menu, so I opened a copy of one of the menu canned. In PS Elements 10 PSD files.  It opened with all the layers and their showing sublayers.  So far so good.  I made a lot of editting and had my menu pretty much right, recorded and burned a DVD with it.  I saw a few corrections that I need to do so I opened the same. PSD file and it showed all main layers (with the folder icon) but not the attached layers.

  I double-clicked to open these layers and got:

  "You try to open a group, which is not supported in Photoshop Elements.  The layers in this group will be simplified in a single layer.  Simplify the layers? Yes No. »

  I just change these things yesterday.  Everything I've done since then is save my software online. I saw that it said in this forum that "Elements doesn't support layer group/sets' but she was referring to an earlier version, I guess.

  Question 1: Is it always true PES 10?

  Whatanagement 2: if so, how me I edit the other day?

• CS4: Cannot move a layer in a together group layer.

  I created a group of layers in Photoshop CS4. When I select a specific layer within this group to try to move it, I immediately get moved to the folder and the entire group moves - in other words, I can't move that only the specific layer (I have to bring him outside the group to move). I know that wasn't the case in the past and I was wondering what could be the problem. None of the layers are locked. Thanks for any help.

  You have your Move tool set incorrecty

  uitkuijk In your Options bar (at the top of the interface) uncheck the box 'Automatic Selection '. It is more likey causing the behavior you describe.

  For the most part, the work of the drop must also be on 'layer' and not 'group '.

  This looks like a pretty good idea and then to treat one-off measures with a different value. So, I just wanted you develop your findings a bit with a group of work variable not based on a global variable.

  Variables defined in definitions are known to be global variables (public), while the variables defined within a working group are variable local. Here at the working group level, you try to access TierWinDir.132 which is a global variable, and change its value. So, instead you create a local variable to the level of the Working Group and call the local_variable. Then the local variable can be assigned to the value of TierWinDir.132 (but not directly to the variable itself), and have passed local variable to the children jobs. And for one-offs, variable_locale values can be specified differently at the working group level.

  You can create the policy so that the external group attribute ad is a component of the policy.

  When adding a new condition on the left side, select the advanced option, you'll see AD select it the external group attribute.

  From there, you can choose the operator followed by the value that you selected on the tab groups under Ad settings.

  DO NOT SUBSTITUTE BY LAYER: You can define a substitution policy that allows the basecoat to distribute a file only if the file does not exist

  So I gess that with a policy I can define rules that are applied when I apply a base coat on CVD don't when I capture the base layer of the reference machine.

  . But the Administrator's guide says: "by default, the contents of complete reference machine is applied to the base layer. You can set the rules to exclude

  specific content on the computer of reference being captured for the base layer.

  Where I can lay down rules that exclude certain content on the reference computer to be captured?

  The documentation is somewhat misleading (I asked to fix it). Layer rules apply only to download a base layer, not in the way before it.

  The only way to affect the files captured in the reference machine is to change the CVD policy and apply it to the reference machine. However, the recommendation is to use the same download policy that you use for other parameters for reference machine and control that files uploaded to the endpoints, using the rules of layer that you mentioned.

• Issues of capping layer

  I'm a web designer who is using Illustrator for all my work. Recently, a lot of my new jobs want me to work in Photoshop, so I'm getting back up to speed with it. I have a little nagging that I was not able to understand the questions:

  1. With the direct Selection tool, how to choose a small shape which straddles a larger shape? For example, a small line on top of a large rectangle. When I try to do this Photoshop automatically makes me choose the larger shape in the background. I have to zoom in super close and individually shift-select each corner of the smallest shape before I can move/transformation/what it is. It becomes painful and slow real quick!
  2. Recently in a document I'm working in whenver I do a new form, it automatically adds a bunch of styles of layer like shadow, stroke, etc. These styles are not put into market, but it adds unnecessary styles to my layers and my client is very strict about own receipt of only super .psd.
  3. How to make a line that is really 1px width stoke? My lines always seem initially like worms 2px blurred until I have to zoom and surgically making 1px. Once again, what a waste of time! is there some kind of anti-aliasing setting that I need to turn off?

  1. when the direct Selection tool is active, Cmd-click on a way to switch to the selection tool in the path with which you can drag the entire path or select the path for a transformation. Another Cmd-click will increase from SelectionTool Direct.

  2. perhaps you draw traces of shape within an already existing shape layer that has layer Style, or create new layers of shape within a group layer that has the unwanted layer Style.

  3. If you enable "Snap vector tools and transforms to pixel grid" in preferences > General and then orthogonal lines are not anti-aliasing. For curves without anti-aliasing and the general lines, I think you'll need traces of the race on layers pixelated with the pencil tool.
