  Lightroom 3 and photoshop elements 10 have well-developed organizers plans and associated interfaces. I'm new to both programs and do not know whether to go with one or both and if we - which?  I'm tempted to use lightroom 3 tools and ignore the schema from the elements.   In my opinion, it is never a good reason to use organizer of two programs simultaneously, as this leads to any additional work, confusion and disorganization.

  So, if you have to pick one, I highly recommend using Lightroom as organizer and editor and the PES as Assistant Editor. Lightroom library module is a process much more enjoyable that the editor of PES, has an interface more pleasant and (very important) has fewer bugs.

  What would you lose by select Lightroom3 on PSE10? You'd lose the major bugs in the PSE Organizer. However, you also lose the ability to face tagging in PSE (but even if you want to access the feature, in my opinion it's just not worth because of the advantages of LR in the workflow) and you'd be losing ability to the PSE to make "creations", as the photo albums. And that's it, as far as I know.

  I purge my house on all unnecessary items. I have my last physical version Adobe CS3 and Lightroom 3. I now have the CC. I do not keep these backups. I read that I can't sell my CS3 because it was the student version. What I do with it? Throw it away?

  If you wish, you can throw it... You can download the software anyway - what is important is the order number.  Personally I do not throw software disc.  I never know if I might need to serve one day.

  I'm having a problem with Dropbox and Lightroom 4. After working well for a while, when I try now to export a photo directly to Dropbox, I get a file with the data 0. If I disable the Dropbox app on my Mac, it will export the file perfectly in my local Dropbox folder. • Plug iMac 27 inches 5 k for Photoshop and Lightroom

  I am a hobby photographer (has a Nikon D750) and I am interested in buying an iMac 27 inches 5 k for Lightroom and Photoshop. What configuration should I I look for reasonable (works smoothly 95% of the time) performance? Usually I update every 3-4 years max, so I want to be a bit future proof without excessive spending that I don't know that there is something even better in 2018-2019. I currently own a 2011 basic configuration end 13 inch, Macbook Pro and other than the magnificent 5 k screen, it's only the performance of Photoshop and Lightroom that are really convince me to level because it is still a great everyday task computer.

  I have a plan with adobe and download all the updates, but have not updated for a while. right now I use LR5. I tried to upgrade the other day, at LR6 repeatedly, and the download crashed every time. I spent most of yesterday trying to get support from adobe, and even they have not been able to understand or the other. What does not occur if it's my catalog has been updated, but without LR6 I can't access it because the catalog is now too new for the LR version, I have at my disposal. My question is should I update LR 6, because I don't have it, and even if I asked it adobe did not it me my serial number?   You have subscribed to the CC in Lightroom, but you do not use? You always use 5 Lightroom?

  Even though Lightroom upgrades your catalog file to Lightroom 6/Lightroom CC 2015, your Lightroom 5 catalog is unchanged and still usable in Lightroom 5.

  In addition, I think that your post is confusing to me, I don't really know what the problem is or what you're trying to say. The catalog can be upgraded to a Lightroom CC 2015 catalog, if you were not using Lightroom CC 2015. Are you sure you don't have the 5 Lightroom and Lightroom CC 2015 installed?

  I have trouble making the distinction between Photoshop and Lightroom. Especially when you look at the subscription offers. For the software only sub you can choose Photoshop. There is no option to choose the CC or Lightroom. They always come together? Or I can choose who I want later in the process.   The difference comes in how you connect to LR.

  If you use an Adobe ID which is, or has already been, associated membership of photographers (even if the subscription is completed), it then becomes the CC version.

  If you sign with a id Adobe that is NOT and never has been, associated with a subscription plan then the program becomes the version 6

  If you need to have 2 separate Adobe ID to have the CC and version 6 active. You can do that on a single computer at the same time.

  But if you have 2 separate Adobe ID you can sign Out with one and sign in with the other. Who would turn LR of CC to 6 or 6 CC depending on which one you used to sign out of and sign back with, subscription ID or no subscription ID.

  I have both. Don't ask my why because ultimately I don't really know why I bought the upgrade to version 6. I have a subscription.

  Adobe does not integrate or covering Dreamweaver and Lightroom. It is easy to download galleries from lightroom, but how do I integrate these galleries on my website using Dreamweaver. I confess that I use Dreamweaver 5.5, but I see nothing in later versions, making it easy to do. I would think Adobe would be in addition to that.   I signed up for the creative cloud last night and installed Photoshop and Lightroom on my new laptop.
