  Deactivation requires the opening of the program and choosing the option deactivate.  If you uninstalled only the applications, which did not turn them off.  Try to contact Adobe support via chat and ask them to reset all the your activations.

  You are allowed to have the software installed and enabled on both machines, but these two machines must use the same platform (PC vs Mac) for the Creative Suite software.  If your software is the PC version so it will not be installed on a Mac.  You can cross-grade version of the platform - and since you're dealing with CS6, it is possible (not for earlier versions).   Just install the application of cc on your computer desktop, https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

  you are limited to two simultaneous 'connections', so if you are already connected to two computers when you install on your new computer you will be prompted to disconnect from the other two (using your computer).  no need to start your old computer and disconnect.

  But if you transfer your old computer to someone else, you should logout of your cc desktop application on your old computer.

  as said you may be asked to do so by using your new computer, but if not, you can do so by using your old computer.

• Activation code not valid after installing CS4 on new Mac

  When my (old) CS4 Master Collection installed, the activation code does not work. Just says it's invalid. I had the same problem in 2014. At the time someone Adobe helped me through the phone.

• CS6 installing on a new mac...

  I just bought and installed photoshop (student version) for my mac, but two days later, I hit the top. I do not know the extent of the damage for a few days (allowing to dry as suggested) but considering the worst-case scenario of having to replace it: I'll be able to install again with the same serial code? My flat mate says that I might have to pay for it? (You can imagine as a student, I can't afford after buying photoshop and potentially a new MacBook with a value of £1000!) Please help, I have no idea what I would have to do :/

  As long as the serial number is course not need to worry. You can purchase the installation disk only (it would cost around £20 + delivery + VAT) and not the full program. Contact the sales team to place the order.

• Scanning driver HP Envy 7640 install not on Yosemite Mac OS 10.10.2

  I select "HP Scan" when I'm in the type of installation installation part, which I guess means it is installed. However, does not appear the scan function.  After installation, I restarted the computer and it still does not work.

  Right now, I want to run your printer through a USB cable connection. The idea is that, when we successfully complete the full functionality of HP driver software install via a USB cable connection, printer drivers HP Envy, scan software and drivers will be loaded on your computer. How, we can then delete the copy of the USB cable from your printer and manually add the copy in the network printer to your computer. As long as your HP Envy that manually add us on your computer using the HP drivers, scanning via HP Scan should work as per normal.

  If you have a USB cable that we temporarily, can I you please take this cable now.

  Then, please reset the printing system on your Mac to remove all copies of your HP Envy that have been added to a printing capability. Once the system has been reset on your Mac, please click here to download and run the installer for a USB cable connection. Once the installation is completed successfully, please proceed to the next step.

  1. unplug the USB cable from your Mac

  2. click on the menu of Apple , then Preferences System.

  3. click on Print & Scan and then check if the name of your printer appears in the printer list.

  4. click on the name of your printer, click the sign minus (), then remove the printer.

  5. click on the plus sign (), click Add a printer or a Scanner. If you see your network printer automatically fill in the list, please click it to add it to your Mac. If you don't see your printer listed, click the IP tab at the top

  6. under Protocol select HP Jetdirect - Socket

  7. under address , please enter your IP address with printers.

  8. under name , you can rename your printer to the real HP Envy 7640

  9. by Printing help please make sure that the HP Envy driver is selected and not the driver Apple Airprint

  Once your printer is added successfully, please try printing and scanning to confirm that the two functions operate.

• Install the CS6 new Mac

  I try to install my CS6 already bought on a new MacBook Pro.  I downloaded it, but when I try to install, it asks the serial number.  When I enter the serial number it says ' serial number you provided is valid, but calling it a product was not found on this computer. "  (Not surprising because it's a NEW COMPUTER with OS of Yosemite and virtually no software on it).  He said, "to use this serial number, you must have one of these qualifying products."  The product to choose are Adobe Design Standard, CS5.5, Adobe Design Standard CS6, Adobe Design Premium CS5.5, Adobe Master Collection CS5.5 and Adobe Master Collection CS6 none that I have EVER owned!

  It is my understanding that I can install the software on two computers used only by me.  What should I do so that he can install (or upgrade of the trial which was installing Finally - I get the same error message, so be it).

  He promises that if I have problems I can contact Customer Support, but this brings me in circles.  I will continue to try to contact customer support.  I have struggled with this for hours and have no idea how to proceed.  Help, please.

  OK, here's the secret.  My serial number is a number of upgrade.  I had to uninstall the trial version and reinstall it from the installer that was always on my computer.  I'm in CS6 serial number and the message: "serial number you provided is valid, but calling it a product was not found on this computer."  I had to choose "Adobe Design Standard CS5.5' in the menu drop down and enter my serial number for this product (which was not an upgrade).  "Adobe Design Standard" is apparently the same thing as "Adobe Creative Suite".
