iTunes error: the library iTune .itl file is locked. On a locked disk or you do not write to this file permission

Original title: iTunes

I have just updated from XP to 7. I downloaded Windows Easy Transfer, but it wouldn't work if I copied all my files on my external drive myself.

Once Windows 7 had loaded, I started to transfer them to my computer.

I tried just down load iTunes 10.1.1 from the internet, and everything seemed to go ok.

But iTunes is not working and I get the following message "the library iTune .itl file is locked. "On a locked disk or youdo not write permissionfor this file."

I saw this message on iTunes support and it is said that the 'My music' folder is located in the default location in Windows XP.

Does that mean I lost my music and what should I do to be able to access/download the iTunes player.

I have songs on different drives so I have quite lost music. I am simply unable to play my iTunes library because I can't access the drive.

Thank you.

P.s. I'm not very good with computers.

Hello

Change the permissions on the folder / my music/itunes (and all subfolders and files) so that it is not "read-only".
Here's how:
a. by doing a right click on the name of the iTunes folder, and then select Properties.
b. you will see the read-only check box. Make sure it is disabled.

    Hi Ben,

    Try this:

    i. go to the iTunes folder. In Windows Vista, the default location is: \username\Music\iTunes.
    II. right-click and select Properties.
    III. uncheck Read-only.
IV. click on apply. Click OK to change all subfolders. Click OK.
    v. now check and see if you can open iTunes.

If this is not enough, then you must contact the Apple Support http://www.apple.com/support .

  • Why the NDP module says "you are not allowed for this operation?"

    Hello world

I hope you can help me with this problem!

I'm playing with the NDP module has a message saying 'you are not allowed for this operation.

This happens when I try to create a new project and try to open the window to select a project type. It also happens when I go to the ADMIN and add new types of projects?

Is there a role limiting me or does some other underlying problem?

    Thank you in advance.

    Hello

I think that you might miss an active project type category.

Go to Admin-> NDP-> categories of project types.

You must have at least one category that is active (which is indicated by a green check mark).

Once at least one is activated, you will need to go to the Cache and rinse the taxonomy of cache (just to be sure, I would empty Admin Data Cache Group as well).

Then you can go to the Admin and configure your project types.

Windows Media Player and Windows Media Center lost their libraries - they are unable to control my files or to recognize the played titles (not that I usually do that the quality is as 1912 not 2012). If I put manually the address in my music folder so that it can be monitored, still nothing in the library.

Music has always been low on this DELL Studio most of the angles - 4 or 5 different ways to do everything but none work well or overall.

    I have a few questions,

    1. If you redefine your controls with constants, that you always get the same behavior?

    2. what equipment you try to deploy to? If it's a cRIO, have you formatted your controller and reinstalled the software for it?

    3. I did a little research and it looks like a potential problem may be with firewall/antivirus. Here is the document that explains that:
