iTunes not recognizing 9.2.1 on iPhone

I have the latest version of iTunes on my mini mac and iOS 9.2.1 on my iPhone 6s, but everytime that I plug my phone in, iTunes does not recognize that I have 9.2.1 and he wants me to download and install it, why this is happening?

There is a newer version of iOS 9.2.1 designed to avoid any problem with error 53. That's what iTunes asks you to download and update. It is normal and safe.

  • USB device not recognized when I connect my iphone to my computer

Original title: USB device not recognized

I get the error message "Unrecognized USB device" when I connect my iphone to my computer.  It is the same as the one I use for months.  Same computer.  Same sync cable.  I have changed everything, including hang iphone to my wife instead of mine and get the same message.  I also did a restore on my computer that doesn't change anything.

    Hello

At this point, I think it's a good idea to run a scan for viruses/malware on the PC with the anti-virus software that you have installed.

Also, if you haven't already, I would try removing the USB controllers and restart again, now that the updates of Windows are installed. Don't forget, you can even download the drivers directly from manufacturer support site for your PC, if they install automatically when you restart after their removal.

Finally, take a look at the thread I linked below. The first answer is quite similar to that mentioned above in this thread, but there are also a few other really good measures listed there as well. Then take a look at the linked thread and see if that helps at all.

  • iTunes not recognizing not not iPhone after 10.0.2

    Hello

I updated my iphone to 10.0.2 and it seems that my mac is not able to recognize the iphone since.

This is what happens when I connect it via USB:

My Mac has said something to the effect of (in Japanese) "could not connect to this iphone because an invalid response was received." The only button on this message is an OK button.

And the iphone asks me if I can trust this computer. Naturally, I press Trust.

But nothing happens. The iPhone will not be displayed on iTunes.

    I run macos 10.8.5 with iTunes 11.4 (18)

    Thanks for any help!

iTunes must be of v12.5.1 or more to connect with iOS10

Your OS x must be greater to download iTunes 12.5.1 or equal to v10.9.5

  • iTunes not recognizing iPhone 4S

It seems that my iTunes 11.4 suddenly does not recognize my iPhone 4 s - 9.2 on my Macbook is running on 10.6.8.  I have tried everything it suggested but suspect that Apple decided that 10.6.8 is now ancient and has excluded from my phone which is currently running on the system to date.  Please tell me that I'm wrong and the way to 'come back' to my iTunes research my camera so that I can save etc...

You can not downgrade iOS. If you can not put OS X, you need to either buy a newer computer, or run Windows 7 or higher in a Virtual Machine or using Boot Camp and use iTunes for Windows.

No driver Apple is seen, they appear as a 'portable '.

iTunes does not see the iPad or the iPod Touch.

Tried different cables and USB ports no joy.

All work fine on other computers that are running windows Vista and 8.

  • iTunes not recognizing not no authorization of the iMac

When I plugged the iPhone to my iMac and launching iTunes for backup and synchronization, a window will appear indicating "some items purchased on the iPhone" # ", including" # ", could not be transferred...". "insisting on the fact that this computer is not allowed. He asked to get my butt to iTunes store and allows it. Well, of course, it most certainly IS allowed. But I went anyway checked tested that it is indeed authorized. It goes to the list over a dozen apps that are so affected.

Then... what? What gives do you suppose?

Judging by all the other recent posts on disorders of error and the authorization of Port 443, I would say that there is something bigger going on. Status of Apple said that everything is fine, it must be just a bug with the last update.

  • iPhone, iPad Air 2 not recognized by iTunes

Very frustrated right now. Given that Apple's Support is not in contact with return despite requests, the story will go here. I have Windows 10, iPhone 6 + and iPad Air 2. Last weekend I was invited to and did pass to iTunes 12.5.1.21. Plugged my iPhone 6 +. Not recognized by iTunes; 'sync' gray. Tried the same thing with my iPad 2 Air. Same result. I get no error message.  Here are my troubleshooting - what I'm missing, Apple?

    1. Lightning card Checked, works fine with other devices.
    2. Rebooted PC.
    3. Rebooted IPhone.
    4. Restarted iPad Air 2.
    5. I've tried different start up sequences (start iTunes connect manually; first)
    6. Went to 'Upgrade device via Device Manager' - these devices are working properly.
    7. Updated my iPhone and iPad 2 air for iOS 10 successfully.
    8. Apple email support; 48 hours later they gave me another email address for contact.
    9. Chose the Contact Apple Support via phone option - screen "we will call you - your phone will ring at any time.  Still waiting for the phone to ring.
    10. From Discussions on Apple's site with troubleshooting tips, have tried all suggestions with no luck - If iTunes does not recognize your iPhone, iPad or iPod - Apple Support.
    11. I even opened and closed the blinds completely throughout my house to see if that would help.  Go figure.
    12. The last resort on them, says "Contact Apple support" - see #9 above.  Twice.

Apple-Support - What should I do at this point?  I'm all ears, and Android is looking better and better during my next upgrade.

Happy to report that I finally found a position that has fixed this. Someone has to give Community contributor turingtest2 a price, they had an incredible post in communities that have corrected my problem.  See below for the excellent suggestions.

Try opening the iPhone before connecting to Windows. If the film is not empty, then the device should be listed in Windows Explorer. If it still does not show try to restart the computer and the device, and then try again. If it does not show more in iTunes then try iOS device is not showing in iTunes for Windows.
