  • I lost my DVD backup of Windows vista, can I download it?

I lost my DVD of windows vista backup, and I need. Can I use the product key to download? and whence?
    Thank you

    Hello

There is no Windows Vista downloads available from Microsoft.

Here are the different ways to reinstall Vista.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a set of recovery disks.

They should do this for a small fee.

"How to replace Microsoft software or hardware, order service packs and replace product manuals.

    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/326246

And there may be a recovery disk to reinstall Partition Vista on how you purchased your computer.

The recovery process can be started by pressing a particular combination of the key or keys at startup.

    Maybe it's F10, F11, Alt + F10, etc., depending on the manufacturer.

Ask them to the proper key sequence.

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

    See you soon.

Please wait while the DVD is created.

  • Completely lost and confused about this thing of VM...

Hello... I'm eager to try this thing any virtual machine so that I can try windows 10. I can't just update windows 10 because I use my laptop for school and there are too many conflicts, glitches, or whatever you want to call them between the programs that I use for school and windows 10. in any case and through my school I have access to the Dreamspark site and downloads (if you are not familiar with what is, I think that its really irrelevant necessarily anyway). Well, I burned the iso image to a disc and I have a folder of virtual disk on my computer so I think that means that I have downloaded the program, but when I open it and try to run it it always says that to restart or insert media that tells it where boot them from. so I try to run the components of integration of the iso image and he tells me the same thing. I am completely lost and totally frustrated and hope that someone can better explain the proper procedure, I should take to do this "thing"!  the operating system running on my laptop at the start is Windows 7 Professional 64-bit. Don't know what other info would be relevant, so if I left out anything important, just ask and I will specify.  Thanks in advanced for any help.

I'm not familiar with the Microsoft Dreamspark program, but install Windows 10 on a Virtual Machine on a host Windows 7 is pretty simple using VirtualBox, a free application.

The following link can walk you through it step by step:

  • Where bookmarks are located so I can backup a dvd using burn now?

I can't save my Firefox Favorites to the dvd. I've been back up Favorites (XP), but I just noticed that the bookmarks in that folder are not my current Firefox bookmarks that are displayed on the bookmarks Firefox "drop-down." Where are bookmarks to see them and burn them on dvd using Ulead burn now? I followed the path C: > docs and settings > username > application data > Mozilla but I couldn't find all the bookmarks in a folder in the folder of Mozilla. I wouldn't be able to see these bookmarks in a folder? Thank you for your time and your consideration. A.C.

You can create a backup of the bookmarks HTML.

    • Bookmarks > show all bookmarks > import and backup > export bookmarks as HTML

Such a file can be opened in Firefox and is not difficult to interpret in a text editor (an HTML editor should do a better job).
