J4680 print wireless Internet

I have a portable printer J4680 with HP G series computer with Windows 7 running FIOS.  The wireless printer print from Word, but not the Internet.  If I want to print from the Internet, I need to connect the USB cable.  Tried troubleshooting.  Installed, re-rigged, uninstalled, power resets.  Tried HP Print Diagnostic which stops connectivity.  (HP Print Diagnostic works completely when the USB is connected).  I tried HP Network Diagnostics also stops with connectivity.  Ready to throw the printer from 8 floors.  Help!

We will set an IP address of the printer:

-Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
-Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
-Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
-On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you know what it is, set an IP address outside this range but not exceeding 254 (the last number of the address). If you don't know it, enter the current IP address.
-Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
-Let the gateway and DNS white. Click 'apply '.

Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

After that, you will have to redo 'Add printer' using the new IP address.

Original title: How can I delete copy 3 of my printer wireless?

I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit and a HP J4680 printer wireless.  I have problems printing anything.  When I open the device in the Panel, it is called HPFD6327 (HP Officejet J4680).  However, when I open the troubleshooter, it refers to the printer as copy 3.  I tried to delete copy 3, but he begins to turn upwards and is also one of the choices when I click on 'Print' an application.  When I send a print file, it goes to the print queue of the printer, but prints never.  I updated the printer HP, uninstalled and reinstalled the printer drivers, cleared out of the queue, turned the printer off tension-and-many times and restarted the computer.  I can still print it.  I believe that this issue has been raised already, but so far nothing has worked.

  • Print wirelessly without internet

    Hi all

I am trying to achieve something that I don't know if its possible...

I have a HP DESKJET 3050 a J611 series and I installed in a wireless network with a router, I have been havin that is not connected to the internet.

In this network, I have just the printer and some android devices connected to it.

I used a laptop (which won't be there once everything works) in order to set up the printer for the WIFI, and then I used my android device using the HP printer control application to manage the printer.

So far, everything is ok. My printer connects to WIFI and my printer hp android control tool allows me to detect the printer as well as to the things maange like printing test page, to align the cartridges, etc...

The problem comes when I try to print a doc. I have a MS Doc in my camera and I want to print using this configuration. But when I go to the printer control tool I see a tab for files, photos, etc... When I enter this faucet no docs are here. I don't know how to put docs in there in order to be sent to the printer.

I also tried with eprint, but I see that it requires Web services of the internet to communicate with the printer. And it is not possible that my network has no internet connection...

So which is the best way for my android device to communicate with the wireless printer (no internet) and to be able to print this MSWord document?

    Thanks a lot for reading

    Best regards

    Biel

    Hi Byle,

I have the information you are looking for. If you look at the following link you will find what is supported.

Apple : Photos, PDFs, files text (TXT), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint, including those received as email attachments and webpages.5

Android : print photos or save a PDF. scanned images or documents as jpg or PDF and upload to popular cloud storage services like Dropbox.

    What file formats are supported

It seems that Android does not support Microsoft Word as you hoped. You can try to edit the document in PDF format. If you need assistance to change file formats, you can try to download Kingsoft on Store allows you to open the document and re - save as PDF.

    I hope this helps

  • HP Photosmart B110: B110 does print wireless more after the passage of internet service provider

    Hello

I have a photosmart b110 and always used printer wireless with no problems.

I use a laptop HP G62, windows 7 Home premium and as I said, never had any problems with my printer before (and goes through all the printing test pages, is anything wrong with that).

A week ago I changed my (internet) providers, and since there are problems:

But on the HP Networkconfigurationpage prints, the printer gives all the correct information (networkname etc.), it does not react to print from the laptop orders more.

Well, it does work once after the problem started and well after that I have installed on the pc (using "add new printer")

However, the next day, after having restarted the laptop, the connection was working no more.

So far, I called the service provider 3 times (in order to get different people) and heard 'Sorry, no idea' twice and "If you don't have internet, it must be the fault of the printer.

Can someone please give me an idea about where to look?

The last provider had a cable connection, this one is by telephone line, could that be a reason? And if so, why? And how can I solve this problem?

So, I hope that someone can offer some suggestion help! :-)

Reset the printer to the network settings.   Then...

Replacement/change your wireless router try here.

    http://www.HP.com/global/au/en/wireless/reconfiguring-system-Help3.html

However, if you have a gateway device, all devices in gateway (modem + router) are terrible for connectivity and wireless performance.   If this does not work, suggest you put this bridge in full bridge mode device and install your own router of high quality that YOU have full control over.

  • 3510 printer: direct internet windows wireless printer

just to check: on my WIN 7 PC, I cannot not BOTH

Print via direct wireless (WD) on my 3510

    AND

internet access on my network (WHN) wireless home

    i unless:

(using WIN 7) switch between the WD network and the network WHN

    or

manually disable WD on the 3510?

This is inherent in the implementation of WIN7/WD?  Yes/No?

    Hello

Indeed by connecting to the Direct wireless network you will have no access to the internet, it is an expected behavior:

Wireless connection issues > How do I print wirelessly without a wireless router? > Downsides to peer-to-peer networking:

Your computer can only connect to one wireless network at a time. When it is connected to your printer, it cannot also connect to a wireless router (for Internet access, for example).

    http://www8.hp.com/us/en/campaigns/wireless-printing-center/faq.html

To obtain the complete network features, need you a router to connect to the printer and the internet.

  • Is it possible to have a connection to printer wireless and wireless Internet at the same time with Windows Vista?

I'm trying to connect my wireless printer while maintaining my wireless internet connection. Is this possible?

    Hello ScottWatt,

Thanks for your post.  Yes, however, there is a specific way to go about it.  Since you have wireless internet, you probably have a wireless router.  In this case, you must change your printer settings to connect to the router. You can find information on how to do this either through your manual, or online from the manufacturer's Web site.

Then you would connect your computer to the Wireless internet connection as well.

From there, both your computer and the printer would be on the same network, just install the printer on a network and you can surf the web and print wireless.

    See you soon

  • Wireless network with 2 computers and a HP J4680 printer with connection problem

I have two computers.  Each of them has been connected to the HP Officejet J4680.  I can "ping" the printer from both computers and get a response.  I can print documents to the printer to a computer (A), but not the other (B).  Each computer uses the same IP address and Port HP_192.168.1.3_CN95L981CS052X 192.168.1.3 for the wireless printer.

Today, I learned if both computers are turned on, I can print from computer B, using the printer profile stored in A computer.

I reinstalled the driver several times.  I reconnect the printer to the network.  The troubleshooting provided by HP software was not able to determine why computer B will not recognize the wireless printer.

I don't want have always both computers to print to the printer wireless.

Sounds like it could be a problem with the software. To begin with, that I want to be sure that remove us the software completely and correctly before you continue. Follow the instructions below and see what happens after.

First of all, if you use a USB cable, be sure to remove it (it's important). Do not plug it in again until the software instructs you. Through devices and printers, programs and features and issues Device Manager and make sure that all copies, files, and programs related to the printer are removed. As indicated, and then restart the computer.

In the menu START menu type "%temp%" and press ENTER. Here, I want you to press Ctrl + A, and press DELETE. Some files you cannot delete them, ignore these files and delete the majority that allows it to.

find and install SOFTWARE to FEATURE FULL if it is available:

    http://h10025.www1.HP.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?cc=us&LC=en&DLC=en&product=3692888

Install and let me know the result!

HI: I finally received my J4680 all-in-One to print via my home wireless network with my router wireless n Linksys (Windows XP).

The NDU HP printer network easily located, but when I try to add a new device or change the wireless settings, my printer is not found.

When I try to open the HP Solution Center, it is said that no HP devices can be detected.

    Nevertheless, I can print wireless.

But I can't just scan through the USB port.

Without the USB attached, is no longer a HP TWAIN is located.

I have disabled my firewalls and have added the ports suitable as descrbed in other posts.

    Any other ideas?

    Thank you.

OK, good growth.  The printer is on the network OK.

Now, I think that the problem is in your computer.  Uninstall the HP software and re-install from here.

  • Need help with printing wireless and Air of printing

I have a Xerox printer connected to an Airport Express station and I was able to print wireless from my Mac. I just replaced the Xerox with a Brother printer which has built in WiFi and Air feel, although I can't get anything to work. I entered my password WiFi network directly on the printer. The instructions had me download the drivers that I did and I download a wireless configuration program that asked more than about nothing if I already entered my password of the WiFi network of the printer.

    1. I do not remember how I already had the Xerox facility to print wireless from my Mac. I just plugged a USB cable directly linking the Airport Express to the Brother printer to bypass the built in Brother WiFi and use the Airport Express for internet.

    2. any thoughts on the use of construction vs the Airport Express WiFi?

    3. what should I do do AirPrinting work?

    Thank you.

I use an Epson printer set up as AirPrint rather than as a brother, but I expect the two similar configurations.

All I had to do first was installing the printer on my network domestic wi - fi.

Then in system preferences > printers & Scanners

    Select Add printer

Select the printer and set its AirPrint and add

What printer model is Brother and in fact specifies that it is compatible AirPrint, or just a Wi - Fi connection?

  • Extremely slow printing wireless with HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m

I see extremely slow print speeds when printing from a Mac or a Windows XP system on a new printer HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m wireless. The printer starts printing immediately when I request a print, but it only prints one line. It will take about 15 minutes then to print the rest of the page, each print after a very long break line. Print demo page doesn't exhibit this problem, only documents of programs such as Word 2008, Safari, and Firefox (I tried firefox on PC and Mac) are affected.

If I connect to the printer via a USB connection it prints very well, so this problem seems to be the only wireless printing.

    Printer: HP Photosmart Premium C309g-m
Computer: Mac mini (late 2009 model) (also tried a Windows XP laptop, by comparison using the latest drivers from the HP website)
OS: Mac OS X 10.6.2 with all available updates installed
Method of connection: cable Ethernet connection to the router wireless
Printer drivers: version 2.2.1 (Apple provided, drivers HP never installed as system comes with 10.6)
Wireless router: Apple TimeCapsule (early 2009) 1 TB, honing a/d and modes of b/g on 2.4 and 5 GHz. TimeCapsule is in transition as the DSL modem handles DHCP service mode
Encryption: WPA2 Personal, no MAC filtering or hide the SSID.

IP addressing scheme: all addresses are distributed by the server DHCP without reservation of any kind

The TimeCapsule is sitting three inches from the printer and the printer indicates the complete signal. Connecting the printer to the wireless network and setup of the printer on the Mac went off without a hitch. Only when you print a test document discover us the problem. The wireless network will behave as expected when you access Internet from Mac and Windows devices (tested with a laptop computer Dell XP and a MacBook with OS X 10.6.2), so I don't see any problem with the wireless network together.

    Attempt to use:
1 reboot and power off, wait, restart the computer
2 reset the print subsystem, the printer off and on again and reinstall the printer

    3. disconnect the power to the printer and let it sit for several minutes before trying to print wireless.

    None of them worked.

I don't know exactly what is happening... I'll have to think about.

Looks like you're running with the current configuration.

    Can we call this resolved?

Is your wireless network setup correctly? I mean is your wireless laptop printer and your router configured properly and that you have a connection to the internet router trough wireless?

Please give a better description that you have, if you have a wireless network with a router etc... and how is your configuration if your network is configured with dynamic IP addresses etc...

  • How to set the printer wireless ad Hoc mode to CP1025nw with automatic stop is off? IE never automatic.

How to set the printer wireless ad Hoc mode to CP1025nw with automatic stop is off? IE never automatic.

Thank you very much for your help, if necessary.

Quite a few questions, send, but I will do what I can to answer them.

I recommend first to buy a router, even if it's one you won't connect to internet and it network with others your PC and printer. This will give you the best features and the results of what you're trying to do.

In addition, the automatic stop of the printer function can be disabled and is not affected by the type of connection. Usually, you can go through the configuration Menu and select tools to change the options there on the energy saving features.

Finally, the auto off function on your computer is a Windows question, but one easy answer. If you're on a laptop, you can right click on the battery in the tray (lower right corner) and change the settings for energy conservation.

You might be better off installing the printer via the USB cord and alternately inspiring when you use it, but which is not optimal if you are printing only a few documents on an irregular basis. A network connection is the easiest to manage across multiple computers, honesty, but you have certain requirements for this connection and limits as well.

I hope this information is useful!

  • Cannot use our new HP Photosmart B210e printer wireless with HP ePrint server.

We bought a new printer HP B210e for our House to be able to print wireless smartphones, laptops and desktop. The first problem was that our main office, which is about 3 years old and under XP would not find the wireless printer. I contacted HP and after several hours, they changed my desktop to be able to see the printer. Alongside this, they configure the printer to have a fixed ip address.

It worked well, but I still cannot print from the photo tray. My wife's office has also had the same problem, but we will stop using this office. Not something we want, but she has a laptop computer.

The main feature that we wanted to use had to be able to send an e-mail to our printer through the HP eprint center. Who has worked on the first day, we have signed, but has not worked since. It seems that our printer cannot connect to the HP eprint center at all. We can send e-mail to our printer through the eprint server. We can see that the e-mail message has reached the server, but the server cannot transfer the email of the printer. We check the Setup wireless on our printer and it is correctly connected to our home network and I can print wireless from my office.

We're fast approaching the decision of the printer to where we bought it. We do not want to, but have no choice unless we can understand how to print from our smart phones.

So I ask for help with the printer or a recommendation on which printer you can buy that actually work on our network wireless home. I tried to find what printer is best for this purpose on the Internet but find that there, the information is just too complicated for us to make a decision.

PS: I see too many complaints about the HP ePrint Center, but very little about HP trying to fix or even acknowledge that they have a problem. I think they do!

I can't comment on the ePrintCenter (maybe it's temporarily down?) but I know that your printer is capable of printing from an iPhone or an iPad... your smartphone you happens to be an iPhone 3GS or 4? If so, you can use the last iOS4.2 that supports AirPrint and print directly to your printer. As long as your iPhone and your printer are both connected to the same network, that is. I hope this helps.

  • Laptop running Win Vista will not print wireless connection

I have a problem I'm trying to print on a printer of all-in-one HP Photosmart 2575 of my laptop.  The laptop is running Windows Vista and connect to the network using a Linksys WRT54G2 router is using.  The printer is connected by Ethernet cable to my desktop (Windows XP), and it prints fine.  No matter what I do to print via the wireless router, nothing happens except that the print output only goes to print that and sits down.

I down loaded the software HP2575 of Vista and updates directly from the HP site.

Six days ago, when I first installed everything on the new laptop, I did a test print very well.

Computer portable printer is configured to print documents Spool and using the Port "Dot4_001 HP Device.  In addition, it has the value "share this printer."

I tried a test and connected the laptop to the printer using a USB connection, and that runs just OK.  Wireless internet works fine for web connections.

So, what have I done wrong

I finally solved the problem. I don't know why it works this time.
