J8X12UA #ABA HP 15 Notebook PC: touchpad disorders [Please HELP!]

My touchpad is going nuts he freezes, runs the commands not given, and now there's an error message that appears at every moment. I tried to get HP to look at before that my warranty was rising, but appearently they abandoned cat of support around the windows of time even ten has been released. HP to my eyes are chinzing punks who can't own up to what they sell. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Google the name of your model + "manual" and you should find on sites of HP service guides. They have all the information you need.

I got the touchpad on my old Dell occasionally going nuts, and it seemed to be a problem with the Earth, due to 3rd party power that I used. The problem should go away if I'm founded by (without interruption) touching a metal surface. If your problem maybe not solvable by simply replacing hit it, because it might be another question.

However, worth a try, as long as you return the piece if it does not work.

Please help I want this driver on Windows 7-64 bit

    Hello:

You need the graphics driver, and it will also install the graphics card intel too.

This package provides the AMD graphics driver high definition (HD) and Catalyst Control Center for models of laptop computers that are running an operating system supported. For laptops equipped with switchable graphics modes, this package contains the drivers for the two graphics (GPU). Switchable graphics allow users to switch between a graphical power mode (normally used under the power of the battery) and a mode of graphics performance. If the video output high-definition multimedia interface (HDMI) is supported, this package also installs the HDMI Audio Driver.

  • Notebook Synaptics TouchPad on HP 625 computer wheel

HP 625 notebook computer & Windows 7 Home Premium bits.  Can I disable only the touch-type 'wheel' on the Synaptics TouchPad V7.4, leaving the rest of the Working Group TouchPad?  It can be a nuisance!

I tried this on mine and it seems to work, go to control panel > mouse > device settings > settings > expand scrolling in the left column.

Take the black square point stressed by the yellow arrow and reduce the size of the scroll area until it no longer exists.

I also found a box of "Uncheck" 'enable vertical scrolling '. Uncheck this box simply deactivate it. If you click on "Scroll of a finger" in the screenshot may be disabled it. See purple arrow in the screenshot below.

    Hello

All of a sudden I lost my touchpad. It is no longer allows her to follow my mouse movements. The power toggle button touchpad seems not too much work. I can't turn or no more. I rebooted my system a couple of times with no result. Also tried to uninstall Synaptics Pointing Device Driver and later installation of the latest version without any positive impact. Will be great if you happen to have any suggestions.

    Hello

It is always interesting to try the following.

Shut down the laptop, unplug the AC adapter and then remove the battery.  Press and hold the Power button for 30 seconds.  Reinsert the battery and plug in the AC adapter.

Robinet tap away at the key esc that you start the computer to launch the Start Menu, and then select f10 to open the bios menu.  Press f5 to load the default values (sometimes it's f9, but the menu below indicates the correct key), use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press ENTER.  Press f10 to save the setting and still use the arrow keys to select 'Yes' and press on enter.

  • HP Pavilion dv4 Notebook PC: touchpad scroll function not working after installing windows 7 (64)

After a complete hard drive failure, I installed Win 7 everything works, as far as I know, except scrolling on the touchpad. I went through all the troubleshooting I can find.  The last one I tried was in the Control Panel, mouse and look for the details of the touchpad. It is not listed there.  I can't find a driver to install HP and Driver Downloads. Where can I find a driver for the touchpad with scrolling? The only thing listed under the mouse in the menu of device driver is a PC mouse.

I'm sorry that the link of the page didn't work.  HP has problems with the website support, and even for me at times, page links do not work.

As for the installation of Windows 9, how to acquire that is to order the HP recovery media. It is a DVD and CD set that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP.  You get these by contacting HP Customer Service.

My laptop is freezing up on me and my fan makes loud noise. I have a laptop HP G62 S # [personal information deleted] and PRODUCT # wa912ua #aba.  I think I need to change my fan cooling for my pc can operate normally, is that correct? If Yes, can you tell me what part I need to buy and how to change it myself.

    R,

G62-144DX is the model and it has an i3 processor and Intel UMA graphics card so use this cooling fan:

    Systems of UMA 595832-001

    Your manual

See page 4-41 and the attacker for the replacement instructions.

The real smart thing to do is to remove the old one first then order replacement to be sure it's the same thing.

  • How to turn off/turn on my notebook computer touchpad under vista home premium?

I have a model laptop Medion MD 96420. When I write something, I often accidentally brush on the touchpad with annoying effect.

I asked Medion customer support and I was told that it is a software problem. A big problem, apparently.

    Hi josefgrubert,

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: Follow these steps:

    (a) go to control panel, mouse and device settings tab.

    (b) click on enable or disable.

Note: On some models, there is a keyboard shortcut to enable or disable the touchpad. For example, just do Fn + F7 or F8.

Method 2: Perform a clean boot to see if there is a conflict of software like the clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: After the boot minimum troubleshooting steps, follow step 7 in the link to return the computer to a Normal startupmode.

  • How to turn on the notebook computer Touchpad scrolling feature

On my laptop, I use to be able to slide my finger on the left side and he would automatically scroll to the bottom of the page, I was sure if I used the scroll bar.

How that has turned its back?

    Thank you

    Hi Scott

The Touchpad settings and options will vary between manufacturers of laptop computers, depending on the brand of the touchpad that installs the manufacturer.

Open the Control Panel/mouse properties. Looking for a touchpad tab where you will find these settings. If this does not work, search for a distinct Touchpad component in Control Panel.

You can also view documentation for this laptop for more information or contact the support of laptop manufacturers.

    Tell us what you find.

    Kind regards.

Goes to black screen at startup. I did some of the steps to recovery, testing and startup options. I noticed it says it was a 5... Past to a blue screen every now and then and since I do not know my outlook password that I can't. It shows a memory error at startup

What does that mean? New hard drive?

    Hello

Unfortunately to say: most of the time the 24 tank failure id indicates the drive is defective and must be replaced. It is still under warranry? In the affirmative, please call HP for a replacement.
